I have just a build a Plan2 my application data form - this form is identical to the shape, I built the Plan1 of the same application, however data from forms on Plan2 are totally read-only while the same form for Plan1 is ok to enter data (both forms are unchecked read-only).   All depends on what your plan of source is of type...

  You have account 1 and the type of source is plan1

  If you create a form against plane1 then you will be able to enter data into account1 because the originating plan type (where it stores data) is the same as the type of form.

  If you create the same shape but against plan2 then you will not be able to enter data for account 1 because you go to a different plan type, so it's going to be just read-only.

  No you're not. In an application of multi currency GBP is a reporting currency. 'Local' is the local currency.

  All entities, regardless of their local currency, can enter data only in the "Local".

• Cannot enter data in forms still in white blood cells

  Hi again,
  
  I've logged as an administrator and have the sample planning successfully deployed application to Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and loaded data. I am able to see the forms with data now, but I'm not able to enter data even in white blood cells in the base level member. I have checked the start and close both years and is in the range. I thought I should be able to see the color light yellow to indicate the active cells, where data can be transferred. Am I missing something? Your help is very appreciated.

  1. create the data source.
  2. create the planning an Application.
  3 initialize the example of planning an application.
  4. register the application with Shared Services Group Application, planning.
  5. create the database.
  6 load data into the cube Essbase of EAS.

  If this is the same application, you should not need to change the beginning / the end year/period, if you were not allowed to enter then it seems gray and read-only.

  If it's not patched 11.1.2.2 version, then you need to double click in the cell to enter data, after its entry into the cell needs to change to yellow.

  All the fields have been defined as ReadOnly... .then they carry a tab stop, but the user cannot interact with the efields th. Open the form in the designer. Click one of the fields, and then open the Palette of the object. On the value tab you will see the Type as the value of ReadOnly. Change this to the user entered as an option. Repeat for each field.

  I use Firefox for many years without any problems, but just recently, although I can connect to any site and discover anything, I can't enter data. For example if I type a comment on Facebook, I can't post, nothing happens. Similarly, I can make payments online through my line on the Bank's website.   Very strange, the problem is now gone, I can do messages and payments without problems that I mentioned at the outset. Only difference I can see, is that I now use Firefox 35.0.1. In any case, my problem disappeared, so I won't spend much time on development why it happened.

• Enter data into the empty cell inserts the invalid main character

  When I enter data in an empty cell, for example 1 in a column, and then click validation I get the error ORA-01722: invalid number. Although I do not see the character in front of the 1 I use RIGHT twice after reaching HOME in this cell to get the cursor to the right of the 1, if a character appeared in front of the 1. Hit the BACKSPACE deletes the invisible character, and now I can commit the data entered.
  
  The same thing seems to happen when you remove a date using backspace in a date column. The use of return back once led to an error "ORA-01858: a non-digit character was found here where was waiting for a digital". I have to use the BACKSPACE again to get the empty cell.
  And the same thing happens in a varchar column too, although sometimes when he gets that space seems to be inserted in front of the text I entered, but this space is visible only when the cursor is not in the cell.

  It seems to generate an extra set of quotation marks around the SQL, in my interface it generates.

  SQL = "" "select C1_ACCOUNT 'Account', C2_PERIOD 'Period', C3_RESOURCE 'Resource', C4_DATA 'Data' of the" C$ _0TestApp_testData "where (1 = 1) «»

  Note the single quotes around the account.

  If you go to the topology Manager, on the tab of the physical architecture, right-click 'Hyperion Planning' > 'change '.
  Select the "Langugage" tab for the "JYTHON" line, make sure that the "Object Delimiter" field has no quotes, if it's remove and apply and save.

  This seems like it should be simple, but I can't find anything about it. I am creating a pdf form to fill out, and I need the data in a text field to appear in another text field.

  Example: The form has two sections, one for the applicant to fill in for the office only. There is a field for "Address of the project" in the two sections. The customer wants the address entered in the first field to be automatically enrolled in the second address field.

  How to make that happen?

  If you give the two fields of the same name, they will automatically have the same value. But if you want the second field you can edit independently the first address field, you can use the custom for the first field validation script. If the second field is empty, it will set the second value of the field to the same as the first.

• Suddenly cannot enter anything into some empty search fields, drop-down menus does not and javascript popups freeze randomly. WTH?

  I noticed a few things randomly does not not on my computer in the last month or two, and I have tried everything I can think to figure out what it is... still have not thought about it yet. Examples - I was on ebay and the tracking number, I clicked on the page 'My ebay' jumped open a javascript window, but then froze the page so I had to close the tab all. Then on Grooveshark, home page comes up, but if I type anything in the search field, I see what I type, but at the same time, I can still see their default search message. If I try to enter something and click search, it gives me just the warning that I wonder if I want to leave the page, he is never looking for.
