  I am a pro at graphics but a real beginner in film... I'm playing with a clip of 5 minutes and the thought that I wanted to add a Flash movie. I applied the film and saved the file (my first mistake). Now I find that I don't really like how instant film works and want to return just a plain, no show, nothing complicated, don't clip.   Well, if you have already registered your project and closed, you need to remove the whole Flash movie to your timeline and re - assemble your video footage from scratch.

  If you created a Flash movie, and you have not yet closed the program, you can, of course, simply click on the button cancel in the action bar.

  OK now my turn to ask a stupid question. How are you supposed to play a movie on the xoom? Let's say you have the file downloaded in the movies folder, what is the formal process to play this movie?

  I realize that I can use my file manager to select the movie and he will play, but it seems to me that there should be an icon or an app for it as showing a picture or play music with the icon of the music. I'm looking at this point of view of someone who isn't a geek and want to play a movie?

  Im a newbie to the use of labview 7.1.

  IM creating something for my final year project. One of my problems trying to add animation flash (or any other type of animation) to play in a clean area. Be used to teach the user to watch. The VI will be also other features by using tanks, but ill tackle this problem when I get to it.

  Can anyone advise on the best option (so I can create my animation on something) so that the system works effectively.

  Maybe it's not the best method, but it can help to get you started!

  Try looking the .vi to http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/how-to-manage-web-page-content-via-labview/m-p/324668 called Info.vi of HTML Document. This VI will allow you to access html files.

  In this VI there is a control called URL. Use this control to point the VI to your SWF file and you should see your SWF file in a container on the Panel before the VI. At the point of the VI for your file using something like this:

  file:///c:/path/to/your/file if the file is on your local machine. otherwise, simply use the url where the swf file resides.

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  Some audio and video file formats are not supported in Windows Movie Maker and cannot be imported. Movie Maker is not compatible with QuickTime .mov files. However, if you have a video or audio file that is not supported, you can use a video editing software not Microsoft to convert the file into a format supported by Windows Movie Maker to perform a search online for video conversion software to find one that fits your needs (check the file formats that are supported by Window Movie Maker http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Import-video-files-pictures-and-audio-into-Windows-Movie-Maker) and then import the video file or an audio resulting in Windows Movie Maker. Some files also require you to install a codec before you can use the files in Windows Movie Maker.

  IMOPRTANT NOTE: Using third-party software can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly or may lead to serious problems. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

• In Windows 7, how can you 'Play All' videos in a folder, starting with a selected file?

  When I open a folder in Windows 7 Pro 64 bit that contains video files (.wvmv), and I click on Play All, it opened WMP and begins to play the first file in the folder.

  I would like to be able to select a file somewhere in the folder have the Start button play every play from this file, as if I was able to do in Win XP.
  Is there a setting that will allow me to do this?

  An alternative may be to open Media Player first and play from there.  Unlike previous versions, Windows 7 Media Player does not use its own database, it reads in the libraries of same as folders in Solution Explorer.  So if you open Media Player and click on the videos section, you can browse and start playback of the file you want.  And the default functionality is to continue to the next file after each of them, it should be similar to what you are looking for.

• How can I play a DVD movie?

  First day with Win8.  Found Autoplay, which came with no selection.  Chosen ' ask me Everytime "for the DVD in the drive removable, rebooted, but no dialog box appears as I close the player.  Vista Windows Media Player had no problem on this laptop.  Thx for your suggestions!

  Windows Media Player 12 will play no longer DVD discs or files for licensing reasons.

  If you are running Windows 8 Pro, you can get a free Activation from center of the media until January 31.

  Media Center WILL read DVDs and will also allow the media player to play video files more... but not DVD.

  If you do not Win Pro 8, you need the upgrade pack to Windows 8 Pro that contains Media Center.

  The only other option would be a 3rd party player and set it as the default value for the DVD.

  IM building my first website, I have 0 coding knowledge but I want to have the menu change the colors because it is a site a page that uses anchor points to scroll from chapter to chapter.   Tthat is not possible. Your best bet would be to define a background color for the buttons and reduce transparency, so the image can be seen below.

  When I export my animation my options are video SWF, JPEG sequence, sequence, sequence PNG and GIF GIF animated; but there is none. MOV, which is what I send on YouTube.

  If you want to get a video product, then you need to use the video export... selection. If you use Flash CC, then Flash will create a temporary file, then open Adobe Media Encoder. When that opens, you will be able to select the audio and video compressor you want to use.

  You can the following snippet to tell the buttons-

  1 button to just play video 1 and hide all other videos (in this case only TRAVEL say video 2)

  SYM.$("Video2") [0] () .pause;

  SYM.$("Video2"). Hide();

  SYM.$("VIDEO1"). Show();

  SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0] .currentTime = 0;

  SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0]. Play();

  Similarly, code on the 2 button to hide all other videos and play only video 1:

  SYM.$("VIDEO1") [0] () .pause;

  SYM.$("VIDEO1"). Hide();

  Display an item

  SYM.$("Video2"). Show();

  A video track

  SYM.$("Video2") [0] .currentTime = 0;

  SYM.$("Video2") [0]. Play();

• Can you play a clip cut from the preview window

  Using 11 elements. When you have trimmed a clip in the preview window, i.e. define the "in" and "on" points, is it possible to play this clip carved into the window to see what you've accomplished? I know that you can drag the slider to the "in" point, but is there no way to play just any little to start?

  Now, when we load a Clip in the Source monitor Panel by double-clicking on that Clip to open the Source monitor, and then sets the Points In & Out, the Source monitor will always play the full Clip. The Points In & Out will be used only, when doing drag that element from the Source monitor Panel to the timeline. There, only the material, between the Points In & Out will be used and displayed.
