  With the 'solution' to the other thread, I was finally able to load the software for the printer on my computer, but then the computer is not grateful and in collaboration with the printer for some reason any.  I got the JO 4500 all-in-One machine to print with a generic driver to a different printer, but I couldn't use the other features like analysis.

  Now, when I plug in USB cable to the printer to the computer, nothing happens.  Other USB devices work fine, but the printer is not recognized as it should be for a reason any.  So, I installed the printer drivers and software, but now cannot complete the installation of the printer to work. What gives?

After successfully installing windows 7 I have a list of connected UN-installed in my device manager. The Toshiba site has only windows 8.1 drivers listed for this model then does that mean that I will be unable to correctly install windows 7?

  I'm scared, you're right Mr. your laptop model is not supported for Win7, so I think it will be very problematic to find all the right drivers, tools and utilities.

  What should do? Try installing the drivers found by Win7. It would be possible to install the drivers provided for other similar models supported for Win7, but it's not easy to find all the drivers.

  I have a U400-10N and it belongs to the series of PSU40E too.
  I installed all XP drivers with no problems!

  And your chipset it NOT T5750!
  You chipset is * chipset Intel GM965 * and the * CPU * is * T5750! * Big difference ;)

  So I recommend the update of Windows XP to the last State. Update and install all MS patches and hotfixes and then try to install drivers XP of the page.

  SOLUTION FOUND

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit on an ASUS Z97 - A motherboard and the driver could not be installed.  To get to the bottom line, I found a conflict with ASUS AiCharger + info.  While studying that, I started helping the ASUS AO and accept the prompt to upgrade to version 1.2.18.226.  After that, the driver for the webcam installed and the camera and software seem to work fine.
