Cannot display PDF Firefox 3D content

Hello
I am trying to display a 3D PDF file created from a 3d design software in the web browser, PDF file opens but 3D in the file content PDF does not appear, if I try to open the same in IE it opens perfectly. Any solution for this?

The current versions of Firefox have allowed a built-in PDF Viewer that has all of the features that other PDF as Adobe Reader readers have or can not work properly otherwise.

You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) to Preview in Firefox to use another application like Adobe Reader or define always ask in "Firefox > Options/Preferences > Applications.

You can set the pref pdfjs.disabled true on the topic: config page to disable the build-in the PDF Viewer.

You can check the value of pref plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types on the topic: config page and delete the application/pdf if it is present or reset the pref via the context menu by default if you want to display PDF documents in Firefox with another application (i.e. not integrated PDF Viewer).

We held 10.1.5 and 11.5.502.146 Flash drive [Windows 7] this week and discovered that you can't see a PDF file containing the Flash content.

We receive the message "to view the contents of the Flash technology in this PDF file, please install the required version of Flash Player.

According to the Adobe Reader Blog "as mentioned in the three Commons Adobe Reader and Acrobat security issues, unknown Flash is now rendered by the Flash Player (version NPAPI) system, when using Adobe Reader and Acrobat versions 10.1.5." Note: This has already been done for Reader and Acrobat 11. As already said, this means that the Adobe Reader/Acrobat users will no longer have to update Adobe Reader/Acrobat whenever we update the Flash Player. »

If this is true, why are we going to see this message?  And, how to allow us to solve the problem?

It seems that something has been added in the folder on the drive. I would recommend http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmluninstalling the program, running, removing any left over parts of the record player (this could be the problem), reboot and reinstall. If all goes well, that solved the problem. Future questions about the player, you should consider asking in the forum of reader, is not.

  • Cannot display pdf in browser

Until I updated to DC Acrobat and Reader DC I used to be able to display PDF files in the browser.

Now, I get this message and can not see any guest of the agreement, when I run the reader or acrobat DC application:

    readerDC.jpg

You see this message on a Mac if you have configured Chrome to use the Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin to view PDFs (chrome://plugins). This message is incorrect if you have already accepted the end user license agreement. We are working to correct the message, but using the plugin to display the files PDF in Chrome is not supported on Mac.

The chrome team decided to withdraw the support of plugins like Adobe Reader NPAPI. Here is a blog that describes their decision - http://blog.chromium.org/2014/11/the-final-countdown-for-npapi.html

To view the PDF files in Adobe Acrobat Reader ms, we recommend that you download the file in Chrome and open your desktop.

  • Urgent to work: cannot display PDF files, I am told to accept non-existent "End User License Agreement" for Adobe Reader?

Hello, I am truly grateful for everyone of help very urgent.  I cannot view PDF files, I'm using a mac update, safari and I says to accept non-existent "End User License Agreement", but when install adobe reader is never an option!

    Thank you very much!

No, not at all. Similarly, Applications (in the Finder), start you Mac applications. In the latest versions of Mac OS, you can also use the launch pad, which does the same thing.

If you think that it is which means 'open', or 'start' or 'run', it would be better, but the 'launch' is the official word from Apple.

  • Newb: cannot display PDF files in the browser

I have a new Windows 7 computer and have installed Acrobat Standard 9.3.2 and Reader 9.3.1.

Whenever I try to 'download' (i.e. display) a PDF file in the browser IE (or Firefox 3.6), I get the following error message:

"The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running cannot be used to view PDF files in a Web browser. "

Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  "Quit and try again."

The error remains the same that either Acrobat or Reader race / is not running before the attempt to download.  My workaround solution is to save the file to disk, and then open it.  It is a pain and should not be necessary.

Any advice anyone can give me to fix this problem will be received with thanks a lot!

  • Cannot display PDF files, automatically download instead

I use the pdf viewer integrated for centuries without problem. Today, for the first time, I found that I could see is no longer notes pdf for my Korean online courses. Instead, a record/download dialog popped up.

Initially this problem included all THE PDFs that I tried to open it in FF. It has been about 6 hours at this point, which is crazy - and I went through a considerable amount of solving the problems of methods (not necessarily in that order, apart from the last two):

    • Installed Schubert PDF Browser Plugin.
    • Disabled the PDF Viewer integrated via preferences > applications and move to a different Viewer: schubert... always had save box.
    • Installed the plug-in Adobe PDF... couldn't use (I use a Mac os x 10.7, + the plug-in Adobe is buggy and not a viable option for me)
    • Delete the mimetypes.rdf... no changes to the file.
    • Launched FF in safe mode... no change.
    • The built in Viewer again activated via preferences > applications > portable document format (pdf) > Preview in firefox.
    • Check that "pdfjs.disabled" has been switched to 'false' in subject: config... It has been.
    • About: config I have reset "plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types" by default, and then change the value to: ' video/mp4, application/pdf '.
    • Delete the mimetypes.rdf file.
    • Re-initialize the plugins database.

The problem continued until I reset my plugin database and tried to delete the mimetypes.rdf again and make another restart.

Now it seems that most pdf opens fine with the integrated Viewer and schubert. However the site which I fell initially on the problem with: http://www.koreanclass101.com doesn't open PDF and still opens the Save dialog automatically whenever I click on open the pdf links. It also does the same thing when I get the pdf directly in the address bar.

I have to pay a subscription so I'm not sure, you can go to this link without being a student, but here it's just in case: www.koreanclass101.com/pdfs/BB_L5_051611_kclass101.pdf

(to note this page of links to another pdf file that is not hosted on koreanclass101, and this pdf that opens now fine for me.)

I tried to clear the cache and cookies to koreanclass101, but even after this, the problem persists. I wonder if the fact that it has Korean text on the PDF of the questions at all? Although I don't know why he would do.

I really need a fix for this! The teachings are based on the ability to switch at the back of the audio in pdf format IN my browser. When I open the PDFs with preview and run interactive lessons in FF at the same time, FF slows down to a crawl and begins to hang whenever I go back and forth btwn programs.

As you can see, the Content-Type is correct, but a download prompt is forced with the Content-Disposition: attachment header. Install the add-on from InlineDisposition, then click on the PDF link again. It should then behave as you specified under Options - Applications.

    You are welcome.

  • Cannot display PDF files

With the help of AAR 2015.010.20056 on a Mac (OS X El Capitan 10.11.3) some of my files previously visible do not show a gray page dark instead of the usual contents.  Aren't the files newly created but used previously for example legal agreements.  If I'm going to print these files which seems to work and they print in the normal way.  If I select Preview against the file icon, I can see the content perfectly, but not in normal display mode.  I deleted AAR and reinstalled it and FlashPlayer and still have the same effect of gray page dark instead of the normal display of the contents of the PDF document.  Help, please.

    Hi stefanh17320936,

Follow this thread to reset the Acrobat preferences:- How to reset preference settings in format Acrobat.

Please also check if the files or network disk, move them to local & then check

Also the name of the application using which the file was created.

Please also check with the other user account with Admin rights & check for the same.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot display pdf for Adobe Reader XI forms

I have Adobe Reader XI. I must have clicked on something too fast because when I want to view a PDF it doesn't let me see it. He's going to try to make me save on my computer. How to reverse what I did and have the option to either view a pdf or save as?

The page I linked is not exactly what you need, sorry... You need to go to Tools - Options - Applications and enter "pdf" in the search field. Always select 'request' as the action associated with PDF files, and then click OK.

    That should do the trick.

  • difficulties to display PDFs on imac

I downloaded the latest version of adobe reader and still cannot display PDFs on my imac version 10.6.8... So frustrating...

Can you give us a screenshot of the message?

The only reason I can think straight casual to convey this message is that you can downloaded the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and your system has associated with the opening of pdf files. If this is the case, you can change file associations so that either preview or Adobe Reader (if you have it installed) will open pdf files.

Is he missing pictures then make sure you are not block images from certain domains (sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net).

    • Check the permissions for the domain in the active tab in "tools > Page Info > Permissions.
    • Check that the images are enabled: Tools > Options > content: [X] loading images automatically
    • Check exceptions in "tools > Options > content: Load Images > Exceptions.
    • See the tab "tools > Page Info > media ' for blocked images (scroll all the images with the cursor key).

If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

There are also extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and security software (firewall, antivirus) that can block images.

Firefox has stopped working on a single computer. • Cannot open .pdfs in Firefox

My wife machine is running Windows 8.1, Firefox 34.0.5 and Adobe Acrobat X Standard. Cannot open .pdfs in the browser. Clicking on a link to a .pdf file will open a new tab which will close immediately, leaving me right back where I was, as if I had never clicked the link. I can right click and then save money, download the file and open it in Adobe Acrobat X. But this is not what I want, and not the way it was designed.

Internet Explorer 11 open .pdfs in the environment described above, in the browser, with no problems.

I followed all instructions at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/972278 and http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-view-pdf-web.html. Instructions for Mozilla or Adobe can get operational.

As a nuclear option, I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat, rebooted the machine, uninstalled Firefox, restarted the machine, re-installed Adobe Acrobat, rebooted the machine and re-installed Firefox and rebooted the machine. Attempt for opening yields .pdf to the same result, even after uninstalling and reinstalling everything. What happens here? Why Firefox opens a blank tab and then close it immediately? Block jump - rises is set to off, and blocking the windows blocker disabled.

My own computer that is running Windows 7, Firefox 34.0.5 and Adobe Acrobat X Standard opens .pdfs in browser very well, without any problems.

Any advice? I'm pulling my hair out! Thanks for your time.

    Hey,.

    Try the following:

    • Go to setting (3 bars) > options > applications.
    • Under the applications Panel.
    • Find Portable Document Format (PDF) from the list and click on it to select it.
    • Click the drop-down arrow in the Action column for the above entry and select the name of use (in Firefox) PDF reader or preview in firefox.

If the PDF files are always downloaded instead of poster, try these solutions
    Reset download actions

    • Open your profile folder:

    Click the menu button

    click Help

and select troubleshooting information. The troubleshooting information tab will open.

In the section the Application databases, click view folder. It will open a window with your profile files.

    Click the menu button

    then click on leave

    Delete the mimetypes.rdf file.

Then open firefox again and see.

    I hope it helps.

  • Firefox cannot display Chinese characters correctly. How to fix?

I have portable firefox with the add-on Chinese language pack, but whenever I open any website in Chinese, the characters are not correct this so I couldn't recognize them.

Firefox cannot display CJK characters unless East Asian language support and CJC fonts are installed.

XP this is not the case by default because two support East Asian languages and languages (C.i.) complex script must be installed separately.

If you will not be able to see the Chinese characters, unless you install far East support.

Otherwise, you will need to use another computer.
