• Can't open downloaded files

  I can't open downloaded files, a program that I paid for, among other things. I got the message, "choose what file you want to open the program with". On May 9, I downloaded files will be open, after that no. Please note: I ran a scan of viruses & spyware in depth and made that a retailer computer as well, we do not find the remark of a Trojan or viruses. What is a "worm"... If so, how to remove? This wonderful Vista doesn't let me system restore to May 9, (thank you Bill Gates).

  spirty,
  This sounds like it could also be a permissions problem. I'm guessing that when you copy-n-Paste the form on the LINUX Server, you did what Windows Explorer. When they are copied to the server LINUX file will be created with the default privileges defined on the file. I recommend that you connect to the LINUX Server and check the permissions on the file. If your file permissions do not match the permissions of the text.fmb (or other files .fmb you have there) I suggest that you change the permissions so that they match.

  I had to remove the regedit.  for some reason the mail windows refuses to unassociate so go to regedit, I don't like playing with regedit, but it worked, I deleted and then again, all ok now.

• I can not open zip files!

  I had this problem since day 1.  Whenever I get a zip file, Vista will not open the file instead, he associated with Internet Explorer and sends the computer into a loop of windows which can only be stopped by stopping turn signals.  If I associate the file with any other program, it opens not and goves me a message that the content is unreadable.  I do not get an option to "extract files".

  Go to: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and scroll down to the ZIP entry and click or double-click on it to launch the association of Zip files repair.  Then restart.  Zip files should now behave as usual.  You will still be able to use 7 - Zip instead of Vista if that is your choice.  All you have to do is change the file association by default for the ZIP files to 7-ZIP inntead of Vista.

  If you have this problem withall the speed of your program, Diecut for entry EXE click or double-ICCT top to run the EXE file association repair.  This should solve the problem of all programs to open under internet explore (if that is the case - I'm not sure I quite understand your situation).

  If the programs are open OK but the problem is that all the icons are all the internet Explorer icons, then perform a rebuild of the cache icon as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117229-icon-cache-rebuild.html.

• I can not open downloads of any kind.

  I posted earlier of not being able to open all the downloads; I have not solved the problem yet.  That's what I did so far, without success: I HPw2207: I run Vista Ultimate, and my browser is Mozilla.

  In May when it started I was downloading a game of Big Fish.com app is on this site for 5 years with no problems.  After you download the window came open was grey and it does not open.  Then I realized that I could no longer open all downloads, and failed to install the updates. And the Adobe reader could not open any files, forms, etc.

  That's what I've tried so far, I ran it as administrator, and nothing has helped:

  Immediately, I took my computer to a previous restore point.

  I have uninstalled all applications of game I had played.

  I uninstalled all of my computer that I is no longer necessary.

  I defragmented my files.

  I have the paid version of AVG, I did a complete scan, we deletes it the threats.

  Ran CCleaner

  A run Spyboy/search and destroy

  Run the full scan with Malaware bytes-found 2 Trojan horses, 3 infections, removed, run new scan found nothing.

  Scanned all files, downloads, apps. etc individually.

  A ran the hardware check

  Installed EXE installer/Windows plugin based browsers, saved on a disk and could not open it.

  Same thing with the MSI installer.

  Uninstalled all Adobe products, reinstalled everything but Shockwave, (cannot open it.).

  After reinstalling Adobe Reader, I am now able to shoot to the top of forms and print.

  Don't know what else to try.

  I found the problem, a simple solution.  My browser has been corrupted.  Passed to Google Chrome and have had no problems since.  Computer technicians could not yet understand this.  He took my son aged 15 to suggest I tey switching browsers... go figure!

  Agrivated after myself, I found the problem.  And it's simple!  I hope it works for everyone, always in need of response.  So I upgraded to Win Xp 32 bit to 7 64 bit.  I had a 39 + GB Easy Transfer file.  I was getting the same error, «...» "Cannot open a file... "Well, to solve this problem, I opened the Transfer Wizard, thenm go through your files, using the options"Advanced"and my limited to a size of transfer to 2 GB or less.  It could be a tedious job, but it should work for you, as it did for me.  You can experiment a bit more with the measures, but I've just stuck with 2 GB and was fine.  Good luck to you all

  Something strange happening never happened before.  I used to be on CS6 but now am on CC with the latest Adobe Camera Raw.  I used to be able to select three photos in camera raw, then click on tools and then I see my Nik Efex plugins and pick the one I wanted.  But I see now is Photoshop under tools at the bottom as an available option to open files.

  How can I open three files in HDR Efex Nik of Camera Raw?  Is there something wrong here or am I just not doing things right.  It seems that I did this before and now I can't.

  It should be listed under Google, because they bought Nik.

  Please provide the information above to understand the question better; the following steps are worth a try:

  Downloaded file is possibly corrupted. In this case, you will not be able to open it. Download the file again. That might solve the problem.

  Security software may be blocking or impeding the file to open, first of all, let us disable the security software and test

  Step 1: Disable security software, follow the steps mentioned below
