  Hi all

  I did a lot of research / reading via the internet (and forum) but I still cannot find a solution to this:

  -J' I saved my (drawings, texts, graphics) pdfs in illustrator.

  -J' have 'place' in Indesign.

  -In indesign, I click on 'Export', "adobe pdf (print)", "high quality print".

  Result: the texts on the embedded PDF files are blurred. I used 2 fonts - one is fine and can be changed in the exported pdf file (garamond);  'arial' looks pixelated & fuzzy.

  What I tried:

  -J' tried exporting as long as 'settings pdf X 1 a 2001' as it is mentioned that it is good for printing.

  -J' tried clicking on "do not downsample" in "all compression.

  -J' checked also "find the police", to see if the 'arial' is true fonts. This is the case.

  What can I do else? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

  Not the way to do it.

  In Illustrator just do a file > save and save I.

  Which place in InDesign and you should be all set.

  If a form has been made with LiveCycle Designer, it can only be edited in LiveCycle Designer. This is a permanent restriction, there is no course Acrobat. It is not a security problem.

  LiveCycle Designer forms cannot be made available as far as I know (but I could be wrong here).

  If repeat you a similar content to PDF format, there is no way to reintegrate into the designer. You cannot mix the tools in this way. It is possible in LiveCycle Designer, or it is not possible at all.

• Browser Microsoft Edge of Windows 10 will not be printed in Adobe PDF format

  I have Acrobat Pro XI full license (no subscription). I use print to Adobe PDF with Internet Explorer to save and check in the files of web page with no problems. Upgrade to Windows 10 and it's new edge browser. Print to Adobe PDF crashes during the process of creating Adobe PDF. Every time.

  Print to Adobe PDF still works with Internet Explorer and other applications like always. Edge will not print to the Adobe PDF format.

  Recommendations?

  Microsoft Edge browser does not support the Acrobat PDF plugin.

• Hyperlinks in PDF any works not in the export in PDF format

  I created an ad in InDesign using hyperlinks. I export this announcement as PDF and hypertext links are working fine. Import the PDF file in my magazine in InDesign. Then, when I export the magazine in PDF format, the links in the PDF file do not work.

  Other hyperlinks works very well. Hyperlinks in other imported PDFs work very well. It doesn't matter if the imported PDF document is linked or embedded. I also tried to import just the INDD file, but that no longer works.

  What Miss me?

  What Steve has said is true. Links to not carry on when a file is placed into InDesign, in this way. Bob also noted that be recognized hyperlinks only implied that Acrobat can detect. One solution would be to draw an empty frame on the top link in InDesign, convert it to a button and set it to the GoToURL action and enter the url. This in fact will have an impact on when exporting to PDF, as long as you have the hyperlink check box selected.

  I have attached a screenshot. This image shows the word red, KINGDOM, has been exposed, but I put the (unexposed) red text above (InD) to make it appear as being filled in the PDF file. Words in blue, ETERNAL and POWER, are also described and briefed on InD, but I do not you cover them (as KINGDOM), to show the appearance in the PDF file.

  I've also attached a screenshot of the original with the same text as InD doc indicated (accident 1pt stroke) which seems OK here before registration in PDF format.

  The word MINISTRIES is not described. It is the original text.

  It does not appear in 5.5, I recall. Any ideas? What is a parameter InD I missed or pref in Acrob Pro?  Thank you

  Now that I see this particular problem with the text of Bauer, I know how to deal with them in the future. I just wanted to be clear that this was no InD or PDF. Trajan is a close substitute. As Bauer is already established in the context of this logo, it must stay.

  Perhaps in the future the leaflets (with logo), I could save in jpg format only, which eliminates the problem of contour.

• Some items on the page will not be printed - even in pdf format!

  I'm kinda a newbie on Indesign (much better in Photoshop) and this is driving me crazy.  It's never happened before.

  I have a two page CMYK document.

  A part of the text (modified with pen base, transparency and angle) and the graphic still refuses printing, our laser printer or even in pdf format.

  A page prints perfect, the only other partially prints.  Both images and text.

  Any thoughts?

  If you want to make a PDF, export (to say "High quality print") do not print in PDF format.  Then try to print.  It could be that your printer is having problems with transparency should contribute to the export to PDF format.  You may need to use the parameter PDFx-1a if your printer drivers are quite old.

  If they are not there in the exported PDF objects may have a nonprintable attribute set, you can see this by selecting the element and looking at the attributes Panel.

  For now, I am trying to build a form to be distributed among customers and then sent back with full of information.

  I create the form in the designer, opt for delivery in PDF format, save them as PDF, open in Acrobat to extend the rights of users... but when I test the form... I get the news in XML format.

  I tried again and again and still got the same results. I m reeeeealy get frustrated.

  I just bought Adobe Creative Cloud and after recording a project on Adobe Illustrator CS6, I tried to open the program again an error message is coming, "Missing plugins required. PDF format.aip. »

  I checked the plugin folder and it's there, but I can't open Illustrator.  Other Adobe programs work, it's just Illustrator.

  Does anyone know how to solve this problem, so I can open Illustrator and get to work.  Thank you very much!

  I'm working on the incorporation of files of full OTF with table SBB in PDF. It looks like simple fonts (no CID-keyd) may be incorporated Type1 fonts and CID Type0 with type FontFile3 of OpenType fonts. Is there a difference in point of view of a reader type is used within a document?

  Also, as I understand it the PDF/A (which is inspired by PDF1.4) does not support open type fonts. This means that no matter how I use to fully integrate an OTF font with table SBB (like "Type0 or Type1 fonts PDF), PDF output will not be PDF/A compliant?

  Before PDF 1.6, the way one would incorporate a font of OTF in a PDF file would be to 'remove' the information from OTF and simply incorporate the police, either as a 1/SBB Type FTT, depending on the data type of the police inside the OTF.   These two are fully supported for PDF/A-1.

  With PDF 1.6, you can now directly integrate a font OTF (two types).

  As long as the police is incorporated correctly, a player of consistent ISO 32000-1 don't care what type you choose.  Of course, as stated above, a file A-PDF-1 must meet the requirements of the standard.

  I am running windows 7 64 bit and have v11.7.700.224 loaded Flash. I tested it and it works very well by looking at the Adobe TV. But I have an e-book (PDF) I bought recently which includes embedded videos. These videos does not launch when you click the activate. I get an error at the top of the page telling me to install the required version of Flash Player.Does this mean that the e-book requires an earlier version of flash to activate embedded videos or is likely to be another problem?
