What you need to do is to 'disable' (not uninstall) the driver of 'bad' and use only the correct driver. That you should be able to do it via the Device Manager.

  Try this approach and see how you rate. Once you can get the 'good' driver to work properly, then and only then we will get rid of the 'bad' driver (uninstall).

  See the European driver of Toshiba page, choose the model right for laptop and try to update the BIOS, then the display driver.

  Reboot the laptop and see if the problem still occurs.
