Can not activate Adobe flash; "always enable" is not an option

Last night, I was running a program and everything was fine. I logged in, and it would not load. He said 'enable Adobe Flash', but when I clicked on the link, it wouldn't go anywhere. I have advanced and update of Flash, closed the browser and reopened. Does not solve the problem. I found the add-on on the Tools menu, but the only option that is not dimmed is never 'enable '. This also happened on my work computer today. Some sites offered the drop down box to activate it, but I want to use (fine, it's Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook) it will NOT. I even added the extension to offer to ask or not to use Flash. Please help me. This becomes annoys me to have to use Chrome. BTW, my computer is Windows 7 and my work is Vista. I've never had this problem before.

Adobe has released an update early today to solve critical problems, he admitted were in the 18.0.0.203 version. You can get 18.0.0.209 on this page:

https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

In the first table, find the row corresponding to "browser plugin", and you can use either the EXE or the MSI installer.

To ensure that the update may erase the old version, either out of Firefox when running the update, or close all tabs that use Flash.

For future use, when Flash is set to "Ask to activate" and you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

Games flash on Facebook usually is framed from the Publisher's site, so maybe that confused Firefox?

If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the Lego-like icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can choose to allow for a while or allow permanently.

But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification. It will just sit there in case you later want.
