Unfortunately, you can not claim to install an upgraded version of Windows Vista on a hard drive Virgin.  I suggest you consider buying from an edition of the "Full Version" of Windows 7, such as Windows 7 Edition Home Premium.

  • Deinstitutionalized drive, my computer can not find the music stored on the internal drive

I was recently released from the balance of PAYMENTS (Bureau of Prisons), and I gladly paid $25 for the reader deinstitutionalized. I got it in the mail and I am very happy with the improvements, however, when I plug it into the computer, the computer cannot find the music that I invested a lot of money.  The drive works fine.  I can listen to all the songs that are on it, but I can't find them with all software, including the software downloaded from Sansa. When I click on the player, in any program/browser, I get the same thing: the folders that are empty.  It saves space, but sees ALL files.  Many of the albums available at the bottom of the PYRAMID were incomplete and I want to "fill the gaps", but can not find the whites to fill.  Any help would be wonderful.  I paid my $95 (for the player AND have unlocked it) MORE about $1400 in the songs, so it's a pretty big deal for me to get access... Thanks in advance.

My guess is, it is a question of USB MSC - MTP mode.

Your drive may be connected to your computer in the title of one of the 2 separate USB MSC or MTP modes.  This is located under settings of the player.  (There is a 3rd option it, auto-detection, trying to connect under MTP mode but then fold in MSC mode, if necessary.)  Is the reason why it's important, files transferred to the Clip under a mode USB can only be seen by your computer when the computer is under this same mode.  And so, for example, if the songs are put on the player mode USB MSC, if you connect later under MTP mode, the computer will not see these files.  If you have set the player to one of the USB modes and always use this mode (MSC mode is the least problematic, in virtue of which the player is considered to be a USB key; however, MTP mode is necessary for files protected by DRM), you're fine.  If, however, you change mode, emits a "invisibility".  And if you're ready auto detection, the computer can change the modes on you without you knowing.

And thus, better Board: turn on the player (recommended) MSC or MTP mode and stay there and stay away auto detection setting.

And if you have been on a mode but want to switch to the other and to be able to see all of your files on your computer, set the player to the previous mode, transfer your music to your computer and delete them from the player, re - set the player to new USB mode and transfer the songs back.

  • Re: How can I add a second internal hard drive to a Satellite Pro P200?

I have a Satellite Pro P200 with a single internal hard drive. There is a second Bay in the computer of another internal hard drive, but I couldn't find any information about it. There is enough space for a 2.5 "SATA but I do not see a connector.

I contacted Toshiba Dutch customer service who said that it was official policy not to provide any information on a second internal drive. They also said that they would not provide parts to make it possible.

    Can anyone provide more information?

    Hello!

I think that if there is no connector you cannot add a second HDD.
It of Nice to have a second Bay, but it's nothing without a connector.

    Good bye

  • Add the second hard drive for HP Pavilion dv7-3173nr

So rumor is my DV7 may take a second hard drive.

So I got a second drive, open the bottom where the reader will, and there is no SATA connector. Apparently I need a shopping cart or something, but I can't. Am I missing something obvious?

    Thank you.

Yes you need a shopping cart and a connector. The interface is not a standard SATA plug... There is a cable that connects the SATA drive in a small plug in the second Bay.

  • Series Edge (E) internal second hard drive

I was wondering if users of portable Edge series or E are using / used a second internal drive?

Officially, their sales staff, in this series of laptops feature to replace the optical drive with a hard disk has been removed. Their tech staff said when I asked. There is no official Lenovo adapter for E series, but some are available spare parts. Is that what someone has successfully used a Lenovo HD adapter in their E series? What the aftermarket ones? What were your experiences?

Side note: I doubt that the feature has been removed. Optical and hard drives are same. Because it's an entry-level computer, it would cost more to remove the option rather than maintain and publicly asserting that it does not work.

I doubt that they will remove the possibility of using optical drive SATA for HDD device connector. There is also the slot m2 you can use a SSD NGFF. I used 3 internal hard drive on my ThinkPad E520 and E530.

  • Setting up the second hard drive preinstalled

I have a Pavilion m9250f equipped of Windows Vista 64-bit with two 500 GB hard drives.  The first hard disk is almost at capacity (available 15%), and I want to know how to set up the second disc for use.

    Hello

The SATA controller mode setting is in the bios. F10 will get you into the bios. Back up your data before attempting to make any changes.  If you use the RAID mode then then you will need to enter the Intel RAID CTRL + I utility at startup to disable the parring.  RAID 1 is extra protection in case you have a hard drive failure.  If you disable the RAID 1 parring so be sure to perform backups at a frequency you can live if you experience a hard drive failure.  When the RAID 1 parring is disabled, then the second hard drive will be available for data storage (more than 500GB).  If get you there, then you can do a quick format on the second hard drive.  Now you should be able to move the folders you want to the second hard drive.

  • Installation of windows on second internal SSD iMac

I had problems to achieve this:

    1. I have the ISO for windows 10.

    2. follow the guests in boot camp

3 choose the second internal drive, which is not the startup disk.

4 wipe the drive and create a single partition for windows.

Why this error occurs? It seams that bootcamp has provided the ability to do this?

Would it be a bad ISO file?

What is a problem is not the boot disk?

    Thank you

I asked the moderators to pass this message to the space of discussion of Boot Camp.

  • iPhone iOS 5 + 10: press the button to unlock home takes 5 seconds to unlock the device

    Hello!

Yesterday, I did the update to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5.

Now, it takes 5 seconds to unlock my iPhone 5 after pressing the home button. It is average for a long time! Everyone even experiences?

    Thank you!

    martin_777

It is normal for the old model of the iPhone 5. in any case, you can try to reset your device and check if it helps.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • My site optimized (22-59K) uses a grid for layout system. It takes 10 + seconds in Firefox 7,8,9 to load, other browsers need less than 1 second. Y at - it other that to use a 2-column layout, some recommended grid with which Firefox gets along?

Someone commented ago about 9 weeks for my site to load very slowly. I tried and had no problem.

But a few days ago, I realized that the first call (after rebooting the system) in Firefox 7, 8 and 9 of Firefox Firefox takes 10 + seconds (white screen) while other browsers have need of about 1 second. After the initial call each page loads faster than in other browsers.

Without content management system, I got the same results. In simply removing things from the grid of my stylesheet, pages loading less than a second. I tried other grids http://cssgrid.net/, http://www.webdesignerwall.com/demo/simpler-grid/940grid.html , but had the same number.

  • DAQmxClearTask of output channel takes 20 seconds

I create a task for the analog output.

I stop the task and delete it using DAQmxClearTask.

The call to DAQmxClearTask takes 20 seconds. On other systems I use the same call takes less than a second.

    My driver version is: 9.7.5

I work under windows 32 bit, visual studio 2013.

    Thank you

    Yoav Pinsky

    Hi Yoav,

Have you tried using NI Trace of IO to help diagnose the problem? This tool can give you a sense of whether any involuntary or repeated call is made. You can find this tool in the menu start > all programs > National Instruments. Once the with tools open just to start the trace with the green arrow, run your code, and then stop the trace.

In addition, you can find this post on the forum useful.

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/PXI/why-does-it-take-so-long-to-clear-a-task-with-DMA-transfer-using/m-p/237...

In this case, the problem was due to driver and device conflicts. You can reinstall the DAQmx driver if you haven't tried that already.

  • T450s startup takes 35 seconds before displaying the splash screen. (wake up 11sec)

    The following are my problems:

    1. when starting the machine, it takes about 35 seconds before the first activity screen (screen of Lenovo). After that, it starts normal.
    2. when waking off mode 'sleep', it takes 11 seconds before I see directed power stop to 'breathe' and wake up the screen.

It feels like it is a hardware/bios on the issue, as (so far I know) hdd/ssd is accessible only after the bios has loaded and completed its audits of material. When you paste into a bootable usb it starts only flicker after the bios was loaded on the screen.

    Question:
Anyone have an idea why my laptop waiting so long to start or wake? I don't mind wait a bit, but in 35 seconds + startup time normal is really boring. Especially with the fact that the laptop shows no sign of life for 35 seconds after ignition briefly the backlight on the keyboard. Alarm delay is also very annoying since even my 7 year old laptop BSOD to wake up faster, and I use a lot "sleep" mode.

    Some origins I think about:
-Verification of the material during the initial start-up of equipment does not yet recognize a dedicated GPU card. (POST: Power On Self Test)
-I don't think it's a problem with my software because the problems occurs before any media playback.

    I already tried things:
    -Reset the bios.
    -Start in legacy mode.
    -Update the bios
-rebuild MBR (although I think that's the problem.)
(- Refreshing installation of windows, even if I do not expect that's the problem.)

This problem was already at the beginning (with origenal material):
From the first time I started the laptop (with HARD drive), I noticed that it took a long time to start. I remember repeatedly pressing the button ON / OFF and think I did something wrong, when all of a sudden the 'Lenovo' screen appears.

I hope someone can help me!

    My problems were solved!

An engineer contacted me that they received a mainboard replacement and they wanted to make an appointment. I gave them the address where I worked the next day because I'm very mobile, and an engineer came by the next day. It appeared to be a qualified IBM engineer and test my machine and came to the same conclusion as me. He then did some tests to see if the problem was caused by something else, then the motherboard but eventually replace my motherboard with good care.

After the replacement of the startup time and wake up was normal as it should be. I'm very happy with the service that Lenovo ThinkPad gave me.

I have to add that when I called for the support that I got someone on the line who couldn't really understand me, neighter, Dutch or English. But it was also duo a bad connection, it seemed to me... But after that call I really didn't expect that it would come to a good end. I then really suppriced isn't 5 days later a Dutch engineer Chief called me for an appointment.

also, you want to add a good graphics card would you recommend?
RAM memory is installed samsung 1 GB DDR2 800 Mhz... I can install an another 2 GB for example, but another brand?
    I hope your answer...

    Thank you...

    Hi leocule!

The GeForce 210 is a good card - however, it requires a minimum of 300 watts. See here for the technical specifications of nvidia. To be honest, almost all the cards would require probably upgraded you your power supply!

Better news on the processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 is a Socket 775 processor and will agree and will work in your motherboard OK.

    I hope this helps!

  • Acer Veriton N2620G/disconnect keyboard issue

We set up recently a few new Acer Veriton N2620G thin clients in our call center.  After you have configured an ICA connection, we discovered that if a user presses NumLock and Caps Lock, it disconnects the session... This can happen at any time... login screen, after that they were recorded in during some time... at any time.  We are able to reproduce this on all of our new Acer Veriton N2620G thin clients.  All our thin clients from Wyse existing work perfectly.  We used existing keyboards, we used the keyboards that accompanies the new Acer... same problem.  We configure RDP connections as a test and these function normally... they do NOT disconnect.

I chatted with the support of DeTOS (OS on the thin client) and their level 1 is zero help.  They tried to transfer me to level 2, but I received a message that they are not open at this time...

    Light client info below:

    Acer Veriton N2620G

    BIOS version 2.15.1229

    Operating system: DeTOS 7.2.2 20130702

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, it was a problem with the version of Citrix ICA Receiver.  Assistance provided an update to the ICA client and he resovled question.
