Cannot change home page - home page is locked to Google

My Firefox home page is locked to Google, and I can't change it. The area where I should be able to change in the 'Options' has 'Mozilla Firefox Start Page' gray - I can't delete or enter information. I ran spyware scans and tried different remedies, but nothing helped.

I tried all sorts of remedies, but I remain locked.

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

You can check the browser.startup.homepage pref on the topic: config page.

    I live in France and my ISP is Orange. I have a LIVEBOX 2 and have used Orange for the last year and a half.

  • only pages html not recorded in history. also cannot change home page

    The last time that Firefox actually saved a html page in history was May 16. Firefox will not save the pages I visit that are not html pages, a page ending in jpg, .doc, .pdf, etc..

    I tried several time messing around with the options - picking don't remember history, and then restart and selecting remember history.

    I uninstalled Firefox, but retained the personal data. Then I reinstalled. Still did not work.

    I then used the reset FireFox. It only made things worse. Now, I can not change the homepage.

    It's 22 Firefox beta on 64-bit Windows 8 Pro

    OK - crazy - but now that I have worked on the issue of the home and goes to a page which was not in the drop-down list - I restarted FireFox and now is to remember the story correctly. However, all my ancient history has been deleted - it looks like all, it will be deleted. I no it was not deleted.

    The only other change that's happened when I restarted FireFox, this last time was the update of the Adobe Application updated itself and also updated Adobe Camera Raw.

    In any case, it seems to work now - it's great!

  • Cannot change the page editable errors

    Hi all

    I created a Web site that uses DWT editable regions as well as editable ice regions.

    http://www.p3sf.com/

    The index.html page isn't an attached template and all the other pages are attached to the model internal.dwt

    I created regions editable in the DWT and also created the boxes of ice in the model. Now, when I go to a page and press ctrl + E, and then press the button change, I get errors.

    On the index.html page (which is not attached to a model), I get "you cannot edit or duplicate this page because it contains the invalid supplement. "Reason: there is an editable region that contains prohibited tags.

    I went and looked for these tags, but have no idea of what they are. And whereas I have created the page with Dreamweaver and added parts of ice, why would I errors.

    On other pages such as http://p3sf.com/events.html , I used to get a different error, but now I get the same error as above.

    Help, please! This ice is supposed to make things easier, but I did have to work for one of my many sites yet.

    Thank you
    Leslie

    Hello, Leslie.

    First of all, your index page does not validate because you have nesting problems (some of your labels are not properly closed before starting a new tag). However, aside from that, you can have scripts inside InContext Editing regions. The error that you receive when you use InContext Editing is caused by the script inside the form located in your editable region. Move the script in the editable area and InContext Editing does not return the error.

    The line of the related help page that apply to the present case is: there is an editable region that contains prohibited tags. The forbidden tags include SCRIPT, map, AREA, OBJECT, and EMBED.

    Please let me know if you need more help with this.

    Best regards
    Corey

  • Cannot change default Page Size

    HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

    Windows XP

    All the installation instructions were followed, and the printer works well.

    However, whenever I try to print a document, the Page size in the default printing preferences window is always letter, and I change manually in A4 before continuing.

    How can I set the default Page size for this printer A4 (instead of letter)?

    Hello

    In order to define the document by default to A4, you should try the following settings.

    1. go to printer and Faxes folder
    2. right click on the printer and select Properties
    3. then click the Preferences tab.
    4. go in the paper/quality tab
    5. Select the paper tray and paper and type format you want.
    6. click apply then OK to save the settings.

  • Cannot change Start Page in the browser based AIRHelp (TCS3)

    I changed the Start Page of a project of AIRHelp (from index.html), but despite the new html page being launched (as shown in the browser), aid still shows the default original page. Any ideas anyone?

    Mark

    The start page is what pulls the top of the window to three components. By default, it is called index.htm, you can change this in the page layout.

    The default theme is the subject that appears in the window of three components. You can change the heading that appears, by default, that you should not have a topic called index.htm because it would cause confusion.

  • Starting with HP Officejet 6600 and cannot change the page size

    Hello

    You have just purchased HP Officejet 6600 all-in-in-one and found that there not a duplexer, which is very very annoying! However, if I can just change the paper size, I can live with the disadvantage to the paper.  I have a Word document that is the flyer for our company, a document A4 which must be printed on A5 paper.  Old Canon printer I could make the A4 as an A5, but now I can't.

    Hope I explained the correct problem and the TIA for help.

    In my copy of Word 2007, I am able to evolve in A5 paper.

    Be sure to select A5 in 6600 preferences.

    Hello

    I know that this has been widely discussed and I have checked all of the discussions, but I am still unable to solve this problem.

    If I have the doc title for an editable model region that it says there is an error in line 8 as ther is an asymmetrical Apple.

    Can someone please help?

    my site is www.thegreensolarcompany.com

    Thank you very much, I really tried to solve this problem without resorting to the forum

    Helen

    Sorry Murray, I misread, what the problem was.

    Helen,

    It seems that your page title box is not editable. You should have an area in your template like this;

    Your Page

    I don't see the link you provided.

    Murray-back to my problem. I had pages that uses a model that wouldn't let me edit in an editable region. I got the error, locked by model. It was not much, but a few times. For the life of me, I could not locate the problem, as well as copy and paste and save as, and it is fixed. I created a blank page from the same model, then copied and pasted the content, it worked. I wish I had a way to compare two files, but I don't have to if I'm not on a line-by-line. As I have said, what happened only a few times.

    Some security and utility software has a "browser protection", protection of the home page"or the functionality of"surf protection"that protects you against changes made to the settings of your browser. And you cannot change them yourself. Could check you this option in avast!, Advanced SystemCare (if you have one) and any other software that could be keeping an eye on your system?

  • APEX... How to change home page

    When I started to develop the application I created a homepage... Now, I want my initial home page on a tab and want to create a new home page... Can I know how to do this...?

    Thanks in advance

    The home page is the page where your application is land once the connection. Usually, it's the 101 page and there is a login process where you need to change the page number:

    BEGIN
       wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login
                            (p_uname           => v ('P101_USERNAME'),
                             p_password        => :p101_password,
                             p_session_id      => v ('APP_SESSION'),
                             p_flow_page       =>    :app_id
                                                  || ':'
                                                  || 1
                            );
    END;

    change your page number in that you ever need (1-2)

    ...
                             p_flow_page       =>    :app_id
                                                  || ':'
                                                  || 2

  • My Firefox home page doesn't include Google search. Why is this?

    My Firefox home page doesn't include Google search.
    I would like to include a photo, but Firefox Help does not seem to allow this.
    There is an empty space where Google search would normally be.
    If you type in a search, it takes you to a search engine called http://uk.search-results.com.
