Can I use CC on a moblie startup disk to go between the desktops.

I would take my stuff graphics and photography with me so I can work on it during periods of downs at work. Desktop computers are iMacs. Not ready to switch to a laptop again. So I was wondering if I could clone my HD, starting from an external and install CC. Then could I take the HD to work and to start from the outside and continue to use CC almost like having a laptop.

PS: still using CS5

You can not install the creative Cloud Desktop application on an external drive.  You could install creative cloud on both computers and use the synchronization feature to access the files on both computers.

Please see the FAQ section of this link: download and install apps Adobe Creative Cloud.

Although Adobe indicates that you install the application on the main drive, it is possible to change the destination of the installation of creative cloud app preferences. Please note that there will always be shared resources stored on your primary drive.  In addition, temporary files will be created on your main drive during the installation process. The Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application will remain on the default drive.

Synchronization of files:

You can synchronize files from your computer to creative cloud and access them from anywhere. The files are instantly available on your connected devices and computers and your Creative Cloud Files page. To synchronize files, download and install the desktop creative cloud application on all computers.

To synchronize files, do one of the following:

Copy, paste, or move files to a folder on your computer or the Creative Cloud Files directory.

You can open the creative Cloud Files directory or the file of the creative cloud desktop app by clicking the Active tab, and then the files Panel, and then Open the folder.

In an application, choose file > save or file > save under and navigate to the Creative Cloud Files directory or folder on your computer.

The original files are still on your computer or device. Files are synchronized via CC to all connected devices.

You can view your files online on the page creative resources of cloud. Once the files are synchronized, you don't need to be connected and you can view them in the designer Cloud Files directory or folder on your computer.

For more information on the use of the downloaded files to creative cloud, see files and manage Active.

You can activate it without a SIM card. If it is locked, it takes a SIM card by the carrier, for it is locked. The SIM card should not be linked to an active line of service, but it must be present to activate it.

  • Can I use my Windows 7 Edition recovery disks Home Premium for a clean install on my old Windows XP computer?

Hello world!  I hope someone can help.

Can I use my Windows 7 Edition recovery disks Home Premium for a clean install on my old Windows XP computer?

If this is a recovery from a different computer disk, you are unable to do so.

In addition, if you were to format the computer, you will need to have a way to reinstall a copy of Windows with a genuine license.

The best option if you need Windows 7 Home Premium is to buy a genuine license then you can make a custom (new installation).

    Hello

The PC can not be called as a 'router', but you can use Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to do this, BUT sometimes may not be good as good and simple as the use of a wireless router.

  • Can I use another PC Toshiba laptop with DVD/CD to install the software on NB200?

I'll keep with Toshiba and just got a laptop - NB200 - 11 H. Can I use the DVD/CD on another PC reader Toshiba laptop to connect with the new book of loading the software on CD? I have access to a series of Satellite P35 and a much older Satellite S2800-500.
Thank you very much for the thoughts and ideas - it seems exaggerated to buy an external DVD/CD drive.
    Kind regards
    Laurie

Yes! On the laptop with DVD/CD player 'Right click' on the DVD drive in "My Computer" and go to the properties and enable sharing. Make sure your 2 computers are on the same network. On the NB200 in the 'My Computer' in address bar type \\yourcomputersname(the one with the dvd), and then open the folder called example. "D" assuming that your dvd drive is the D drive.

    Hope this has helped.

No subgroup on the screws still share data space. If you limited the number of instance to a single (this delicate and requires the brain twist) you can use a template in a template, but once again, one instance in each model. If you restruture your code such that the shared sub - VI do not use SR or local storage (as a control not on the connector) you can keep all the specific instance stuff in the model and the PSA to the Sub screws.

newer is better and since you have Windows 7 (I guess that since you wrote), it is fully compatible.

Can I use the upgrade disk to update my new computer that came with Windows 7 Home Premium?

If yes how can I do and activate the new version?

Just use the key of Windows 7 Pro upgrade to your new computer via the "Anytime Upgrade" option. You may or may not need to re - activate by phone depending on how long the Windows 7 Pro key was not in use (see the end of my response to instructions on activation by telephone).

    = Upgrade Instructions =.

    To start the upgrade process:
Click on start/search and enter the words: Express upgrade
Then, in the list of the search results, click on "Windows Anytime Upgrade".
Then follow the prompts on the screen anytime upgrade.
Basically, all you need to do is enter the upgrade Windows 7 Professional product key.

    Alternative methods:

-Anytime Upgrade may not work for all versions of Windows-

Note: Retail 'Full' or 'Upgrade' product keys will work when you use the Express Upgrade feature.
Upgrade Express 'can' not work (check with the manufacturer of the computer support team) for users who have the OEM and integrators of systems product keys, this applies also to the VL (Volume License), keys (KMS) users management server should consult with your administrator before attempting to perform an Express upgrade. • can I use a serial key to install two windows 8 in the same system

If I double boot windows 8 on the same system. for activation, I use the same key for the two installation.
    is this possible?

    Hello

Windows 8 comes with only on product key (license) that can be activated on a computer at the same time. If you want to enable another computer with him, then he must be uninstalled from any other computer first.
The fact above, as I know, the installed on another partition of Windows 8 will become the second computer and unfortunately you can not use the same key.
Hope this helps, good luck :)
  • * Creating Cloud * [can I use two different applications of cloud on different computers at the same time for example Photoshop on one and on another InDesign?]

So I know that you can have creative cloud up to two computer and its not of platform specific, so you can have it on a Mac and the Windows platform at the same time. BUUUT I know that you can not use them simutaniously, but which still apply to the when im I need to work on photoshop on only one computer and indesign on another who would always use them at the same time so he would evict me? or can be used on two different programs at the same time?

Always there was confusion on this issue.

Adobe said yes in 2012 and 2014.

Running different applications - 2 computers, a single license

Contradictory information on the simultaneous use of CC.

Don't know the current position of Adobe.

The amount of the fine to have both versions installed on your computer. CS6 version can coexist with a CC version without causing any problems.

  • Windows 7 - How can I get rid of an "All Control Panel items" icon on the desktop?

Only, I've migrated to Vista Ultimate x 64 to Windows 7 Professional x 64.  I used Laplink to move all my users, programs, and settings.  Everything is great, except now there is an icon on the desktop for all my users that I can't get rid of - it connects to the control panel and is called "All Control Panel items" - it cannot be deleted or moved to the Recycle Bin. Make a right click on it brings up a menu with 'open' and 'create a shortcut' by dragging it to the trash does not delete it.

If I am right cick on the desktop and add Control Panel to the items displayed on the desktop, a second control Panel icon appears with the same picture, but the text is just 'control panel '.

I don't know there is a registry key that I have to remove or adjust but after a lot of research can't find anything.

Open the Publisher of the registry (Regedit.exe) and navigate to:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace]

Backup the key by exporting to a REG file.

Expand the branch above and delete the following subkey:

    {21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
(The above is the GUID for "All Control Panel items" Namespace)

Similarly, to remove the entry here (if found)

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace]
