  Flash in Internet Explorer 64-bit is not Possible yet

  If you use Windows 7 64-bit, you can use Flash with Internet Explorer, but you must use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer - in the use of the start 'Internet Explorer' Menu and not the one named "Internet Explorer (64-bit).

  In the future Adobe will support 64-bit for Flash on Windows, but for now, you must use the regular 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.

• Cannot install Flash Player for Firefox

  I am running Windows XP it with SP4.  IE and the latest version of Firefox are installed.

  In IE and Firefox, trying to install Flash Player with the standard binding, I get an error message in a small window opens, the title "getPlus + (R): error," text 'Cannot load a GUI,' box 'OK '.  I got this by locating a stand-alone installation for IE, who uploaded a file to install it on my computer.  However, this does not work in Firefox, even when access to this link from Firefox.  The file runs, but Flash Player still shows as not installed in Firefox.

  I can't find any program separate stand-alone installers for Flash Player for Firefox.

  This error seems to be generated by the Adobe getPlus product installer.  My thought was to uninstall the Adobe installer and try again.  However, the Adobe installer appears in the list of installed programs, accessible via the Control Panel, BUT by clicking on the button to uninstall the program does nothing.  The program is still present.  I can't find a location for the installer from Adobe on my hard drive.

  Hi Chris, I'm very well know the DLM/getPlus/getPlusPlus/NOS. :-) I see that you are too much now :-) Most users have no problem removing DLM to Add/Remove/programs and features through Control Panel.

  There are a number of things to check. Using IE, go to tools > Internet Options. Click settings, and then view the objects. There that anything appearing on the above?

  When you tried to delete the DLM, were using the administrator account?

  Now, using the start SEARCH, enter in the "part of the name of" gp.ocx and note where it is and right click and delete it. Then, run a SEARCH on gp.inf and do the same thing.

  Did you uninstall Flash Player using the Adobe uninstaller program then try again to install FP in FF?

  I have some info Add ' l on the DLM, etc and will try to get it.

• Install the Flash Player for other browsers on Windows 8

  Hello

  I would like to install Flash Player for other browsers (specifically for steam) on my laptop which runs on Win 8 but I have questions.

  When I run the installer and then click Yes in the user account control dialog box, nothing happens afterwards.

  I checked the Task Manager and Setup runs indeed but I don't see anything happening (been over half an hour).

  I tried closing the trial of the program, download the file again, and runs the installation program - but the same problem.

  I'm trying to reach the site of adobe flash player. It baffles me in 3 different places. The last says it's a matter of adobe site. I'm unable to watch videos.   What web browser do you use? Flash Player is already built into Internet Explorer.

  If you have problems to view Flash content online, run Windows Update and check if there are updates available for Flash.

  You can also try the following:
  Click Start, type: Internet Options
  Press enter
  Select the "Advanced" tab
  Under reset Internet Explorer settings, click "reset".
  This should restore the Internet Explorer default settings.

  Or try another browser like Google Chrome.

  Another thing to try:
  IE open on the desktop
  On the Tools menu, click compatibility view settings
  Check the download updated lists of Microsoft compatibility

  If you do not see the Tools menu, press and hold on the title bar, this will display the shortcut menu, make sure that theMenu bar.

  Please follow the instructions:

  (1) download the zip fle: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp _10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0_archive.zip

  (2) extract the entire contents of desktop or Documents

  (3) you will find the 'flashplayer10_1r102_64_ub_mac.dmg' (Flash Player Installer for MAC PowerPC) under folder "/ Flash Player 10.1.102.64/10_1r102_64.

  (4) make sure that no browser is running (Safari or Firefox or Chrome)

  5) double-click the installer

  I have a problem with your Flash Player download page. I don't know when you changed it, but it was once possible to download install Macromedia Flash Player from this site before.

  Because Google Chrome has already integrated FP (thanks! I already knew, otherwise why would I go on this site?) It is simply not possible to download the installer I need for Webkit to steam.

  Visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer using the browser Chrome, the phrase "You have a different operating system or browser?" is a link to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ where you can download the Flash Player.  On this page, select the operating system you have and then either the ActiveX (IE) or one version of Flash Player Plugin (other browsers).

  Althernatively, you can download the files directly by using the download links posted here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#mai n-pars_header.

  Hi, try to download the Adobe uninstaller program on your desktop:

  Then download the installer from the Internet for Flash Player and SAVE it to your desktop:

  http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/flashplayer/Current/Install_flash_player_ax.exe

  Make sure you use the administrator account and close all browsers, disable all applications that may be in the system tray (messengers, etc..) Then, run the uninstall program. When it is finished, restart. When fully charged, Rebooot new (to remove the old files)

  Then run the uninstall program and reboot once.

  Test here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

  Then check your Web sites to see if they work now correctly.

• Need to download Flash Player for Opera 12 other site

  With Opera 12.17, the install button disappears less than a second, so I can't install Flash Player the normal route (advertisement blocker or not).  And the alternative macromedia site which was available earlier in the year is no more.  Because I just did a clean 8.1 Win Pro (x 64), for installation of the FP is there another site - or another way?  Thank you
