Can LabVIEW pickup where it left off?

When you start a new session of LabVIEW, the program always start default values of controls and indicators. The default values can be changed to edit-> are lacking from current values.

Can LabVIEW automatically the time of i.e.every the program is closed it peaks to the top of the last value of the order and indicators?

Or should it be done by program i.e. record in a binary file, etc.. ?

Thank you

  • CP 4 and IE - is remembered where I left off?

    Hello

I use CP4 and created a project that we have published on Flash SWF (HTML export) and the files downloaded on our intranet site (not LMS).

The issue I'm having is that the finished module seems to be caching the last place I left - I don't actually want to do this. I use IE, and I'm not editing with the output parameters of the e-learning market.

Is there anyway to make CP not to pick up where I left off last? I would like the user to start from the beginning, every time they click on our intranet link to the swf CP.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

    See you soon,.

    Hello Deborah,

Maybe use the table of contents? Because it has a "Paced Learning" framework. If this feature is enabled, the place leaving is bookmark.

Given that you do not declare the results of the Quiz, it cannot be never 'send resume data' must be activated?

  • Firefox Will not start with the home page. Continues to set up where I left off whenever I start firefox

Firefox keeps opeing where I left instead to start with my home page. I use the latest firefox with windows8. Dosen't happen with windows7. This has happened with the last update.

Replacing the pref.js didn't fix the problem, I just do a default reset firefox and that solved the problem.

There should be a plug-in for Windows Media Player do an Auto RESUME, but it will be 3rd party. It isn't there natively.

  • Back to where I left off?

This seems to be a very basic feature, and I'm sure it exists, but I don't know how to implement. How can I get the player to return to the point where I was before I closed the document? In other words, if I read page 27, and then close the document, how can I get the player to return to page 27, when I reopen it the same document.

Check the box Edition - Preferences - Documents - last restore display settings when reopening documents.

  • How to pick up where I left off?

Is there a way to have Adobe Reader to open a document at the place where I closed it last?  I have read often long technical documentation during several sessions and it ' has a royal PITA to have to manually save or remember what I've been up to the last time in each document page.

I know that I could add a sticky note until I close the file every time, but I would much prefer an automatic resume function.

I'm really very surprised that this basic functionality is missing from the product - have I forgotten something really obvious?

  • How to play previous playlist where I left the reopening of Media Player 12

    Hello

I have recently started using the media payer 12 and I'm a hard time using a former feature of previous versions of the player.  Basically, I tend to create great playlists... so great that it is no way I would be able to listen to all of this in one sitting.  With older versions, I used to be able to hit Stop, close Media Player, and then every time that I reopen it and press Play, he'd pick right back up where I left.  With 12 players, when I try this, either brings me to a random playlist (if made from the now playing screen) or it restarts from the beginning of the playlist (from the library screen).  Someone knows how to make it work again?

    Hello

There is no option in Windows media player 12 to resume playback where you left off, after the closure of the media player.

However, I will propose you to pause the audio you play and then lock the computer if you do not use or else you can also continue to work on the computer after pausing the audio. Whenever you want to listen to the audio from where you paused just click on the 'play' button.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Stop a video of quiz and then have it remember where you left it when you restart

Is it possible for a user with videos of a quiz on LMS, start a video, pause, or stop, she and then return to the video at a later date and it resumes where it left off?

I don't think so... I can't see even a way to stop a video and then open it again and have me remember where I left, so I don't think it will work that way in LMS.

    More details:

The video is about 100 slides and 10 quiz. The user must achieve 80% to pass this course. If the user connects to PeopleSoft, gets the list of course, concludes this particular course and starts the application. It takes about 30 minutes to complete this course. BUT after about 10 minutes, the user is called away.

What society would like to happen... when the user is called away, perahps they stop the video, sign out of PeopleSoft. It could be hours or it could be another day before the user returns in PeopleSoft, concludes the course and... when the course opens, he remembers that the user left on Blade X, possibly already answered x number of questions, and now it picks up right where it left off.

I've not found an option for this, and I was not able to make it work when I have a stand-alone project. But... I thought I'd ask anyway.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks for any help.

    Bernice

Bérénice, what you ask is called BOOKMARKING and this is a feature common to many e-learning courses.  What happens under the hood is that the lesson of Captivate sends (known as resume data) data for the LMS of bookmark which slide in the quiz that the user got up to.  If the LMS supports this feature (most, but some do not, or do not do very well) then it records the information so that if the person taking the course ends their session and later returned to the same module, the LMS will fuel the bookmarking data back to the lesson, he throws, and the lesson is supposed to go directly to the slide where the user has left the last time.

That's what's SUPPOSED to happen.  Whether or not it works as expected is another matter.  There are many potential problems.

If you want to see if your LMS supports this feature, you just need to make sure that the checkbox to never send the CV data in the dialog box customization of LMS is left UNTICKED.

Then republish your courses SCORM, reupload to your LMS and test it by starting a lesson, close and restart again.

  • Captivate 5.5 project automatically from there where I left

    Hello

I don't know if there is a chance, but I published a project that seems open here where I did (using a Flash Player or IE). I saw a window that asked if I wanted to he open up where I left off last (it seemed integrated in the project which I do not remember doing) and I chose that I wanted it and don't ask me again. The problem is I can't open here where I finally left - but I've not seen this window since.

When I published this project before, I have never seen this window and never had this problem. Did not know choose something between yesterday and today to make this project to publish this way? I changed the preloader, but I removed that since... tried republication inside and the same problem occurs with the project. Ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Two possibilities, perhaps due to the parameters of the LMS, but I do not know if you post on an LMS?

Second: Check the settings in the table of contents (even if you did not use it), maybe to self-paced learning is enabled. This allows to store a cookie that acts as a bookmark and you will get the message that you have described. Uncheck this option and try again.
