Cannot get CS4 to start after change of disc

I changed boot drive on my macbook pro running OS x 10.9 to an ssd.

Since then, I can't start CS4 and he says has only licenses.

I had this once before a few years back when I had a disc problem and had to restore from a backup and I used the license recovery tool and managed to make it work. This time, I tried all the steps on the doc of recovery and the tool and still does not work. Maybe something to 10.9 of Mac OS x.

I talked to customer support and they say that they do not support for older products and suggest I go on forums or buy the latest version of product!

I have the serial number, but I don't have the software cd. I didn't think that I should be with backups etc..

I not even looked to see if the old version of CS4 free trial was available but the link on adobe prodesigntools site does not work either, so I guess that which was removed.

Can someone advise please because he is really stuck now?

I have still the old drive internal that I could boot from, but if I do that is there then a way to do something for transfer to the new player so he can work on there etc?

Thank you

Mike

If you follow the 7 steps you can directly download a free trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html

and activate it with your serial number.

If you have a problem downloading, you follow the 7 steps, or your browser accepts no cookies.

the most common problem is caused by the failure of meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

Unable to obtain the cookie translates into an error page displayed after clicking on a link on prodesigntools.com

    Hello

As you mentioned that you have "hard disk 500 GB (previously there were two HD in the old mobo)" which means the HD is also changed

Then I suggest to clean install to solve this problem, please follow the link to clean, install the windows

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/installing-reinstalling-Windows#1TC=Windows-7

    Note: data loss caveat:

Converting a hard disk partition or volume from NTFS to FAT32 requires that you reformat the partition, which deletes all the data on this subject. Be sure to back up data that you want to keep before you begin.

    Thanks for your response

I solved this problem in BIOS Advanced\SATA config\SB SATA config.  as follows

SATA port 1-4 = AHCI initially

SATA port 1-4 = new IDE

SATA port 5-6 = IDE these ports used with DVD, a comic book should be like ports 1-4

This because I've done a typical mistake of mine.   I did not save the configuration with the entry of FDI

    Here's the key:

We're working on two sockets and one does not at all.

You have a bad memory module. It happens very rarely, but it's not impossible to get a new stick of bad memory. Get the replaced bad and I think you'll be fine.

I put a windows disc now, I hear the disc spin but nothing on the screen

(I think that I have come to the right place on the forum)

    It s a Toshiba Satellite Pro L40 model psl4be.

    Thank you

    > There was no bios password... How would a BIOS reset to normal?

You can set the default BIOS ONLY inside the BIOS access BIOS by pressing F2 or at the beginning of the initialization of the order

But I doubt that this problem is related to the BIOS.
Maybe it s just a simple bad luck that this problem happened exactly after change something in the BIOS.

Try connecting an external monitor and check if you can see something on the 2nd screen.

  • Cannot get on my computer after you turn off FileVault

I can't get on my computer after you turn off FileVault. After reboot, he asked my name and my password. It didn't work and now I'm stuck at the connection. What should I do? The computer is new and I had nothing recorded on it.

Reboot into recovery (command-R) Mode. Then use disk utility to ERASE the drive. Select the top reader of the page entry and select Delete. This will erase, reformat, and create a single partition. Close disk utility, then select reinstall OS X OS X Utilities menu.

  • Can't get Firefox to start after OS updates

Just did the latest updates on OS - X 10.6.8 and now I can't get Firefox to start. He stands up and says he has problems (the 'annoying' window) and that I should try to close tabs. However, it does not at all, so finally I have to force quit. I try cold start the computer without effect.

We will try this. You said that you try to start Firefox 8 on the problem machine? Can you try to download Firefox www.getfirefox.com11, install it, restart your computer, and then see if it is still upward?

If this is the case, try to start Firefox in safe mode.

  • Cannot get my sync data after the reset password

    Greetings,
I have reinstalled the OS on my laptop and tried to Resync all my favorites etc. Last time I did this, it was no problem. However, this time, it would not accept my password for some reason any. It kept showing me "password incorrect" even if the password was correct. I had to reset my pass and after that I do not seem to have my data synchronized back. How can I solve this problem and get everything I need again?
    Thanks in advance.

The synchronization service uses a synchronization key to encrypt the data locally before you download
This sync key is generated internally from the password of your account from Firefox, you need not worry about this.
Without the password, it is not possible to decrypt the data stored on the server, because the good sync key cannot be generated.
This synchronization key changes when you change the password of the Firefox account and you will lose all data stored on the server when you change the password of the account synchronization.

  • OptiPlex 755 USFF does not start after changing the cmos battery

I have a desktop Optiplex 755 USFF requiring the cmos battery to replace. After the replacement of the computer will not start. It brings up the menu windows start, the sasfe mode, safe mode with network set mode command prompt, security, last know good configuration and boot normally. Any option will bring to the top of the WIndows XP loading screen and then re-boot of the computer right back to the start screen. A big loop. I can get the hard drive to boot in an Optiplex GX280 without problem. I was told of the motherboard needs to be replaced, but I changed the units of the system and the same thing with this hard drive.

I tried to reinstall the operating system and get all the way to "starting windows" and then the blue screen stop error message 0x0000007B (0xF7A10524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) dead. The computer is WIndows XP SP3, 1 GB of ram with 80 GB hard drive. It seems that the Setup program does not recognize the hard drive.

    Any help would be appreciated.

After several hours of experimentation, I finally found the correct BIOS settings in order to get the computer to boot. There are three BIOS settings that need to be changed or check settings by default so that it can work. SATA 0 must be activated, SATA operations must be changed from AHCI, ATA and in the modular Bay, by default "far-sighted" should be replaced by the IDE. Save the settings and start the computer to the right upwards.

  • Windows does not start after changing the partition with external software

    Hello

I messed up and followed some bad advice.  Water under the bridge, but I want to recover my bootcamp partition if possible.  I've seen several messages with the right process, but decided to post hear instead of assumptions.  I am running OS X El Capitan on an early 2011 MacBook Pro.  My 256 GB SSD is a bit pressed and tried to be too stingy with the Boot Camp partition, so my current troubles after resizing.  I have 10 Windows on the bootcamp partition.

I'm going to throw a bunch of data from my survey here.

  • My copy registered and checked for XP Pro SP3 does not start after changing the motherboard. Second problem is that I can't find my original install of XP Pro disc.

After failing to find the source of reliable performance from my PC, I decided to bite the bullet and replace the motherboard, memory and the CPU. I installed a triple base 435 Athlon and a motherboard Gigabyte MA74GMT. Awarded PC again started the first time - but Windows will not, I get a number of options but none work - safe mode brings up several lines of messages on the partition of multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0).

A previous post suggested that a similar message meant some kind of malware but if I replace the old motherboard, processor and memory Windows works very well - in fact I use it now.

  • When I right click on the icons to run where it shows the location of the opened file and run as administrator under that it says "start". Got rid of the virus, but cannot get rid of "start".

When I right click on the icons to run where it shows the location of the opened file and run as administrator under that it says "start". I ran 6 different viruses, malware, rootkit, scans etc. everything looks clean, but 'start' is still there when I right click the executable files. How can I get rid of him? I tried the System File Checker tool, it didn't work. When I click on "Start" it is not now open applications.

Do not know if it is any help.

Be careful when you change the registry so... Make sure that you have backups.

  • Getting blue screen error after changing the registry system, how can I do a system restore

Vista system was a repair to start and got stuck on 3/3

I can't start windows or even in safe mode

I do not have a backup of drive to back up either

I tried to rename it in the registry, now I get the Blue error message on what ever I did in the registry

When a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) the system failure occurs, for most users, there not enough time to fully record what he says. the exact text is important for anyone trying to diagnose what is wrong. You can save time when the error occurs then by following the procedure described below.

If you already did it disable the auto reboot system error. This should help by allowing the time to write the code to Stop error and related information correctly. Select Start, do a right-click on computer select Properties, advanced, system settings startup and recovery, system failure and uncheck the box before automatically restarting. Re-do not enable automatic restart in the event of system failure after obtaining this information, this setting is the best left to not allow an automatic restart.

If the failure occurs during the initialization of the computer, you need to try a different approach. You can access the Advanced Options Menu of Windows on multiple computers by constantly pressing the F8 (key) key when starting and selecting the option - disable automatic restart in case of system error. This method is not always easy to use because it may be difficult to press the F8 key at the right time. Try again if it doesn't work the first time. On some computers, a different key must be used.
