Can I transfer my current copy of Windows 7 for my new PC?

In recent years, I have been using windows 7! its an amazing operating system and I sincerely love him.

However, I do a new customized version, pc this weekend and I wouldn't have to buy another copy of it as
You can guess that I have already invested quite abit in this computer.

I was wondering if it was possible for me to use the copy of windows 7 on my laptop today and transfer them to my new pc and change my
computer portable Ubuntu operating system (because of the argument)
I was wondering if this is possible and I appreciate your comments and or help! Thank you
Taylor.

If Windows 7 Home Premium came pre-installed on this laptop, the answer is no.

If it's a full retail version, then Yes, you can transfer it.

If it is a retail upgrade version, the computer you are transferring it must have previous qualifying operating system (XP, Vista) installed.
