  • Cannot add text to additional images on the second page of brochure

    Greetings,

I want to explain it, so there are many understand the problem that I have in InDesign CC.  I created a tabloid size for a company brochure.  The outside cover works perfectly, I can add multiple blocks of text and add text to all created frames.

Now when I go inside the cover of this brochure, I can add text for the first block of text that was created without any problem.  When I create subsequent text frames, I can't have a fast blinking cursor inside one of the frames.  The slider appears across the page in the upper left corner of the booklet, instead of the image.  This happens for all the images I create after the first picture on this page.  I select the text layer and the image appropriate, then I go to the text tool and try to place the cursor inside the frame, and the text tool will not active there.  All text created will begin appearing in the upper left corner of the booklet where is the blinking cursor!  If I delete the first block of text on the inside cover, and then create all new text frames; I can't add text to one of the new executives either.  It almost as if text is limited to that very first image I created.

    Thank you

    Carl

    Good,

I found a work around.  Honestly, I want that the Type tool to convert frames for text blocks.  This occurs on the outside cover, and not on the inside cover.  So what I've discovered, it was that the executives who were not automatically convert to text blocks, I could manually convert them by accessing the object > content > text.

I have yet to understand why the Type tool will do it on a single page and not the other, but at least I can end this now!

    Thank you

  • Cannot add text with fill & sign

I recently updated to the DC worm 2015.008.20082 reader.  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 - bit OS.  Before the upgrade (Adobe XI), I was able to open PDF documents and use Fill & sign to add information.  However, since the upgrade when I click Fill & sign, it gives me a blank page.  The mouse seems to be loading or transformation of something, but does not load the page I want to edit.  The strange thing is that it works on my machine Windows 8.1 friends as planned.  It allows me to add text fields and save.  The question is why it does not work on Windows 7?

I tried Adobe DC uninstalling and reinstalling.  I tried to disarm and even drop the McAfee Antivirus and replaced by AVG Antivirus.  Thank you very much for your help!

The user account type is administrator.  Yes, I noticed the Windows 7 security WARNING too and start looking at why.  While I wasn't able to get rid of the warning, I changed the compatibility mode to Windows 7 and it worked.  I was able to open the PDF file and use fill and sign.  Now, just need to figure out why I'm getting the security warning.  Thank you.

  • Cannot add text to video

I'm trying to add text to a video that I just created.  An overlay of text embedded in the lower part. I use CS4.

I watched several tutorials, and they all mention that when I right click in the PROJECT area and choose NEW POINT / TITLE,.

a new window is supposed to open that will allow me to edit and.  But nothing shows - except for the title in the area of PROJECT file.

    Premiere Pro Problem.jpg

If it helps, I will attach a screenshot of what I see immediately after, I create a new title.  In the screenshot, it is named "my text".

As I said, I don't want to create a title before the start of the video, I want to add text at the bottom of the video as it plays.

So what I am doing wrong?

  • Cannot add text to all the

Hello... I use Photoshop Elements 8 and use items from version 2. For about the last 6 months, I couldn't type any text at all. When I try to type any text, images, newly created, scanned in or otherwise - no text appears. When I click on the image to start typing, I get the little box that always pointed, but no text appears when I type. I am quite familiar with the elements and have no idea of what brought this. I don't remember all the settings changes and I checked all the settings I can think. All other functions seem to work.

No matter what the police, or the font size is selected, the color of the text changes make no difference, I checked the horizontal, vertical and hide the text settings, opacity has been verified... I'm fresh out of ideas. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the software - nothing - no text at all.

I use Windows 7. I would like suggestions.

You have the fonts installed in the system. This has not changed. (Having the police is not always enough, but it is certainly necessary).

  • Cannot display "add text" feature with fill/sign

Was in the middle of filling of a document in Adobe Reader Ms. I added a digital signature on a single page, and then going on to the other to finish filling in part but could not do.  Kept getting a 'ping' whenever I tried.  Follow the instructions to select fill/sign, but there is no window to "add text" as shown in the tutorials.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hey paulab43625426,

Once you have added digital signatures in the PDF document, you can not add text, edit the file, etc. Since the file is now protected.

  • Cannot send text can display iPad

All of a sudden in the last days, I am unable to text messages sent from my iPad.  I have checked in the settings, Messages, send & receive and it lists only my email address.  I can only add another email address and not a phone number.   How can I synchronize once more my iPhone with my iPad?

That must be done through the iPhone. You cannot add a phone number directly from the iPad. Make sure you have text Message Forwarding enabled on the iPhone. This will give you a code for the iPad to be able to use the iPad to send a text message.

    What software do you use?

You can use your favorite search engine to find the third-party software to enter subtitles or add text in video.

  • Problems with PerfMon - cannot add counters

Hello everyone.  I registered just to ask this question, which I couldn't find after a long time consult Google.  I come to you in the hope that when Google has failed, you will not!

I use a program that some of you may be familiar, called Samurize (http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/), who does a lot of things; what I use for most allowed, in a blink of an eye, discern my CPU usage, RAM usage, information network, availability, hard disk space and my schedule on the calendar, among other things.  I know it is an old program and I know that it was designed for Windows 2000/XP, but it worked without a hitch (not including this one) on Vista and Windows 7.

Recently, however, the ability to monitor CPU, RAM, upload and speed of download and availability has disappeared; all of them give me a flatline, statement I use no internet at all or my computer also (with the exception of availability, which reports that I have been on my computer for 49 days, 17 hours, 2 minutes and 47 seconds... he refuses to go to the top!).  Initially I thought it was a problem with the program.  It is not; It has something to do with Perfmon.  When I load perfmon.exe through the box run, it loads up with an error that says:

    "Cannot add these counters:

    \Memory\Available MB
    \Memory\% committed bytes used
    Defects of \Memory\Cache/s
    Defects of \Memory\Cache/s
    Time to \%Idle \PhysicalDisk (*)
    \PhysicalDisk (*) \Avg disk queue length
    \Network interface (*) \Bytes Total/sec.

This isn't me accidentally say the same thing twice... it says what I typed on verbatim. [Edit:] Just remembered: other system monitors are perfectly fine.  Of course the Task Manager works well, but gadgets seem to work fine in my use of RAM and CPU, as well as my download balance sheet and download speeds. [/ Edit]

It's pretty much the sum of my progress on the problem.  I found this page (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/300956), which seems like it might solve the problem... but being a lazy man boned, I hope that there is a simpler solution than that, those who are not "reformat".

    Hello SensaiOpti,

I had the same problem. A level that your pointers to the perfmon counters are damaged, you must re-create these with LODCTR from an elevated command prompt:

Click Start, type cmd click right cmd.exeand select run as administrator.
At the prompt, type lodctr /r and press ENTER. This allows to repair the pointers (those that are stored in the registry).

When I add text to an image that starts as a RAW file, I have no problem. When I try to add text to an image that is only a jpg file, the size of the text is extremely low. Even when I change the the font size to 72 pt, it is always small. How can I fix it?

You set the font size to a size that is suitable for the size of the document.   Size of the document may vary everywhere.   To resolve this problem in action, I solved in scaling the document to a known size then use a font suitable for a document of this size.  When you resize an image using size with resample Images not only checked a single pixel is change everything that is changed is the DPI image resolution setting.  So if you size a picture 8 "wide you choose a font size is good for wide image 8" the Save action.  To work around the problem of changing the size of the printing I wrote a Script to use in such an action.  The script is used twice, there is a backup and restore script.   The first time that the script is used the script records the resolution DPI images in the metadata documents.  The second time that the script is executed, it retrieves the registered PID parameter deletes the record of metadata from images and set the DPI images that had been saved.    If the use of fonts for the document 8 "will be resized to fit the print original size.

In a script, you can calculate a correct font size to use.  Actions cannot retrieve information or use logic. They need to use the Plug-ing and Script where logic is needed.  When you make using Photoshop UI you use your eyes and brain.

I have a PDF brochure that I'm changing some of the text, but I'm in trouble I've ever had before.

I will open the PDF file, select the Touch Up text tool and go to text that needs a few changes. I will highlight the text, but when I start typing, I get a message saying:

All or part of the selection has no available system fonts. Cannot add or remove text using the selected font.

I will try then to recognition of OCR text-> recognize text using OCR, but this message:

Acrobat cannot run recognition (OCR) on this page because:

    This page contains renderable text.

I tried to convert it into an XML, convert it to PDF and fixed text. I will highlight the text and click on delete, but nothing happens. I'll try to add text and type it shows nothing type. The cursor moves as he types, but nothing does not display or change.

Is that what all this makes any since? Is there something on it? How can I make this PDF so I can change the text?  I have Acrobat Pro.

    Thanks for any help,

  • Cannot add to a JPanel after that removeAll() is triggered by an another swing zo

Examine the piece of code below. This is a much simplified version of my real application.
JPanel1 is a unique label. JPanel2 is a single button.
The jPanel2 button is supposed to erase claire (with removeAll()) jPanel1 and add a new label in place of the old. What actually happens, is that after the first button press, jPanel1 is indeed allowed by the removeAll() method but cannot add the new label (or rather it can be added, but will not appear.) I can hardcode the withdrawal and adding back all day and it works great. It is only when I use a component swing as JButton or JComboBox that it does not work. Why? What is a thread thing?
