  You can add a save button slot for your file, but not a button Save.

  Chrome uses its own PDF Viewer (incompatible).

  Download the PDF file to your local drive, then fill it out of there with Adobe Reader.  Or use a browser that uses the Adobe PDF plugin.

  I created a fillable PDF document on a server of acrobat pro (version 10), when I open the same thread in the same server with adobe reader (version 10.1.9) it works very well and I can't forms without any problems.

  But when I try to open the same exact file (from the path of the server) and the desktop of the computer, using adobe reader version 11, I see the forms I fill out but when I type nothing happens.

  I saw many topics around the forum and google but nothimg seems to help me.

  In file-> properties-> security, 'Filling form fields' option is allowed.

  On the top of the file, it is written "Plaese fill out the form below. You can save the data entered in the form. »

  I have this exact problem with many files with the same properties.

  The interesting thing is that this morning I was able to fill out some forms, all of a sudden I can't.

  Other employees of my company has had the same problem with the same files.

  We use both 7 operating system Windows and XP, the server is Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise.

  Thanks for posting on the forums. Please try the steps mentioned below, hope it helps.

  (1) open Adobe Reader 11

  2) click Edit > Preferences

  (3) go to the (improved) security

  (4) uncheck the box 'Enable protected startup mode' and disable the protected mode.

  5) click OK

  (6) close the Adobe Reader software

  (7) to open the screen and try to fill.

  Using a Mac with 10.6.2 just updated to Reader 9.3.3.

  I downloaded a PDF file that is supposed to get reliable form fields. The properties of so-called forms the filling of form fields is allowed.

  I can get my cursor flashes in every field but cannot get the text in this field.

  I tried PDF/A - never, does not help.

  First of all, ignore this. It just says that if there are fields to fill in, you would be allowed to fill them, but it does mean they exist.

  Which tool you have selected when you click on these areas. You must have the hand tool selected. If you ave chosen and hover over a field, what is happening.

  In addition, if there was a form to fill out, you should have gotten a message to that effect unless you have this disabled message.

  I have the full version of Acrobat 9 Standard, but I also have the trial version of Acrobat X Pro, in the hope that she would do what I need it to do.

  In my business, I have a 30 page document in PDF with form in all fields.  I send this form to my clients, and they fill it in, sign it and send it back.  I wish they were able to save the document so that they do not have to fill out the 30 pages together in one sitting, they can work on the forms for a bit, then reopen later.  So far, many of my clients have complained that they are unable to save the document at all.

  In addition, even if I'm here, I would also mention that I would like for these customers to put digital signatures on these documents rather than having to print, sign and scan or fax for me to hide.  I have white signature on the PDF in question, but I want to be sure that my customers end users having ONLY the reader can this sign digitally.

  Help?  Suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

  You must enable Extended Reader rights in Acrobat X Pro (file - save

  Can someone help me with this. I want to put a form validation field blank in the document set actions when a document is closed. Basically wanting a custom level data validation input.

  For example, form has 20 fields, I want 3 of them say name1, Group1 and age1 to generate a JavaScript alert when they are empty.

  If one name is empty it will say then only

• Filling out forms and then lock up

  I've created a form that has one of my clients can fill out and then send off to a client. Is it possible that once they have completed their form and before it sends out of their client that I can lock the form of editing. They use Adobe Reader X for the form.

  I was wondering if there was like a filled button I have created which would be loock it out before they emailing. The main reason for this is that they are the Bills they send and obviously they don't want their customers to be able to change the figures.

  To flatten their appearances fields are converted to standard page content, you can use the following JavaScript utility: http://www.uvsar.com/projects/acrobat/flattener/

  The other options that are available in Pro are optimized PDF and control upstream.

  I was talking about security standard password, which is studied in more Help doc. Acrobat notes that you don't have to set a password to open, just a Permissions password. It is also optional if you flatten it, since there is no interactive field for the user to change.

  Thanks for your reply, I searched about this on the web and found this: pre-fill the form with JavaScript - Rainbo Design fields

  and I did to fill the first field of the form with the example in the download of this way:

  I joined the form in my Muse page (add HTML)

  I included the link to the preset.js script in the settins on the page of Muse (head)

  I joined theVia 'Add html' on my page of Muse

  It worked! BUT I would do it with a simple touch of Muse (widjet), would it be possible?

  Once you combine a single PDF forms, you need to be able to edit the field values or access data? If this isn't the case, you can flatten each form before you collect in a single PDF file.
