  2. what happens when you try to open or download attachments?

  3. do you get any error code or error message?

  4. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  5 is this problem confined to specific files or all files?

  6. what browser you use to download/open the attachments?

  If you use Internet Explorer, then I you suggest to disable add-ons, then try to download and extract.

  Follow the steps to disable add-ons:

  a. open Internet Explorer

  b. press the ALT key, and then click Tools.

  c. click on Manage Add-ons.

  d. disable add-ons by clicking on them one at a time to highlight and then click Disable.

  Note: to re-enable the modules one by one and check with what add-on, you get this error message. Disable Add-ons will not cause any problem.

  If disabling add0one did not help, then it would be better to post the same question in Windows Live Hotmail forums to get help.

  Movie Maker does not actually archive copies of the source
  files... the WLMP file simply records the path to the original
  locations. If the files are moved, renamed, deleted, damaged
  or are otherwise inaccessible... can't find the WLMP file
  them.

  If the source files are still available... it may be possible to
  Right-click on the yellow icons, then access the current
  location and restore the path.

  I'm unable to open downloads. They appear in the download window, but when I click it, nothing happens. I also tried to open their files saved without success. It is a new problem. I've never had this problem before. The fie I open is a .exe file.

  I posted earlier of not being able to open all the downloads; I have not solved the problem yet.  That's what I did so far, without success: I HPw2207: I run Vista Ultimate, and my browser is Mozilla.

  In May when it started I was downloading a game of Big Fish.com app is on this site for 5 years with no problems.  After you download the window came open was grey and it does not open.  Then I realized that I could no longer open all downloads, and failed to install the updates. And the Adobe reader could not open any files, forms, etc.

  After reinstalling Adobe Reader, I am now able to shoot to the top of forms and print.

  I found the problem, a simple solution.  My browser has been corrupted.  Passed to Google Chrome and have had no problems since.  Computer technicians could not yet understand this.  He took my son aged 15 to suggest I tey switching browsers... go figure!

  I have a bought a program called Shakti installed than I could in a course without any problem. When I installed the latest update to this program, I can't open it. I use the sequence of steps to open the program because I did it before using the method of administration and it goes through the process of opening, but it never loads the program. I tried the xp compatibility mode but it does not work either. It seems that something is blocking the process of loading, but I get no error message when the program does not load.   Press Ctrl + SHIFT + ESC to open the Task Manager.  Select the processes tab.  Now, that window open, try to start the application.  Its process appears in Task Manager?  If so, it uses time and perform IO?  It uses short time, then stop using the time?  This will tell you, at least, the application starts.
