I used to be able to do with Shark007 Windows Vista installed Codec, but I recently replaced it with a combination of ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and open source Flash Video Splitter; This combination has been recommended as being superior to my old codec pack.

  If I open an application (MYOB accounting software) from a shortcut on my desktop it opens into the backup folder (probably because that's where I left the program). How do you go up a level to find the MYOB file in the folder that contains? Where is the a high level button in the Explorer of Windows 7? If it was deleted, then why? That was the spark that has decided to make life difficult for us? I thought that Microsoft were supposed to make life easier for us, not more difficult.

  There are several third party programs, you can buy (and a free only).   Look for the card reader or Card Export II.
