Canning tools Panel or by default in a two-column layout

I have Illustrator CC (latest version) on a Mac (Yosemite), and I feel this weird glitch where each time I start up the illustrator of Toolbox on the left is a two-column page layout. I have to click it each time to get to the single column page layout I prefer. I saved a workspace personalized in order to maintain my favorite diagram and it is always in a two column orientation. I also tried to save several different page layouts, thinking it was the working space profile that has been altered. No luck. Any ideas?

If the tools do not fit in a single column, the Panel will return to two columns.

They fit them in your case?

Is it possible to set the display to hide the default tools Panel?

I'm constantly bothered by how much screen real estate, must every time I open a document, and the extra click top takes each time to hide.

    Thank you!

    Hi Tom,

In Adobe Acrobat DC/Acrobat Reader MS it is not possible to hide the default tools Panel because it is an essential element of the user interface.

As a shortcut, you can either click on the sidebar panel or you can use the Ctrl + H keys to past in "read" Mode.

    * Note 'Play Mode' does is display the document and no Panel.  "Playback mode" just between documents or meetings.

I can't find my tools Panel even when I go to windows and click Tools sound still does not appear

    Sergio,

Maybe it's time for the list (forget about 5) in this case).

Sometimes, (some) things may fail or stop working for no apparent reason. When (other) possible reasons/remedies do not work, it is perhaps a kind corruption (temporary or permanent), or even preference settings which disturbs, which can be cured with something on the following list put in place in order to provide a catch-all solution for otherwise intractable cases. It starts with a few easy suggestions and safe) 1 and 2) for cases less serious and goes two ways 3) and 4) to reset the default preferences (easily but irreversibly and more laboriously but more completely and also reversible), then follows a list 5) various other possibilities, and it ends with a complete reinstallation 6). If no other suggestion doesn't work, or if no other suggestion appears, you can start on the list and decide how to go or who can apply.

The following is a general list of things, try when

    (A) the question is not in a specific file,

    (B) you have a printer installed, connected and turned on if it's a physical printer (you can use Adobe PDF/Acrobat Distiller as a printer by default without the need to have a printer on, of course you will need to specify when you really need print on paper), and

    (C) It is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media (see below).

You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically may be corrupted/inconvenient preferences); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Illustrator/KB/preference-file-location-Illustrator.html

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    Even worse, you can:

6 (A) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences, if any), B) run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) and C) reinstall. It is important to use this step three way: otherwise, things may persist.

  • When I select a local adjustment, how can I scroll the new adjustment panel with the default panels

In lightroom in the develop module. When I select a local adjustment for example the Brush tool or the gradient tool, the adjustment of the particular tool panel appears in the sidebar where I can make adjustments to these tools (see figure below).

Now my question is with this adjustment Panel, it seems to be coming overlap on top the other default settings (for example the "base Panel" - exposure, contrast etc) and when I scroll down on other settings, the Brush tool or the gradient tool adjustment panel is always on top and does not scroll with the default settings.

I would like to change the setting of this kind that the adjustment panel is part of the other default settings in the module development and scrolls with them.

I know this is possible because I saw online videos where this is the case, and my lightroom on another machine for this.
If anyone know how I change the setting for this?

    Capture.JPG

It seems to depend on the actual size of the Lightroom window. Just messing around with the CRD and LR5 onto my retina MBP 15 "with a monitor 1920 x 1200 and the two Lightroom versions scrolls happily adjustments table so that others, but only if the size (i.e. the height) of the Lightroom window is below a certain level. Done on the screen retina, when the display is set to 'Better for the retina', the Panel scrolls with others. But if I change the screen resolution of 2880 native and expand the LR window to fit, then the settings panel does not scroll.

Similarly, if I move LR for the monitor external, same thing, i.e. Panel does NOT scroll when the window to maximize LR, but it does not scroll when I lower the height of the LR window (seems to be around the mark 1600 pixels)

It's the same with LR5 and even on the Windows platform. I think he has somehow based on the height of the Panel adjustments with regard to the total height of the LR window, i.e. the settings panel does not scroll when there is enough space in the right panel to allow the eyes of one or many of the other tools below.

  • No tool Panel

    Stupid question of the day.

I just installed CS5.5, and I don't have a Control Panel tool.  The window > Options is checked, but when I select it, it does nothing.

How can I get the tool Panel?

And it is here if you like a column two tools Panel in Photoshop Standard Edition...  Click and hold on the position to see the selections of the replacement tool.

Note that this is not (directly) a selection tool like the ones you are shown above, but creates traces or vector objects.  A path can be converted to a selection, however.

How is - a to hide the tool Panel in Adobe Draw?

Simple question ~ but it seems impossible; or a well hidden secret. What Miss me?
Please post the trick to do this if you know it. Very much appreciated.

    Hi Gizmo,

If you are on iOS... An open canvas, in the upper right corner of the screen, there are a two-headed arrow icon. Tap that. To temporarily hide your toolbar. When you want to go back, press the version grayed out of it. (It's at the same place in Android for the draw, but the icon is a little different: a square icon broken.)

Let me know if you have trouble.

  • I just bought 14 items for my PC.  I'm trying to find the tool history brush in the Toolbox, but can not find the tool Panel.  HELP!, I just bought 14 items for my PC.  I'll try to find the tool history brush in the Toolbox, but cannot

I'll try to find the Brush tool that is supposed to be in the tool Panel, but I can't find the tools Panel.  I just bought 14 items for my PC.  Also, I want to be able to have several photos to the top at the same time so I can move something from one photo to another, but I didn't understand how to do this.  I had worked with 10 items.  It's quite confusing to me.

I could be wrong, but I think the tool 'tool shape history' exists only in the full Photoshop...

My advice is to use the help file (in online or download the manual pdf https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/photoshop-elements_reference.pdf)

The interface has been changed in version 10, and you'll save time by looking at the different tutorials about it.

The tool options palette is on the background, you can open it in the horizontal icon bar: second icon of the tool option palette or a first for the photo tray.

Look at the menu display to choose how view several files at the same time. There is also an option in the menu Edit/Preferences to "allow the floating windows in expert mode.

To move one photo to another, you can use the photobin to drag a photo to another already open in the display panel. You can also drag layers in the layers panel to another picture displayed.

I can´t find dehaze tool Panel Lightroom vertsion 6.4 indeed.

Because the dehaze function has been added after the release of 6.0 in the stand-alone version, the functionality is not available until version 7.0, in the standalone version.

However, there are plug-ins, you can download that gives you access to the feature. :-)

  • options in the tools Panel

    Hello

I was wondering is it possible to choose which options are displayed on the tools Panel, today, I found that the following: commentary, export to PDF, create PDF, PDF file to edit, combine files, fill and sign, send for Signature and send & Track.

What I need is to show, in this list, the tool of "Certificates" and probably remove her a couple more unnecessary for our people.  It is possible...? How?

    Thank you

    MT

    Hi mikoT,

It is not possible to add it in the tool pane in Acrobat Reader MS. However, you can access is directly from the Tools tab.

Like using Acrobat Reader DC it is not possible to create the digital signature directly, unless you have the Signature field in PDF form.

    Kind regards

  • Stop opening the tools Panel

Whenever I open a document in the tools Panel is taking up much of the space. Of course, it is easy to close. But I don't want to open in the first place. I can't find anything in the preferences to stop everything. Each search as "Panel tools in Acrobat reader DC" is rejected by the site as "too long" (?). Any thoughts? Simon

It's been updated! Please see hide the tools Panel in Acrobat and Acrobat Reader DC at all times.
