    As I said, this has nothing to do with the forms. If you do not access forms using SSO, then by calling BI Pub in the same browser session, the new browser window would contain the same SSO session details and allow authentication even to use IF the app (Pub BI) is configured to use SINGLE sign-on and is compatible with the SSO version you use. If this does not work, then you must remove the forms of your tests and try to run a report without Forms. Call him directly and see if it displays the same SSO login screen. If so, can identify you? If it does not display the same SSO login or you cannot access the report then the problem is in SSO or BI Pub. Make sure that you access the same SSO server that uses Forms.

    Any suggestion will be in simple step by step instructions.because I am an old companions and not very quick on the uptake of these days...

    Tony, you CAN certainly fill in most forms using your computer and your printer - there are several different ways.

    The easiest way is if you can get a form ' to fill' one who requests the information.  For example, several forms of Government are available in PDF format that you can load on your computer, fill out the form and print the completed form.

    If you can get a copy of the form that is designed to be completed on a computer it is still possible to complete the form on your computer, but it can be much more complicated.

    If you can get a copy of the form computer, then the next most simple is simply type the form on your computer.  This works well enough for such simple forms of medical questionnaires that have been created in a word processor.  If the blank form is just plain text with lines for you to write your answers, it is often too hard to just retype the form into your word processor.  You may need to experiment with the police and the font size to make your form to resemble the original, but it is not too difficult if the original form is quite simple and you are experienced using your word processor.

    The most difficult is to create your answers in a word processor and print them to the new form.  The problem with this method is trying to align your answers with the spaces in the original formula.  At the time of the former format WordPerfect or other serious word processor for DOS software, it has been possible to pinpoint where text will be printed.  With some word processors Windows modern, it is easy to see about what will look like printed text, but it is almost impossible to place accurately exactly where each part of the text of a document will print.  Today, it is convenient only for forms that have large spaces for your answers and your answers are much smaller than the space provided.

    A method that can work well in text of Windows is to type your answers as text superimposed over a graphic (picture) of the form.  In general, you need a scanned image size of the form, you need to insert the image of the form as a background image in the word processing document, and then type your responses so that they are correctly positioned on the form image.

    Finally, it may be possible to talk with people who need the form to see if you can just provide all the answers, printed from your computer so they can be include the print form or someone to enter your answers into the form for you.

    Keep in mind, that if you have a physical or mental disability which, like poor vision, shaking hands or arthritis of the hands that you can fill out a form, and then the Government agency or of activities that requires that the form has a legal obligation under the Americans With Disabilities Act for you provide all the necessary assistance or accommodation.  For example, they can have someone read you each part of the form and then write in your answers. All you would have to say your answers and then sign the completed form.

    First of all, you should try to ask politely to get a copy of the form you can fill out on your computer or some other reasonable accommodation - if they say there of nothing they can do to help you, try politely reminding them of their obligations under the Americans With Disabilities Act - if this still fails, check with your city government or State to find the office that handles the issues for people with disabilities.  You can't exactly help you prefer, but you will get assistance to solve the problem.

  • can I use the same product key for a gradient win 7 I'm ready to move from xp to win 7

    I bought a 7500 in 2010 precision workstation which came with win 7, but I asked to be demoted to xp. I'm ready to install the Windows 7 OS on the cd supplied with my system, original but I'm not sure if I need a new product key or can I use the same product key that has been activated as an OS xp to win 7 OS?

    The Dell Windows 7 reinstallation DVD will use the system locked preinstallation seizes only a generic Dell locked preinstallation key system which will automatically active if and only a valid Dell BIOS is detected. The same for the XP reinstallation CD.

    The COA affixed to the system must be Windows 7 Professional and must have a unique 25-digit product key for Windows 7 Professional. There is not need to be entered in the system locked preinstallation is used.

  • the rest of the device used to "ready boost" can be used as a storage

    the rest of the device used to "ready boost" can be used as a storage

    Hi Sam,

    You cannot use the available space on the Flash DRIVE or flash memory card in your computer that is used for ReadyBoost.

    ReadyBoost to effectively speed up your computer, the flash drive or memory card should have at least 1 gigabyte (GB) of available space. If your drive or the card doesn't have enough available space for ReadyBoost, you'll see a message telling you to free space on this subject. For best results, use a Flash DRIVE or flash memory card with at least double the amount of available space as the amount of memory (live RAM) on your computer.

    For more information about ReadyBoost, see this article:

    ReadyBoost (valid also for Windows 8)

    I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows, let us know and will be happy to help you.

  • How can I use an external HTML form with a file upload in my page of MUSE?

    How can I use an external HTML form with a file upload in my page of MUSE? I know I can insert an external form, but how do I create a link to my email

    Yes, in most cases. If it is not in your actual embed code, you will need to be added to the script that uses the code. There are literally hundreds of form manages the codes out there on the web, it would be impossible to tell you exactly where it needs to be added. Your best option is to use a third party such as JotForms or WooForms shape provider and use the third Muse Widgets for these services.

  • can I use Adobe form with my Amazon fire phone?

    I have a phone Amazon Fire. It is not an Iphone and I have no idea if it uses an Android system.  Can I use Adobe form?

    Kathy

    I do not have access to your device, but I am sure that there is an Amazon App store.  You should try to get him there.  (I tried to get myself from a web browser and not able to retrieve the results.)

    If the phone runs Android then you will be able to use it because it is available on both platforms, although not all Adobe applications are available outside the iOS for applications that are mobile.

    WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('http://www.oracle.com','_blank');

    The url can be dynamically generated from your code by replacing it with variables.

    WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('http://myServer/someApp?' || myParameter || '=' || myParamaterValue,'_blank');

  • APEX_ITEM can be used to generate a form page?

    Hello

    I would use APEX_ITEM to generate in APEX 4.0 a form region at run time, based on metadata tables that describe the columns, the labels, the types of data etc...

    It seems that people use APEX_ITEM for production as an update and I'm starting to question my original concept. I created a region of anonymous PL/SQL block, which contains the following code segment:

    () HTP.p
    APEX_ITEM. SELECT_LIST)
    3,
    « Y »,
    ' Yes; Y, no.; NO,.
    « Y »,
    '',
    '',
    "readonly = readonly',"
    "P1_MARRIED,"
    'Mary '.
    )
    );

    When I run my form and click my link of "Session" at the botom of the page, the item of P1_MARRIED would not appear in the list of elements on the page. Am I missing something, or this concept to "Generate a form region to the execution" is based on my missunderstanding of APEX_ITEM API?

    Best regards, Tamas

    When I run my form and click my link of "Session" at the botom of the page, the item of P1_MARRIED would not appear in the list of elements on the page. Am I missing something, or this concept to "Generate a form region to the execution" is based on my missunderstanding of APEX_ITEM API?

    It is not possible to dynamically generate page APEX elements.

    apex_item API methods can be used in reports and PL/SQL areas to render the controls on the page, but these do not exist as part of the page. These controls to submit their values in a different way, using associative arrays, defined in the apex_application and validation package and their treatment is different from the page elements. See tables referring to the QAnywhere APEX for more information on how to access the values of the objects created using the apex_item methods. These values in table not stored permanently in session state in the same way as page elements and are therefore not available in the State of Session pop up.

    The parameter p_item_id in apex_item API methods generates an attribute ID idHTML to CSS, jQuery, or DOM selector in the rendered page. It doesn't help (and cannot be referenced or accessed) on the server side.

    In short: Yes, apex_item peut be used to generate a form page, but the result is not a form page with page APEX elements.
