I called Toshiba/USA and they recommend the PA3313U-1M1G or its equivalent Kingston KTT3311 / 1 G (since it is impossible to find in the Mexico), instead of the one I already bought. They all seem exactly the same thing in their description, except for the note "alviso chipset.

  (a) is the chipset of this computer, considered "alviso" type? and

  I guess the PA3313U-1M1G and PA3313U-2M1G are the same modules from memory.
