Cannot add a host - you do not hold independent privilege add host

I'm trying to add a host to my data center that was there before (taken out to solve a problem) and I can't do it.

I get the error:

Refused permission to perform this operation.

"You do not privilege" Home > inventory > Add standalone host "on data center xyz.

This may be the cause?

-ar

Well I checked the membership to the Group on the subject of data center and found that I was in a group that had only READ access. Myself removed from the Group and everything is fine. Thanks for all the suggestions!

  • "The operation cannot be performed because you don't have sufficient privileges for some of the elements" is the message I get when you drag the icon of firefox to application icon?

This is my laptop and I know my password install but do not understand why it gives me this message when you try to copy the new Firefox on the old Firefox application I currently have (to. 3.0.3).

Any suggestions? I am also concerned about all my favorites organized, would be completely lost in the replacement of the software?

If you have problems with the update or the permissions then more simple is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.

Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop DMG

    • Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
    • Install the new version you downloaded

  • Why ADOBE Illustrator declines save me my file in my USB?, when I save on my computer screen appeared warning "cannot save the picture. you do not have enough access privileges. ID:-5000. "does that mean?

    Hello

Difficulty of the access privileges on your USB. It is locked or you simply don't have the right to write about it. No application can write on it.

BTW: it is not a good idea to read or write from a USB key in Illustrator (or any software) directly. These sticks are just a nightmare in terms of data integrity and tend to become too often mistakes of R/W.

Save on your drive hard and then make a copy on the USB key.

  • Inability to access the network home "You are not allowed..." »

On my home network as well with Win 7, my desktop pc can see and access the shared files on the laptop.  On the laptop, the shared files are visible, but when the "shared desktop" is clicked on the message says "Windows cannot access \ yadayda.» You are not allowed etc... "The other shared folders are accesiuble. Why?

Both computers show as a home network with identical names and working groups.  Disable the firewall does not help.

You have configured the Windows NFS share like that?
