Can't record dvd movies stored in the computer. Says the disk is full.

Home movies from the camera to the PC. The movies selected to be burned/written on DVD. 2nd window opens Advisor to load the cd. When the dvd is loaded in the following cd/dvd drive panel pops up saying disk is full and will not let me continue.

Except for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005...
Windows XP doesn't natively burn DVDs... you need third-party
software.

If you create a DVD for data backup purposes the following
