Can not add mail account. El Capitan, MacBook Air

Buon Giorno.

I tried several times to add my comcast email account. I entered the account email and password... the message is "this account already exists."  Previously, I have deleted this account by the comcast tech as internet or mail worked. Now I can not add back. Can someone help me?

Thank you

Christina

Assuming that you were trying to add the account to aid System Preferences > accounts Internet, you will need to do is add the account using the Mail menu > Preferences... Accounts. Get all the relevant information about your Comcast of Comcast e-mail settings. The following may also help: https://www.apple.com/support/mail-settings-lookup/
