I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the document (replacing the existing document) and close. Then another person can open the same document digitally sign another area of the form, save it, and close it. So on, and so on. Is there a way to do this? At the end of the day, I would end up with a PDF file with literally hundreds of signatures to enable different ACC everywhere...

I don't understand what the problem is. In the post of the davidr96549424 on May 8, 2015 07:58 you presented a structure of a correct document. Is the issue of the creation of this structure in a PDF file? For this, you will need an Acrobat, not reader.

XI in Acrobat, select Tools-> forms-Edit. Click 'No' on the form fields 'detect '. In the tasks Panel that opens, click on "add new field". Select "Digital Signature" and move it to the location in the document where you want to than the appearance of the signature to be. Repeat that for signature fields as you want. Users will sign by clicking on the prepared unsigned signature field which shows the dialog box "sign. Do not forget that as TSN has noted that a digital signature applies to the entire document. The entry in the document where it is is irrelevant. Each next signature covers all previous signatures.

Your users can also sign a document from anywhere that they want without signature fields already prepared. For this select fill & sign-> work with certificates and the type of signing you want to sign up with. A dialog box that will tell you a rectangle for the appearance of signature rises and after you draw the rectangle of the dialog 'Sign' rises.

PDF/Acrobat doesn't have a limit on a number of signatures in a PDF document. But! Don't forget that when you open a PDF file with Acrobat/Reader signatures valid all of them and takes time (several seconds - until 10 - for every signature), so if you have several signatures of dozens of their validation open can take a long time.

I don't know how build you your workflow so that each person signs the same PDF and saves it. Economy runs on the same computer where the PDF is stored. You'll have to decide how to allow different people to have access to the same PDF. They, of course, you may sign this only one-at-a-time PDF.

  • I am trying to edit a PDF file and it still tells me to buy Acrobat Pro, but I have already and am refunded until May 15, 2015

I am trying to edit a PDF file and it still tells me to buy Acrobat Pro, but I have already and am refunded until May 15, 2015

A common cause of this is buy Acrobat Pro, but not use it. Instead, some people not to install Acrobat Pro, or they install but continue to use the free Adobe Reader software. Check this. Adobe Reader (Acrobat Reader) and Acrobat Pro are two completely different applications.

    Impossible.

PDF files do not stream - before anyone can open the file, it must be downloaded.

I am trying to convert a pdf file to an excel file and simply cannot understand how.  I have a paid subscription, but invites me to register again?

    HI wjleshe,

I checked your account using the email address you use here in the forums, but I don't see any order history. May register with a different email address? Or you sign up via the player mobile app for iOS or Android? If you got your subscription via an in-app purchase, Adobe wouldn't have the time of your order. And, you should contact the app store, if there is a problem with your subscription.

    Best,

  • I'm trying to convert a pdf file to an excel file and I get a message saying that I am not connected to the internet, clearly I am connected.

I bought the program to convert PDF files to Word, Excel, files etc.  I am logged in and try to convert a word file as an Excel file.  It shows that I am connected to my account, I guess, (it shows my name at the top) and I clicked the export file, choose the file to convert, click Excel in the box, to convert language was English, then click the Convert button blue.  It looked like it was working, then in seconds, said that I was not connected to the internet.  I tried to do this several times (on two different days) and get the same message, not connected to the internet.  I am connected to internet, I go to my browser and load anything.

Thanks for any help!  I feel desperate to get this project underway.

  • New files created when to split a PDF file using the Adobe SDK are much higher than expected

Hello. I use the kit Adobe SDK to split large PDF into a set of small PDF files, using a set of page ranges. I created 2 PDDocs.  One is for the original PDF, which I open it.  In the other, I insert a range of pages of the original.  I'm doing this for each set of pages.

    objPDDocNew.InsertPages (-1, objPDDoc, startPage - 1, lngPageCount, 0)

It works fine, except that the combined size of the smaller PDF files is 10 or more times the size of the original PDF file! Y at - it an explanation for that? Y at - it a setting that I can put to reduce the size of the output files? I run my program of my Windows 7 desktop that has Adobe Acrobat XI. Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can get an idea on what elements are the use of how much space in the PDF file by opening the various Acrobat Pro files, and then select file > save as other > optimized PDF - then click on the "Use of space Audit" button in the upper right corner of the dialog box that opens. When you compare the use of the space of your source files with the file target that you can discover what is causing the increase in the size.

  • I'm trying to convert a PDF file to a Word Doc.  I click on convert and then connect and it says can not find the network.

I get a network error when I try to connect to the sidebar of a PDF file that I am trying to convert.  How can I fix it?

    Hi christinemsd,

Looks like you can try to access the service through Adobe Reader. What happens if you connect directly to https://cloud.acrobat.com ?

  • Chrome does not recognize my creative cloud installed and active acrobat. I'm trying to download a PDF file from Web sites and to get the message that I must first launch acrobat and sign the user agreement, but acrobat is already underway.

    Hello

I recently tried to switch my browser to Chrome of Safari, which I never use and I'm pretty happy with Chrome overall I had to go because I can't recognize my installation of Adobe Acrobat.

He always tries to open them in the preview of a PDF from the web and then if I try to export it as a pdf after sitting and wait a long time for it "thinks" I get error that I need to launch adobe acrobat and accept the user agreement.

    But acrobat already running!

    Any ideas?

If you are on a Mac, I've read that Google has recently changed to Chrome so that it cannot use Adobe PDF plug-ins. These have been not supported for many years in all cases. I suggest you to use Safari when you need PDF files (but noted that the Mavericks Apple stopped using Adobe plug-ins, however in this case, there IS a solution).

  • Trying to remove a .pdf file and get the error: the action cannot be completed because the file is open in another program.

Believe me when I say that I restarted the computer and fresh with nothing open.  I tried to remove the .pdf and I always get the message below.  Any other tricks I can try?  HELP!

So, we finally found the problem.  Since I had the Windows preview window selected in my settings, when you try to remove any PDF, Windows is the thought that the file is open on a preview pane.  Once we cut the setting, I could delete the PDF file.

  • Sometimes it takes 4-5 tries to open a PDF file

    Hello

Several colleagues and I are having problems when we use the adobe reader software to open pdf files.

Some use the latest other worm. 10.1.6.

It does not matter if the PDF file is placed locally, on a network drive or on a Web page.

I tried to remove and reinstall, but no difference.

    Best regards from JAcob

    PS. I'm under win 7

A new version 11 is here, and it works.

You must download it from Adobes Web page! If you choose to update in Adobe Reader proberly said "no availeble updates"
