    Is there a way to print an e-mail to a PDF file with the new start screen email application or the browser. Writer PDF on my PC (CutePDF) is to the mail-list print app or browser, but when selected and clicked on any "file name and the location of dialog soothe and if anything as saver I don't see where.» All works ok if the desktop browser is used for the mail or print website.  My email a/c's with outlook.com

    It's very strange, these applications are supposed to be able to share in OneNote, but I dwell on that for now, because you're really preferring to make a file and not just send it anyway to a laptop.

    Honestly, I think you might be better off using desktop programs so that they behave more predictably. This modern environment optimized touch screen just is not very powerful and tends to have default behaviors that are more than a "take or leave" something you can customize.

  • Save a pdf file showing multiple work plans into a SINGLE pdf PAGE

    Hello

    How can I save my pdf so my 4 work plans presents a single PDF PAGE? (I don't want to merge 4 rebounds in a single pdf FILE, but I want to be able to see all the work plans of the 4 side by side in a single file pdf.)

    Can I choose when opening the pdf file, or what I need to record a special way in Illustrator, to have my 4 work plans?

    Cordially Grimkarklud

    What you want to do is to convert your work plans by plowing the pages. I tried with CS4 (saving up to CS), and the main problem I've had is having to close the gap that has been previously between work plans.

    Help Adobe seems to imply that the CS5 works better

    If you save a document Illustrator of multiple-work plan in a previous version of Illustrator, such as CS3, you can choose to save each work plan in a separate file, as well as a master file that includes all the merged work plans. »

    If you try CS5 save up to CS3.

  • CANNOT OPEN TWO OR MORE PDF FILES AT THE SAME TIME

    Since Adobe Acrobat is released, I could double click on any PDF and it will open a new window.  I use six monitors so I could open and compare six different PDF files at the same time.

    Then all of a sudden about two years, all PDFs started tile in the same window.  This made side by side comparisons is impossible.    What's crazy is not a single person I contacted can understand it.  Even the most intelligent guy (even Adobe technicians) cannot understand how the do-but it was something he always did in the past.

    This is such an obvious feature and the answer should be easy.  Someone on another forum suggested this, but there is no button or option checkbox "Display each document in its own window" - which is what I'm actually trying to do.  The person who asked this question is in the graphic industry told me that she never found an answer after more then 3 years asking.

    What the devil?  Nobody really knows the answer?  Wow.  If I had to open a MS Word window and click on the program again, it would keep opening more and more windows side by side, so I can compare, cut and paste.

    Nobody knows the answer to this simple problem?

    I use Adobe Acrobat 7 and 7 Professional.

    Edition > Preferences (ctrl + k), under Show place settings check "display each document in its own window" and for good measure, clear check to "open interdocument links in the same window.

    Hi Julia,

    Acrobat 7 is not supported by Adobe & its not even compatible on Windows 7. It is not possible to predict how the application on an unsupported environment will behave.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot export to single pages facing pages

    Hello

    I have a 60 page document + that I created to deal with pages. It is a magazine, so I had to work in spread because much graphics extend over two pages.

    My problem is that I was invited to make the final PDF file 'single page' - spreads. Each page must be hers.

    I tried to turn off the coast facing pages under the heading "Configuration document", but it did not split graphs that spans two pages (IE, I have a header that covered two pages and when I turn off 'facing pages', the header is attached to the 'left' page and space where half right of the image should be is not in the "right" page.) I understand that it is an object, but there should be a way for her to 'split').

    I can't find another way to transform the export of single pages. I either export it to PDF and get "spreads" (two pages face-to-face somehow transformed into a long page) or I lose half of my content.

    I'd appreciate any help - it's a huge head and rather sensitive time.

    (By the way, I had this problem once before, when I was more inexperienced.) I did save two versions of the file: 1 vote against and facing pages and the other with facing pages turned off. Then I copied the 'spread' from the 'facing pages' file and pasted on the page "right hand" of the non-pages file (it's the cut part of the graphcis that spans two pages). I don't know if I explained that very well. It of obviously awkward, takes a LOT of time and spatial memory (which causes my system to slow down a lot), and I found myself with a couple of headers that were a couple milimeters off.  I feel that I'm totally missing something: I think that the duty to spread fashion design and have the file finished in simple pages would be a common thing to do).

    I'm starting to see a trend where new users seem not to grasp the concept of what is a "page", and what is a gap. A page's layout unit, that you specify in the settings of the documents, if arranged as connected or not. A gap is a page or group of pages that are accessed by side (the first page of a book is laid out as a single page spread, for example, with pages double suite). Spreads are constructed from the pages and are a convenient way to work, allowing you to see that a reader will see in a finished printed publication and work in related pages in a single view, but they do not have magical powers to change the size of the page, just because you're looking at the two pages together.

    Pages in spreads remain independent pages. They can be moved to new locations without moving their companions, and when you print or export (with the exception of the interactive PDF in CS5 or later) by default, you get simple pages, no matter how they could be organized on the screen. You define documents as pages face to face time to display the "spreads" as a unit while you work and be able to create a "handedness" in the provision, i.e. pages that are distinctly to the left or right clearly, based on the number of page. This means that you can have different margins or headers and feet, or other objects as the color bars on the two halves of your broadcast, and that these things can be put on the master pages to apply automatically.

    If you start using pages face to face, your default master page is a double page that can accommodate this handedness. If later, you go to the preparation of the Document and uncheck the facing Pages to break out "spreads" you also lose the ability to use the left side of your master page and and if there is no asymmetry in your layout will be lost, and your document will be destroyed, then uncheck face pages prior to export is both unnecessary and a very bad thing to do.

    STIX said, if you export PDFS for printing, there is nothing special at all you need to do to get the unique pages. Just make sure that you did not check the box of spreads. Interactive is a little different. The box was apparently omitted design with the default state set to export pasta to spread (sometimes the engineers do not understand how we work as designers), but there are two approaches to the problem of spreads for export unique to interactive PDF pages. Script he mentions is easy and practical and changes the State of the missing box and is probably what you want, but it is also possible to "split" a spread in individual left and right spreads errors and they will export this way regardless of the State of the checkbox. "" The method is described in InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Pages Breaking Apart to bleed off the coast a spine

    One caveat, however, using the "spreads" split, is that objects that cross the spine are on one page or the other when you are done, not on both pages, so you must copy the and paste in Place where they are absent on the opposite side.

  • Lotus Notes e-mail messages to PDF files conversion

    I'm trying to convert Lotus Notes emails to PDF files. From a functional point of view, it can be done, but there is a problem.

    During the conversion of the emails in the Inbox, the names of the senders are indicated in each line. This part is fine.

    During the conversion of e-mail in the sent box, the names of the recipients do not appear. Only my name. With hundreds or thousands of emails, it would be much easier if the names of the recipients are displayed in each line, because there could be hundreds of recipients. Much easier to find emails with the names of the recipients. Is there a configuration I could do to change this?

  • Cannot use 'Place' to edit pdf files more?

    I noticed with some pdf files I could use the "place" command to remove a page from a PDF in illustrator CS3, and it is editable.  I had already been using the open pdf, then copy and paste into my doc before I realized that I could do that.

    Recently however, place does not result in being editable pdf, so he's back to open (create a new doc) and copy - paste (into my doc of work).

    Can someone shed light on this please?

    The reason why you were able to put a PDF file and do it immediately editable has that you have selected the link checkbox when you were presented with dialogue/navigation square box. When you place a PDF file you are given a choice of link or no link. If you create a link, you need to incorporate to make it editable. If you Place the selected link the placed PDF is immediately editable.

  • How to create a custom action to split a PDF file into multiple pages in Acrobat DC?

    I can create a new action to 'organise pages', but I don't see any way to specify sharing options. (Being a member of the subgroup Split Pages organize in the section main tools...)

    Use JavaScript to the Acrobat SDK sample script below.  Note You must change the cPath to a directory on your hard drive (by c/example/folder Action / is equivalent to the path on your drive hard "C:\Action Folder").

    / * Extract pages to the file * /.

    // Regular expression used to acquire the base name of file

    // filename is the base name of the file Acrobat is working on

    var filename = this.documentFileName.replace(re,"");

    try {for (var i = 0; i < this.numPages; i++)

  • Cannot open Epub, but correct pdf files

    Hello

    When I try to download an ebook of kobo, all files pdf opens automatically in the Adobe digital editions. However, all of the epub files will not open in the form of books, just zip files. I tried save them on my computer and opening, but they save as a zip folder and simply open the subfolders that contain pieces of the ebook. It's really frustrating. I hope someone can help me. Thanks, DS.

    One vial .epub is a disguised... zip file it seems as if your default opening programme is evil.

    Check first if you can open the Digital Editions (ADE) drag - .epub files move on ADE or by file/add to linbrary (ctrl-O).

    If it's ok, associate .epub files to ADE. can be easy, sometimes clumsy...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Sometimes the recording of the ADE for Windows as the default handler for files .acsm and .epub does not;
    This is what causes the double click in Explorer gear;
    especially in Windows 8/8.1 and maybe 7.
    This seems to be a bug in Windows (for once not a bug in ADE).
    Two possible ways around it.
    First of all, try to force it to explore
    Right-click on an .epub file (and if necessary, repeat the full sequence for .acsm)
    Select 'Open with' If on the list, 'open' if not.
    Select "choose default program".
    Select ADE if it's on the list.
    Otherwise select "options" and go to the executable of the ADE (may be C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Digital Editions\digitaleditions.exe)
    Now the fichiers.epub/.acsm must be associated by ADE, and a double-click should work.
    Sometimes, Windows allows you to go through it all, but then refuses to make the association you have requested.
    In this case, the only way I know is to use a third part program file association.
    http://www.Softpedia.com/get/system/system-miscellaneous/types.shtml works for me.
