• Cannot back up the DVD - RW disk

  Hello!

  Can you help me?-Windows Vista does not allow me to back up my files on a DVD - RW disc
  It is an intact and not a damaged disc.

  Here's what happens: Windows displays files are analyzed and prepared for backup; then
  about an hour later, a dialog box appears saying: insert a blank disc and write the
  What follows (a name chosen by Windows file) on the disk.

  I insert my drive (formatted) empty and press OK, but the dialog box does not accept that only
  shuddered when I press tab OK does not disappear, then causes the backup files bar
  to switch from green to red and finally tells me that my backup has failed... This has happened
  the last 10 times I tried to backup on a DVD - RW disc!

  In addition, other times, when I inserted a floppy blank and formatted, the dialog box told me

  Thank you very much for linking me to many DVD backup problems
  questions and your answers.

  In fact, I confess that I discovered that it seems to be my fault in
  Figure 2 or 3 dialog boxes Windows on the DVD inserts:
  whenever a box pops up and forced me to put in a "blank" disc, I assumed that this meant that the disc I had already inserted was not recognized

• Cannot back up the system - get "critical error (0x8000FFFF) - how do I fix this?

  I have a Gateway laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium - recently I received this error message when you try to make a point to restore/backup: unable to backup system - get "critical error (0x8000FFFF)".

  10 g R2 on Win 2003, I can't login to control db with sysman or sys. I get this:

  Have the password you changed sysman db level if yes then please set password to the original one and try again.

  If you want to store the new password, then change even in files too.

  Port 1521 is used to communicate with the listener.  If the listener is able to actually process the request (your error indicates it is NOT able to process the request), while it generates a server process that communicates with the client on a different port.  At this point, the listener is out of the picture until the connection goes.

  Read the links once again, especially the other, which directly addresses your specific error message.

  And know that the requests to the IP 127.0.0.1 (or its alias 'localhost') never to leave the machine for which the request was made... your log listener seems to indicate that is used, but if that were the case, you would have got a different error.  If you read the links provided, you will see that the first centerpiece of the ora-12514-related news is the release of "lsnrctl status".

  You should not write in the app / folder in your application. This can be done in development mode, but it is intended only as a convenience for certain types of deployment of debugging (if you do not have to copy all the files on each time you make a change).

  Last night I upgraded database 10.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.4. Everything seemed to go well. I don't have any errors in the process, and when I logged in the database control, everything seemed fine. It was late at night, so I don't navigate around for very long, however. When I came this morning and did a few more extensive trials, after login I noticed first that, in the section general, version database has been listed as 10.2.0.1.0. I thought it was quite strange because I had just been connected to SQL * more and saw that the database was aware he was at version 10.2.0.4.0. I refreshed the page and saw

  2 Di you use any third-party tool to mount the drive?

  I suggest that you remove the external drive using the disk management and check back later if you can change the permissions on the drive.

  My friends router is dead and we are in the smack dab Middle no where with no transport and we want the internet.
  We have only an Ethernet however.

  Here's my situation.
  I want to create an ad - hoc network and share the internet connection using ICS. The problem is, when I secure my ad hoc network with WEP or WPA cannot connect to the network. The network is visible on the computers of my friends (mac and PC) and they put the password nothing is done.

  But here's the kicker, when I don't put no security on the network, everything works fine.

  How do I create an ad hoc ICS with security network and have not really work?
