  Inside of your report of responses make sure you that your Date column has a filter that "is"get ".
  Create a dashboard and add the same Date column in the same catalogue presentation. Operator menu drop-down of the Date column, select "is between" and to the drop-down list control, select "calendar". Save the results.
  Add both on the same page of dashboard and the user will be able to select records between the dates of beginning and ending on the Date column prompted.

• I can create a text box so that it grows with the amount of text entered into it?  I don't see how a defined size.

  I have a form and am adding text boxes.  I want them to be able to grow with the amount of text entered by the user.  It is essentially to 'comments' on a form.  Most of the text boxes may only need a few words, and some may be 2 paragraphs.  It seems that I have to create a text box and give it a static size.  Is that what I am missing how?

  I can still see the 'Auto' as font size.

  If you want dynamic fields, then you must use LiveCycle or be prepared to do a lot of redesign of the form and coding.

I want to move this text box make a different location on the page of all these documents. Is it possible to do in bulk? I looked in the search/replace option, but could not find a way to do over there. I use CS6 if it matters.

  Just moved to CS5 to CC and to see that the text boxes are always short fixed width despite URLs always larger than the size of the content.

  At hope that they corrected it because it is really difficult to type manually or correct a URL in these boxes of short.

  Is there is way to be extended to a larger width of character?

  I get this icon when a link to a Word document. When I generate the table of contents shows it as a folder and in my project when I click it I don't get text to the right, only a drop down that is attached or the icon. Is it possible to have records or this icon to display the text when you click on it. I don't know if I say, but I don't want a bunch of items in the table of contents who do nothing else for the organizers. I tried to search the help documentation to see if it I'm missing something and can't find all the topics on this subject. I think I've seen on other sites where I can click on an element which will extend (what I call a folder), but when I do I not only get a list of other articles or topics of this region but also the text to the right in the body of the project.

  While I was writing this, you and Ben posted some good feedback. I'm going to go ahead and end my post in the hope of some enlightening for others who may be wondering.

  The word binding icon is new in RoboHelp with version 8 and many people are still getting the hang of it, so I'm glad you asked the question. As you have discovered, this green icon means that the Word document is linked and that is current at this point.

  One thing that is not obvious unless you "look under the hood" in Windows Explorer, is that the icon is a 'real' subfolder that was created automatically on your hard drive within the project folder structure.

  This new folder is automatically created with the same name as the Word document. When you click on 'generate'.htm content, this is the folder that will contain this content (and any files graphics or .css converting Word).

  If moving along, if you use the function "Automatically create the table of contents" to create your table of contents, the Word created folder will be treated as a "book" with all the subjects shown inside. (As you have discovered, you can work around it manually with drag and drop.)

  Within the project manager pod, the reason for which you do not have any what text view (or a topic display in the Design Editor), is that the Word folder is not a subject and therefore has no text. It is simply a container for topics inside.

  Now, if you don't like the idea of presenting the case up as a book in your table of contents (or an organizer like you said), you can simply move the topic (s) within the book to where you want and that you remove the icon of the 'book' in the table of contents Editor.

  Or, as rightly suggests Ben, you can also change the properties of a book is by the method he describes in his post a link to a topic of your choice.

  * Acrobat can't do MultiPage forms

  * Designer can do more powerful forms

  * Designer is now sold separately.

  Also be aware that the Forms Designer only show in Adobe software and others and cannot be used on portable devices more and most browsers.

  You cannot use PDF tools for folios of DPS. If you want a form, you need to write HTML and enter this amount as an overlay of web or HTML.

  I am using Captivate 4. I would like to have a checkbox (as you get in a quiz) 'ticked off' once will display a button previously hidden. This button allows you to move to the next slide. It is a warning of type essentially a "I agree with... blah blah blah" until the user goes to a quiz.

  Is this possible. I've seen this used in other manufacturers SCORM!

  I tried to figure out how to get the type u to text in a text box automatically jump down to that underneath the text box area runs. I have some specific lines that I wish ppl in my PDF enter their information on. But I can't seem to manage get text, as executions of box of text box, to jump to the next line.

  That should be done with JavaScript in AcroForms. AcroForms don't have such a device built in. Dynamic form fields can be created by LiveCycle Designer, but it is an additional cost.

  Don't forget your footer items are marked as a footer element and that your text box is not.

  Right-click on the components and check or uncheck the footer element

  I have a dynamic text box called help_txt and I have some initial instructions in order to achieve the first text field with relevant information.

  The focus is already set at the beginning of the first text field, which has 2 characters maximum indicated. It is also a text entry field.

  The right answer for prCv1, which is the variable, is 01.

  If the user types 01, I want the following to happen:

  cursor automatically advances to the next text field, which is called groupNo1_txt and I want another message to display the correct information in the field of help_txt, such as the type in the next field.

  If the user does not type 01, I want the following to happen:

  cursor goes back to position 1 of the prCV1_txt text box and another message to display in the field help_txt, by mistake, please enter 01 in this area.

  Initially, I got the code to check if the user pressed the Tab key, but the error message for the 2nd text box automatically displays do not give the user the ability to type information in the second text field (groupNo1_txt).
