  I did not find TI Studio listed in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center. I suggest that you contact TI to see if they have an updated version.
  I found a new version of TI connect to be compatible with Windows 7. Not sure if you need it for TI Studio.

  You can also try compatibility mode.

  If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.

  Use the following steps:

  (1) right click on the program

  2) click Properties

  3) click on the Compatibility tab

  (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

  If compatibility is not successful, then try and run the program compatibility problems:

• I get an error "the disk hard virtual parent is in a saved state. Discard the saved state or stop the virtual machine and try again. "during the installation of XP mode.

  I have Win7 Pro SP1 x 64.  I downloaded WindowsXPMode_en - us.exe (from Microsoft downloads) and run it.  The installation seems to work OK (I've specified a different location for the parent virtual hard disk file).  Then, installation happening and I provide the information requested (name of user and password for the XP Mode), updates Windows and OK to the issue of sharing.  The installation program then reports the following error:

  The disk hard virtual parent is in a saved state.  Discard the saved state or stop the virtual machine and try again.

  I get the error even if I try manually configure XP Mode (use the Setup Wizard).  I downloaded the installer XPMode (3 times) and reinstalled several times, always with the same result.  If it helps, I can't locate anywhere .vsv file.

  Any idea what's going on?

  I think vCenter is detect the Delta for this virtual machine and warning me that I have to consolidate the snapshot. However, I do not want to consolidate the snapshot because the database is still running when the snapshot was taken, and there is a great chance that the data will be corrupt when I consolidate this delta disk file.

  I looked towards the top of the Knowledge Base, but it does not say how to stop the message without actually consolidate the snapshot.

  the message will disappear as soon as snapshots are consolidated.  There is no way to remove the message otherwise.  Just think of it as a reminder that the snapshots should be engaged.

  You have long strings in the Notes field? If so, this is a known bug with a fix coming - the format code OSX on 10.8 a of bugs that are fixed in later versions. By changing the text to be shorter, and then reopening the settings pane, you can work around it.

  where does say desktops are hosts?  A host is usually referring to an ESXi server.  A virtual machine is just the guest OS running on the host computer.  A pool is a group of VMs that can extend over several hosts.

  This should do the trick for you.  In fact, it extends the computer object complete virtual with a property data store so you can still search the other aspects of the virtual machine.

  Why not save to a folder on your hard drive and burn them to a CD - R from there? I can't tell from the little you wrote if the problem is with Quicken (not work or you have incorrectly backup location) or with your CD - RW drive. How about more details to work with?   It is based on the average size of the virtual machine in the cluster.  If you look at the dashboard of capacity management in the user interface, it can give you more details by cluster.  It is based on the average of the use of min/max/AVG across all virtual machines in a period given (usually 90 days).  This can not be changed today, but there is work to allow lets you specify a size of slot for something as small, medium, large, etc...

  This feature exists in the Foglight for virtualization, however Standard Edition.  It might be interesting to watch this, if you need it sooner.

  Not all DVDs are the same, there are many different types and some DVD players may require a particular type
