  • In CC 2015.4 I can not find my trusty option 'New Destination of the hyperlink'

    Hello

    Please see the screenshot below.

The updating of CC 2015.4, suddenly the option 'New Destination of the hyperlink' which appears in my context menu under "Interactive" simply disappeared. In general, I surligner highlight the text in the frame, then right-click on it to reveal the menu, then scroll to the "Interactive" submenu and select 'New Destination of the hyperlink' (see the part CS6 2014 screen captures below). I do then highlight a text anchor Tech. Finally, I select other text in the document and make a hyperlink to anchor text, I just created. I now spent 90 minutes in the options of CC 2015.4 trying to find these (or new?) to create a new destination for the hyperlink (a text anchor), with no chance inside the app (even impossible to find another way to do it) and no luck on online forums. Anyone can solve this for me?

    Thank you

It is in the hyperlinks Panel menu. It is in the Panel menu cross-references.

It is missing from the context menu (someone forgot it?)

You can add a keyboard shortcut: Edit > keyboard shortcuts > product area: Panel Menus > links: New Destination of the hyperlink.

    It will not disappear.

    Hi JoeNed,

I see that you have some problems with the display tab in windows Explorer. I'll help you with this problem.

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. what security software is installed on the computer?

    3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    Method 1.

Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.

Advanced startup options (including safe mode): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Method 2.

Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft safety scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Warning of Security Scanner: there could be a loss of data while performing an analysis using the Microsoft safety scanner to eliminate viruses as appropriate.

    Method 3.

I suggest that you can exercise SFC scan and check if that helps. The SFC/SCANNOW command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

For more information how to make SFC / scan, please follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 4.

You can try to restore the computer to a date earlier and check.

Important: System Restore will return all system files not as documents, email, music, etc., to a previous state. These files of types are completely affected by the restoration of the system. If it was your intention with this tool to recover a deleted file to non-system, try using a file instead of system restore recovery program.

I would like to create a new user account and check if that helps.

    Create a user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Create-a-user-account

If the problem does not occur in the new user account, you can transfer the files from the damaged to the new user account by using the article user account "difficulty a user profile is corrupted.

  • Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there

Windows XP sp3 can not find a file that I know is there. I even copied the file to the desktop, but research still cannot find the file. He may not get indexed. But on a search for *.mp3, it will include this file. I've searched all files and folders, file name or name part and content, but the search is empty.

The reason why I asked is that this *.mp3 IS a 'partial file name.

If the file is an MP3 file (music), I doubt if you could ever find by searching for "contained in the file," then relevant chess is why it was not found using the complete file name or part of the name.

If the file is not hidden, the only other thing I can think is that there is some special characters in the name of the file that is not obvious when you look at it.

For example, there was quite a "Drunk Philly' in 1974 called hit"when will be I see You Again"by the three degrees. Let's say you have decided to appoint an this (3) .mp3 mp3 file. It would be a legal folder name, but a search for 3º.mp3 won't find it. This is because the name of the file, I used the 'degree' (Unicode 00B 0) symbol and the search string uses the symbol "masculine ordinal' (Unicode 00BA). These symbols are almost identical to the nekkid eye (can not use the actual word here), but not to a computer search engine.

Replace any part of the name of the file, except the extension using the * wildcard would make the search works, but if you have used the 'partial' name, includes all who is this character, which could cause the problem.

To test, I suggest renaming the file. See if research there now. If so, rename, go back to what you think it was--but use the keyboard, not copy and paste to get the name of "origin". Search finds now?

Any way to get Windows 7 to find 'xp style' folders on the fly without all these stories of cataloguing which causes has other "cannot find' bugs even when

Actually found a solution so for all those who use the Googledrive folder on Windows - you can cut search indexing (uses of data which is not updated on the records of Gdrive) causing Win 7 search "on-the-fly" = a little more slow but even faster that I can read names of 17000 files

Just open your main Gdrive/Windows folder and choose search & Union Options / folders:

    Always search file names... CHECK

    Index of use which... CHECK

  • "Paint can not support this file."

This is the message I have now received a photo that I worked in the paint in many previous occasions without any problems at all. (The full message is: "paint can not support this file.) Is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not supported. ") I can always adjust the picture (crop, rotate, etc.). I can also copy, print, and move it to another folder. But the paint does not recognize no - or any copy of it. Restarting the computer is not good. Also: Paint continues to recognize other photos from the same lot. I spent a lot of time working on this picture, and it's very painful. How can I get it back in the paint and how can I avoid this kind of thing doesn't happen this or other photos in the future?

Now I am answering my own post on the file that would not go back into the paint. (How people often sponsor their own questions?) It's still a mystery to me how the file passed in its original form (JPEG) to what paint has challenged that 'not a bitmap file valid.' But after trying all sorts of things, here's how I saved the file: first of all, I left it Windows Photo Gallery in Microsoft Office Picture Manager (which I've never used it before). I clicked on 'Export' - and at the same time changed the format JPEG bitmap - and then return the file modified images. Paint then accepted the image as a bitmap file, and as soon as he was in the paint, I used paint to return to a JPEG file. And now, it's just the way it was before all this started badly. Phew.
