Can I link my 2 accounts of Firefox?

I have 2 Firefox accounts simply by chance. I had a long date on my computer and then when I got my Android phone I have accidentally created another. I tend to use the first account on my own personal computer but use the second account on my computer of the family, etc. I was hoping I'd be able to synchronize both accounts ergo having all all passwords and all bookmarks, but this doesn't seem to be the case. If I try to log on to another account I get a warning from Firefox asking if I really want to log in with a different account. Can you please help me deal with what warnings someone and how mix is possible? Thank you

It's just to warn you that you want to synchronize the local data with all other data of the other account. This has caused a few problems for the people.

    I just deleted the old account and then start a new one with new email. Your local copy of firefox have even all the news, and it is synchronized to the new account.

I browsed this forum of support for similar issues, and while other people have the same problem, no other threads have been solved yet. Several later versions of FF, it is far too long for this question still unresolved... Screen attached.

    I know where the Firefox Cookie Manager, and I have enabled all settings. I was even able to third party cookies (even though I shouldn't really because they are unnecessary). No difference. Screen attached.

    I looked into: config and looked up the word 'cookie' in names, but even this is useless to me since I am not a programmer and so ignorant of what mean really all of these parameters. Screen attached.

    You can use the same e-mail address and the same password, but different Mozilla Web sites and services use separate record and data connection; none are connected with other sites.

    Hello. Thanks for all the posts on this topic. I have the same problem, as described by the op. But, while I use Avast, I have NOT the add-on from Astromenda which has been mentioned. However, I have the SB installed toolbar, and it has been recently updated, 29/12. I suspect that it is the culprit, if this problem is in fact not caused by an update of Firefox (my tiles have recently been reset on new tabs, and I suspect that Firefox for this problem).

    I am ready to remove the toolbar from the SB, but prefer to keep it (Yes, I admit I'm stupid) If this annoying 'new window = 2 tabs with 'new tab' at the top' would just leave.

    Apart from the removal of the toolbar SB... does anyone have suggestions? I don't see that all recently added add-ons/extensions that I don't recognize, apart from the update of the toolbar of SB.

    Updated: 5 minutes after this announcement, I disabled the toolbar of SB and restarted Firefox. No change.

    Since this thing 'Windows Live' has been implemented, (ie: pushed to the bottom of the throat), got hurt continually access to my hotmail account using Firefox as your browser, until, from the past week or so can not access at ALL, unless I use IE. Everytime I turn on my laptop, I get the 'Windows Live Mssgr' box and must stop and that close. (Oh, I tried a few time just "go with the flow" and went forward and connected to Live Mssgr, and I was immediately HARASSED by dozens of 'contacts' I had NEVER heard of and had to spend the 5 minutes following or so playing whack-a-mole with the hordes of spamming, until the only way to stop him stopping once again.) I am NOT interested in LiveMssgr, Windows Live, or one of that truck, is what I'm interested to have access to my hotmail account, using ANY BROWSER, I JUDGE GOOD of USE!  I have already written on this time, but I was told I was in the wrong section, and I had to go in this section. (And of course, some worker drone MS came and he labeled as being "CORRECTLY answered"). WHY can I access is no longer my email using ANY other browser except IE; and WHY does microsoft keep pushing constantly to be the largest and most greedy aggressor on the block? .... Anyone? .... Bueller?
