• Momentics IDE under Linux can't find the SDK

  Hi, I installed Momentics IDE on my 12.04, 64-bit Ubuntu as root. After that, I run the IDE for the first time as a regular user. I invited myself to install the SDK, which I did. However when I started the IDE for the 2nd time, it still behaved as if no SDK has been installed (I got the prompt again and could not build due to missing QCC projects). So I run the IDE as root and installed the SDK again. But even after this, the IDE always behaves as if no SDK was present.

  I found the sdkinstall executable in the/opt/bbndk directory, which says this:

  How can I fix it?

  The IDE is not intended to be installed as root. It creates a .rim folder in the home folder of the user who installed (/root/.rim). You can attemtp to solve this problem by entering your own folder of /root/.rim and by changing the property to your users (chmod).

  It is not real SDK download, its in your installation already. The JavaDoc for all classes are in-doc.11122\javadoc in the zip file, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cds/E50612_01.zip (page: Oracle Enterprise Gateway). There is an online documentation, including a tutorial on http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39820_01/doc.11121/gateway_docs/content/general_filter.html

  He should have a few filters pre-made simple with code source somewhere, but I think you may have to contact support to get their hands on those that I can not find them.

  A few months ago the QNX Momentics 10.2 I downloaded was working fine until suddenly, the pacemaker stopped working. I gave up sorta trying to develop my App. recently, I decided to pick it up again, but I have so much to download files (I know that my internet is sometimes quite sloppy but...)

  -Download the main installer file took me that so many times I almost gave up. Kudos to my z30 who managed to download reloading again and again when it fails.

  -However, I'm trying to update the Simulator and the API levels etc. from the program itself. Somehow, files are ALWAYS corrupted and the program somehow realize that then he just keeps trying to run the corrupt ZIP, unsuccessfully of course.

  -I know this because I see that the file stopped downloading at about 30-40 MB.

  Sorry for the rant. So my real question is:

  1. How can I download the SDK files manually to update? I tried this other method (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Native-Development/Cascades-SDK-update-fails-An-error-occurre... ), but I couldn't find the files needed to step 7.

  2. How do to locate half downloaded file from my system (where is its location) and perhaps I can just try installation again? I tried just clearing my Temp files. But it still does not... don't always seem to download a fresh copy (from what I see?)

  3. What can I do else?

  To apologize for sounding so angsty. It's really get into me, as this seems to be a simple but intractable question. I see messages dating back to months ago and again, it seems not yet to be resolved...

  Update files are downloaded on p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core/cache/.  Close the NDK, delete the files in this directory and try the update again

  If you have a different network, you can download you could install the NDK and update there and then copy this computer to your installation directory.

  It is a common use case.

  You create a job that has a closed Web Services trigger configured before executing the first phase (right click on the stage in the Task Manager, select Configure, you will then see this screen below), with the work or or jobs you need to added stop. This must be configured to be 'blocking', i.e. the rest of the work expected on the triggering comprehensive action.

  

  Work should have a phase which refreshes the data staging, and another phase (or a phase of post trigger) that returns your work in normal real time (using the trigger on the job).

I read on the website of adobe that the Gaming SDK has examples of projects and the codes that I could use for learning purposes. I can't find the location of the download of these scripts and examples of projects. If someone could point me to the place where they would be or a recommended tutorial on how to develop a flash game that would be very appreciated. I found the download location to other software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. which is C:\program files\adobe\) but there is no game SDK.

  I use Windows 7 and am currently subscribed to CC.
