Hello

-Is that this problem only occurs in Windows Explorer or other applications as well?

Method 1: I suggest you to check if the scroll lock button is enabled. If it is enabled, I suggest to turn off and check.
For reference:
Change the settings of the mouse

Method 2: Restore the system
Perform a restore of the system to a point prior to the show and check if this solves the problem.
What is system restore?

  • How can I remove the horizontal scroll bar

Hello!  I am a new user of muse.  My website is almost finished, except for the nagging horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page.  I can't understand why it is there for the life of me.  My page is http://testwake1.businesscatalyst.com/index.html#home

The black background, I have to adjust the length of the browser and which seems to be the question because if I delete it the horizontal scroll disappears.  What can I do to remove the bar or change the page correctly?  Thank you very much for your help!

    Eric

On the PC, it seems to only do in Chrome... Exploerer and Firefox does not display a horizontal bar.

You can also check the properties of the Site, under the menu file/Site Properties window and see if the browser scroll bars have the value Always or automatic.

When I plugged my blackberry on my XP PC, I used to see the memory of the device and the SD card in Windows Explorer.  Now, only the SD card is in the Explorer.

In the Desktop Manager, I used to be able to see the two also.  Move files and others.  Now I don't have this option.

It is a new company blackberry secure (password to unlock).  Don't know if the problem occurred the same time, I received my new phone...

  • The horizontal scroll bar is not here on some websites.

The horizontal scroll bar is missing when I visit certain websites. This is one of the Web sites, but there are many others still: http://www.fixya.com/support/t23137801-cannot_connect_android_tablet_arris

I know it is contained to the left or to the right of the portion of the screen I see because I can get by using the arrow keys on some Internet sites. On other sites, the arrows do not move the screen, but I know that it is contained on the side because I can see the edges of the images and buttons.

I tested two other browsers on the example site that I mentioned above. Internet Explorer does not have the problem, Chrome has the same problem with the scroll bar, like Firefox.

This problem is tolerable on Web sites were the arrows are a substitute, but on other sites, it makes the site unusable.

I have disabled all browser extensions, and that did not solve the problem. Change the screen resolution has no effect on the problem. I use Windows XP on a ten year old desktop computer. Windows updates are installed automatically.

While I don't see anything poking out around the edges of this page, I'm blocking part of the content of the site (e.g., Facebook integration, text-link advertising), so very likely your seems different from mine.

When you compare IE on the same page, what types of photos/buttons do you find on the edges?

She brings the peripheral from the edge elements if you zoom 'out' of the page holding the key Ctrl and tapping the button several times? You can return to your preferred zoom level by holding the CTRL key and tapping the button you like +.

  • Bring back the horizontal scope in windows 7 please

We really need horizontal range. No it's NOT mode double screen for those who keep you respond with this information.
Increased horizontal is when you setup of 2 monitors and span, the Office on two monitors so that it shows the additional two monitors resolution so as far as programs are concerned, users has only 1 monitor. so 2 screens side by side both a resolution of 800 x 600, XP you can configure it so that the desktop resolution is 1600 x 600, and all programs and games will consider this a single monitor with a resolution of 1600 x 600. With windows vista you can NOT do this, nor can do you in widnows 7 beta, the operating system and programs still consider 2 monitors with a resolution of 800 x 600. This is not good for games or programs design, at the launch of a game fullscreen, he used only 1 monitor, when you maximize a program, it uses only 1 monitor, of course you can't get full screen and "stretch" on both monitors, but this causes other problems that I won't go in.
Microsoft needs to redraw their graphics drivers that nVidia and ATI can reimplement the functionality extended horizontal (vertical).

    Hello CarlUK,

Thank you for posting.  After doing some research on your question, I came up with a possible solution for you.

Careful, this isn't an easy set and click on itinerary.

For each application you want to extend over several screens, you can try to customize the resolution.

For example, when I connect remotely on another computer using remote desktop, I can use command line switches, so that the short cut runs "mstsc.exe /h:1050 w:3360. This program has a/span option that accomplishes the same thing. In half-life 2, there are switches to command line for the width and height of the resolution and a no border switch which allows you to run the game in mode windowed without going through a window border.

Some programs may not have command line switches, or you can't not know what they are. Depth of danger is a game for which I do not know the command line switches. Then, as a backup, if you have a card nvidia, in the nvidia Control Panel, you can create custom resolutions. I created a 3360 x 1050. Then, in the declaration of principles, I can play the game in a window of this resolution. (I can't use full screen and this resolution, because she's trying everything to crush in a monitor).

I have been using Windows XP for a while.  I am always connected in Windows Explorer through the icon 'Butterfly '.  Never interested in Internet Explorer - too cluttered screen.  I have several files in Windows Explorer and virtually none in Internet Explorer 8.  How can I find the Favorites file

    Tommy,

You've done a good job answering my question.  Somehow, and I don't know how I did it I accidentally erased all the favourites I had accumulated for quite some time.  I have not found these missing Favorites in the trash that is where I would have expected to have. But that's another story and not a good thing.  I have so appreciated your efforts and I hope at some point I can get these favorites - wherever they are now.

  • How to disable the "Fonts" folder in Windows Explorer?

    Hi all

I have a problem to deactivate the fonts folder in Windows Explorer.
    My question:
How to turn off or do not display "Fonts" in Windows Explorer my computer tab?

I think it is unnecessary because it already exists in the Control Panel folder.

If anyone can solve this, thanks in advance.

Windows customizes the Fonts folder and offers a special folder view that allows you to hide variations, such as bold and italics. It also allows you to change the display settings of the file in a way that is specific to fonts. If you remove the read-only attributes and the Fonts folder system, these custom display settings not available. For folders that you have customized by using the tab, Customize dialog box Properties of the folder, the folder icon and other other customizations may be missing when you remove the read-only attribute.

  • I can't open anything that uses Windows Explorer...

I just installed Office 2007 and now I can't open anything that uses Windows Explorer. This includes the trash, all files and folders, same control panel. The only things I seem to be able to run correctly are programs. When I try to open anything, I get a popup window stating "Windows Explorer...". (Not responding) "and it will remain forever as this very pretty. After some clicking, it will inform me that Windows Explorer has stopped responding and that I can force close, waiting, etc.

I can't open all the products of the 2007 Office Suite that I just installed but I can't delete them either, since I don't have access to these files in the Panel. I checked in the file manager, and he said I actually opened these programs (I had 6 cases of execution of Excel), but they do not open and are just frozen on my screen.
I tried xplorer2 download and access control by that Panel, and it froze AGAIN, although I could enter some of my files that I could not earlier.
What can I do if I can't access control panel to remove things or to restore my system? Should I delete the MSOffice registers?

    Fixed! Ignore the previous message!

It was something within the Office itself, which was to ruin. I ran the diagnostic tool of the Office she found an error of diagnosis, repaired, Office has been able to open (and then I had my Windows Explorer as well back function). Woohoo!
For those who have similar problems, I did start > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Diagnostics and he ran.

Am using Vista Home Premium, I understand that there are 6 models folder in Vista Type; photography and videos and music details templates have the column nominal position, (1) what is it for, (2) can I use it for photos of rates or documents, if so how?

    Hi 5466,

    Thanks for your replies.

Vista has characteristics of property for files in folders that you might be able to carry out some sort of system that allows you to know your staff for the file that you place in the folder.

There isn't a download from Microsoft which has the attribute that you speak of to allow the classification of Word documents.  Information online about this process does not specifically address the attribute you have written in to place the dimension on the record.

Here is a possible work around you

When you view them documents in the folder, they are placed, check Details of the menu view is marked.

Then in the file that is created, right click and select Properties, in the TAG field type a general comment as '5 stars' or one who would submit to you the rating desired - in this field of the Details tab of the properties as Judd had suggested in a previous post.   You can use this field to record the files you have chosen personally.

Of course it's all a work around, but please let us know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.
