Cannot edit links in my pdf

I use Adobe Acrobat Version XI 11.0.5 to edit a pdf file.

The pdf file has links that it contains that need to be changed.  The links work now, but I can't change them.

I followed the instructions here under 'Edit a link Action'-> links and attachments in PDF, Adobe Acrobat files

When I double click on my link, however, I have the option to create a new one instead of changing the old.

Help, please!  If it's important, this file was originally created in Microsoft Word.

Go to Edition - Preferences - general and check "create links from URLS". Only the links disappear once you do this? If so, they are not the actual links, but something the application adds (if enabled) when it encounters URL in the page. Therefore, you cannot change by using the Connector tool.

  • I need assistance with relative links in a PDF interactive

Recently asked me to create an interactive PDF which could serve as a user interface to access a number of files from the client.

The files are broken down into about 30 folders and subfolders, and there is a link from the PDF file in each folder, each containing several PDF files or image. I created the document in InDesign CC and it works well on our network, but the problem now is moving the whole project to the customer via a USB key.  Moving the files this way will break all links.

The question is twofold: 1) how can I make the project works fine as a standalone unit on the key USB. and (2) how can I make sure when the customer moves everything on their network, it will still function properly?

To get what you want, you need make the main folder, interactive PDF and link files then open the interactive file in Acrobat and perform a re-edit of all what he.

  • What software do I need to add a clickable link to my PDF?

What software do I need to add a clickable link to my PDF? I used a trial of Adobe Acrobat for this in the past, but I wonder if there is an easier way to do it. The only thing that I would need of Acrobat is the ability to add clickable link in my PDF. Is there another way to do this? I have Photoshop and Illustrator.

    Hibitsycreations

I suggest that you should buy Adobe Acrobat Pro DC membership specifically for the feature you're looking for.

You can get the subscription at different prices depending on the plan you choose and we have a month to payment plans membership as well as those where you can choose to pay in advance for the whole year.

Please check the link below for the options available:

Pricing plans and creative Cloud membership | Adobe Creative Cloud

Also since you already have the Photoshop and Illustrator, I suggest you try to go to the subscription complete creative cloud that would include all three requests and would also pocket friendly.

Please let me know if you need help.

  • Cannot add links in the calendar Apex5

    Hello

I'm trying the new calendar that is introduced in Apex5 and I am facing the slot issue when I try to add create or view/edit links through the attribute. The error is less. This error only happens if I add links, otherwise it works fine.

I tried with the Universal theme Sample Application packaged so application. Page number 1800 had the sample calendar and I am facing same problem when I add links here as well. Please help me with this.

Run the page, and you will encounter the error I am talking about.  Once you see the error, please access the calendar attributes and remove the link create and run the page again. This time you won't get an error. If please see this and help me to create links in this calendar.

As noted in the online help for the calendar attribute to create a link, the link must pass the selected values of the calendar to the target page:

Enter a page target to be called when the user clicks on an empty cell, or outside an existing calendar entry.

You must use substitution variables, as special calendar

    and

to switch the date selected in the calendar to the target page.

The link works when the target page contains an element that has a value of selected calendar may be passed to, and the value is passed in the link:

    f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.:2:P2_START_DATE:&START_DATE.

  • Syntax of the apex to create edit link

    Apex 4.2

I have a report that I'm working on that uses a custom edit link embedded in the query. The query along the lines of:

    SELECT
    first_name as FIRST,
    last_name as LAST,
    '<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:67:APP_SESSION.::::P67_PERSON_ID:#PERSON_ID#"><img src = "/i/edit.gif" alt=""></a>' as LINK_COLUMN
    FROM PERSONS

I want to report link to the information page (Page 67; report is on page 66). However, there is a problem with the syntax. On the report, I can click on the link for each line. It'll take me to the next page, but his has not managed the information on the next page, based on the past PERSON_ID.

I think another way would also use javascript.apex: submit {} but I'm not as familiar with this syntax as well. I did some searching on google but I encounter difficulties still generate this link.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You mix the Apex syntax (like token #PERSON # and & substitution variables) with SQL syntax - and expect that everything works like magic.

The syntax of the token # is applicable only in the column properties (for example, the definition of HTML column or column URL/link definition) in a report of the Apex. It has no meaning in SQL.

If you want to generate the URL under the projection of the SQL then use:

    select
      first_name as FIRST,
      last_name as LAST,
      '' as URL
    from persons

And as Frank commented - please use the correct forum area in the future when ask what apex questions.
