  I use Acrobat Pro 6 years to convert DOCs (2003) Microsoft Word to PDF.  After a power failure, some of my Adobe products had to be repaired and re-recorded.  On the other side of this procedure, I seem to have lost the conversion function.  When I click on the right button of the mouse on a DOC file, I always get a possibility to convert the file, but nothing happens.  How to restore this function?  (my Acrobat 6 Pro is part of the Adobe Creative Suite Premium package).

  Try to open Word, then select help, everything.  Click the button for "disabled items".  If there is the pdf components disabled, select and "allow."  Need to do separately in each Office application (Excel, etc.).

  You need to connect to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID and password.

  Then, choose "Create a PDF file" tab to download the PPT file and convert it to PDF.

  Then, you can download the converted file on your computer or even locate on the files tab.

It starts a second, and then a pop up comes up saying "couldn't access acrobats Web access facility.  Acrobat may be busy or waiting for the entry' I add we activated.  What else is my problem?

• Cannot convert Word to PDF - please help?

  I am running Windows XP, Office 2003 and Acrobat Writer 5.

  I had the same setup for five years and could always secret Word documents to PDF format like this:

  File/print - then I select Acrobat PDF writer in the list of printers, and then click "print to a file" and's done it.

  I created thousands of PDFs in this way. I have also reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled still and always are able to print to PDF of programs.

  Last week I even once reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled all the same programs I've always had. I changed nothing, absolutely nothing on the configuration of the computer.

  However, NOW when I click on file/print from Word, therefore more Acrobat PDF writer listed!

  And so I can't convert to PDF format.

  Can someone tell me please how to return Acrobat in my list of "printers"?

In my original post, that changed to Jeff, I said that I am using Acrobat 9 Standard. I was wondering how do I reinstall or repair or Acrobat 9 Standard, so it works correctly.   May I know the process to convert Doc to PDF files. If you use Acrobat to convert the files, and then with the same application you open.
