  Satellite U400D supports only 32-bit Vista and Vista64 because Toshiba driver download page I can only find drivers for these versions of Windows.

  So you should be happy with the operating system preinstalled because U400D is fast enough for Windows Vista. It should work fine with Vista.

If you have the software Camcorder installed on the computer, it will directly load the default drivers when you connect the camcorder.

  If the USB generic drivers are unable to load when you connect the camera, check if the camcorder is compatible with Windows 7.
