Hello
After the last update that I can develop is more saved passwords window shrinking the web address to make it unreadable when the "Show passwords" option is selected? What passwords are shown the window compresses web addresses that leaves the www / / http and I can only be able to view a letter or a description of the site. Given the number of passwords you need and different requirements (i.e. 6.8, or 10 characters, high low case number of cases etc.), I quite often find that I want to display the entire page.
Is there a way I can expand this window please? I know I could use a master password, but I always like to follow the real things...
THX JasLower right corner is a "triangle of 6 points" which allows this window to drag more big. Once more this setting is after the closure of the tab "content" and even after that Firefox is closed and reopened.

I was looking on a saved password when suddenly my computer crashed and restarted. After reboot I couldn't see the saved passwords.
As a test, I saved a password and this password is displayed in the list of saved passwords, but all the others are still missing.
How can I retrieve my saved passwords?Thank you!
If the file has no valid data then you may not use this file.
You can try if there is an earlier copy of the logins.json file.

Suddenly all of saved passwords are gone on my pc. How can I get back them?
All saved passwords disappeared suddenly. It's there, but I restart my PC and open my Firefox and none of them are there.
How should I restore them? The extension 'Remember password' has been reported to cause problems with passwords disappears, so if you have this extension and then remove (uninstall) it.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You can force Firefox to re-import the file signons.sqlite passwords.
- reset the signon.importedFromSqlite pref on the topic: config page by default via the context menu
- Delete the logins.json file in the closed Firefox with Firefox profile folder
When you restart Firefox, then you should have the pref signon.importedFromSqlite with the value set to true and you should have the passwords into password manager, unless he could have errors.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: see file (Linux: open the directory;) Mac: View in the Finder)
You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue. -

How can I get the 'Remember password' guest view again after deleting a saved password before?
My username and password for my University site: https://www.bb.reading.ac.uk/ stopped appearing automatically, and the password only appeared when I typed in my user name. I couldn't bother to type the username each time, so I deleted the site in the thought of section "password saved..." "I would be invited to remember the password again. But it never came and can't seem to find a function that would allow me to remember a password for the site.
Some web sites, including many banks and a few other sites, tell browsers not not to remember passwords for visitors using autocomplete = "off".
What made this page, Firefox respects the coding of the web page of the author in the pages like that. This bookmarklet makes the browser ignore autocomplete = "off" temporarily, allows to save passwords even on sites that use autocomplete = "off".
Don't forget to bookmark password:
https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/forms.html#remember_passwordOr, you can use the extension of the editor of saved passwords for web sites where Firefox does not offer to save the/password Username.

How can I add a password to the list of saved password?
I know how to get to the list of saved password. I think it is not possible to add the password and site IDs. You only remove and remove all buttons. No Add button.
Maybe you would consider this for the next update.
Thank you
RichardThe Web site may use autocomplete = off to prevent Firefox to record the name and the password.
You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to register the name and the password of Firefox.- Saved password Editor: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/saved-password-editor/
