can I put a nvidia gtx 560 in my p6590d with a motherboard ms-716(iona-gl8e)?

I want to know if the card is compatible and will be able to fit in envelope. The GPU is an Asus Engtx 560 Direct CU card.

Luis,

This card is of 9.8 "long. You must measure, see:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware/Guide-for-Selecting-a-Discrete-Video-Card/td-p/1299011

Need a new power supply, the minimum grade of 450W. I suggest a 500W-530W, Corsair and Rosewill.

I have an Inspiron 580.  I installed an EVGA NVIDIA GTX 560 2 GB 02 G-P3-1469, Windows device ID 1201.  It is correctly installed in the PCI 16 x slot.  I installed a 750 Watt PSU. (2) power of the power supply cords are properly connected to the video card. The video output line is properly connected to the monitor (double entry). The fan on the card.

I made many attempts to install drivers for this card by using the method of 'DRIVE '.  The best result I got so far is "driver does not support this version of windows. I have Windows 7 64 bit.  I used the drivers for Windows 7 64 bit.

If there is a registry or WMI configuration problem that will allow me to install the current NVIDIA drivers, let me know.

If there is an upgrade of the BIOS that is specific to the installation of an auxiliary graphics card, let me know.

I spent 11 months chasing this problem. I am incredibly lucky that I didn't not turn my computer into a brick. I figured this out little about directly or indirectly by a trail of crumbs independent on the internet. In the process. The solution is.  By this, I mean that there was a communication failure. On the Dell Inspiron 580, and I'm sure that this applies to the other Dell with FRIEND bios, there is no access to the graphics card setting. Make sure that you have properly installed the card in the PCI - X slot, you have a 650 Watt or improving the power of food and hung properly power cables that the card may need.

All that being said, it's what works:

    1. click on the button 'start '.

    2. Select the "Computer" entry with the right button of the mouse to select 'manage '.

    3. Select "Device Manager" in the list "system tools."

4 expand the list 'graphics cards.

    5. right click on the name of the adapter

    6. Select 'disable' and ignore the complaints of the OS.

    7. shut down the computer.

    8. INCREDIBLY, RIDICULOUSLY IMPORTANT: Disconnect the cable from the integrated video connector. If you do not do this, the onboard video will automagically to reinstall its drivers when the system boots and you will lose your mind.

    8. disconnect the power cord from the computer and wait 30 seconds.

    9. start the computer. The first thing you see is NVIDIA card manufacturer ID.

    10. DO NOT PANIC! You will see a pop-up dialog box displaying messages on the currently installed drivers. It may take up to 10 minutes for the system to install the PCI, PCI Bridge, and other factors associated with the new graphics card.

  • Question of replacement for the 770-107 - nVidia GTX 560 defective m - Qosmio X

    Hi all
I know that this has been posted on here several times, I have a qosmio x 770-107 and the gfx card has overheated and needs a reball, nobody wants to do and reballers ebay cannot give any guarantee as mxm3.0b is pretty new to them and they have never reballed before.

Its a gtx 560 m that I walked is if I can get down the gfx card as im that it is difficult to find a gtx 560 m for less than £ 250/300 and is not worth paying that much, I can get a gtx 470/480 (of alienware) mxm3.0b and reading here says the bios is not compatible or problems there is also a quadro 3000 m / 4000 m or a mxm3.0 one gt540m , it seems that nobody seems to have replaced these cards only someone tried to put a gtx 670 m chipset different and new tech?

any help would be appreciated even if it's a qosmio x 500 forge the gfx card work of who? think they had a max of a gtx460m inside?

    Thank you simon.

I'm afraid of another and different GPU won't work properly m.
From my experience the BIOS will not load correctly this new device.

Of course, it's just a hypothesis because I've never tried this replacement of the GPU.
But according to a different suggestion to those who have tried to replace the laptop s GPU, especially its a compatibility issue between the GPU and the motherboard/BIOS card.

This is why problems GPU, it s not worth to replace only the GPU because the costs are huge.

  • P2416D, 2011 Nvidia GTX 560 Ti, HDMI, No 2560 x 1440?

    Hello

I just bought a Dell P2416D. I have plugged the cables, started the PC and everything works fine, but the higher 2560 x 1440 resolution can be achieved. I use an HDMI cable to connect the monitor and the GeForce GTX 560 Ti. I reinstalled the drivers for the graphics card but still same results. I checked once again specifications for my graphics card, and he says he accepts digital maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, then maybe it shouldn't be the problem. Can you provide me with more information on that?

    Thank you
    Bojan

For the 2011 GTX 560 Ti, you must use the Nvidia Control Panel to set up a custom resolution. See this and this. Or simply invest in a new video card with DP (DisplayPort) output port.

  • How can you put in place the first generation Airport Express with Yosemite

Is it still possible? If this is not the case, can itbee with an iPhone or an iPad?

    Athanasios

Are you sure that you have a 1st generation AirPort Express?

It was the 1st version of 802.11"n" products... and you will probably have a lot more older 802.11' b/g ' device that was used long before that Apple has started using the name of 'generation' in 2008.

Please look carefully at the side of your AirPort Express Terminal to locate the model number. It is difficult to see gray inscription on white background, so you may need good lighting and reading glasses.

The model of a 1st generation AirPort Express is A1264.

If you see A1084 or A1088, these are much older devices "b/g" which ranks Apple as obsolete... then they have not been supported for the past 3-4 years in the latest operating systems.

So again, you have... or can borrow... a Mac running Leopard (10.5.x) or operating system Snow Leopard (10.6.x) or a PC that has AirPort Utility for Windows installed on the device, you can administer the older devices, A1084 and A1088 like that.

  • Windows code error 43 GTX 560 M on Qosmio X 770/00 X

Guys, laptop is running using standard vga (i.e. the GTX 560 M disabled). I checked using GPU - Z and the version of the BIOS and other information is missing/white. Previously, it is filled with data (e.g. BIOS Version: 70.26.36.00.0A, etc...). This problem appeared after the laptop computer bluescreened playing LoL. After the reboot, the screen went black (i.e. after windows loads). After I restarted several times, login screen appears, but in vga mode. Check the display in Device Manager, it shows the code 43.

Does that mean that the GTX 560 M graphics card is damaged? Pleas help.

Update: Were that the nvidia GTX 560 M card is detected and the system is back to normal, but the problem is that "black screen" will happen after more than 5-10 minutes of operation. I constantly followed the CPU and the GPU temperature that fluctuates in the 60 ~ 70 degrees centigrade rank before 'black screen' will happen. Also, I tried to restore the laptop to its original configuration using backup images but screen remains black occurs. Have you tried upgrading the BIOS to the latest version in the Web from Toshiba site with the same result. Black screen usually occurs after the connection of Windows and if not, it will happen after some time later (i.e. more than 5 minutes).

    Guys, please help.

I have a desktop PC, HP Media Center m7260n, bought in 2006. At ran Upgrade Advisor: other than the need to do a clean install of Windows XP and an Aero compatibility issue, I respect the basic requirements. I have 5.5 GB of RAM installed, but it currently can only use about 3.5 GB of it. I know that I need a 64 bit OS to unlock the rest, but I clean up can I install an OS 64-bit on a machine with a motherboard ASUS P5LP - THE (HP/Compaq name: Lithium-UL8E)? I guess I am wondering if my computer's hardware is too old to install Windows 7 64 bit?

    Yes.

What CPU is installed in your PC? If it's a Pentium 4 Prescott or Pentium D, then it is 64-bit capable.

  • NVIDIA GTX 470 1.28 GB vs GTX 560 1.0 GB

I have a NVIDIA GTX 470 with 1.28 GB of memory (purchased but not installed) and an installed GTX 560 with 1 GB of memory.  From this date, I can return according to the seller.

I'm looking for advice about which of these cards, it would be better to use with first CS5.  Currently, I'm doing a lot of work with large image files.

I realize that I needed to 'hack' first to implement the EMT with the GTX560 but the map seems to be an improvement, if not not not quite significant, over the GTX 470.  Wikipedea says that ""graphics NVIDIA Geforce 500 Series cards are significantly altered versions of Nvidia GeForce 400 Series graphics cards, on the performance management plan and power.".  Wikipedea goes on to explain the improvements that I don't understand. On the other hand that the GTX 470 has about 25% of onboard memory which can be important, too.

    Any thoughts?  Thank you

It refers to the dimensions of the source.

    Hello

The 690 NVIDIA is only a 'chimera' at the moment.  We'll see what happens after the rumor launched as of April 28.

Open the Z1 HP if you have a look at available power connectors and also note the size of the power supply.  The Z800 with 875 watt POWER supply can operate according to the available power connectors.

  • nVidia Quadro K600 vs GTX 560

    Hi all!

I have repurposed my home office in a HP Elite minitour 8300 editing platform. He already had an i7 so I didn't hit the 16 GB RAM and replace the drive system with a shiny new fast 512 GB SSD at Transcend. Added 2 x 3 TB WD Black drives for storage. But now the video card... I can pay the PNY K600 with 1 GB or stretch the budget a little more and get a Palit GTX 560 it with 2 GB of RAM for $50

I know that this issue has been whipped to death between the Quadro cards and the game, but the new series of Qudro K - they change the playing field?

What card will give first and PhotoShop the most bang?

Thanks a lot for the pointers!

No doubt GTX 560 it is much faster, it has double the cores, memory, double the width of the memory bus and the bandwidth is about 4.5 times higher. Even the GTX 550 it is faster than the K600 Quadro, even if it is 50% cheaper.

Hi I was wondering if I could install a new graphics card in my HP laptop? My laptop is a HP 15-d051sa 15.6 "so you can search to the top on Google.

    My specs:

    RAM: 8 GB

    HARD DRIVE: 1 TB

    Processor: Intel (r) Pentium (r) CPU N3510 2 GHz (cache 2 MB)

    Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics

I think they have all the features that I need to talk to you guys to help me.

    -Zack thanks.

No, it can't be done. The video system is part of the motherboard and cannot be changed. Even if you have to change for the best HP 15 motherboard it has much less powerful than the 660 GTX graphics and motherboard Exchange would cost as much as the laptop did initially.
