• Cannot install updates Photoshop CS6

  I have tried everything to install the updates that I can think of, but still had no success.  The option to check the updates in Photoshop 6 is grayed out (I'm running Windows 7 on a relatively new machine).  I tried to download the update and install manually via the AdobePatchInstaller, but it also fails and I get the window that is shown below.  I tried to reinstall Photoshop CS6.  It does not either.  I disabled the virus checker (McAfee).  I am the only user on this machine (full administrator privileges) and have no problem with the installations of Lightroom or other updates from other programs.  There seems to be something with the Adobe Application Manager CS6.  What could cause the update be grayed out in the menu help of the CS6?  It seems that someone at Adobe would know.  I would be very grateful all help to address that I'm getting a new digital camera and at the very least, would be able to update camera raw, but the CS6 updates would be nice too.  Any thoughts on other things I can try...
