  I also had this problem for a long time.

  After testing autour a bit and find that the accounts of my friends have the same problem, I discovered that my password has been the problem.

  My password contained special characters (! @# $% ^ & *)-after to change that for letters and numbers only it worked without any problem.

  My guess is that the calendar app comes out correctly the password string before sending it to google.

  I downloaded the version of today to finish a site because it contains a number of bulleted items (thanks for that, btw). I went to integrate a Google Calendar, as I have done dozens of times. However, today, I noticed that it generates is more an overview. It looks fine when I preview the page in a real browser and when I publish. It is used to provide the preview in Design view, which was useful when I was still sizing of things.

  It is unlikely that this is related to the update. Generating a proxy for inserted HTML image is a tricky business. There is no 100% reliable way to know when the inserted HTML is fully loaded and rendered. Simplify things a bit, Muse basically wait just a fixed amount of time and if the HTML code has made (drawn) then you get a picture of proxy in Design view. If she does not download and draw within the time limit, you get a picture of proxy in Design view. In both cases, there is work in preview in Muse, published/Uploaded Preview in browser and when.

  I suspect that a Google calendar is quite complex to download and draw it is right on the edge of her taking too long. So if your connection or Google's servers are a little slower than usual, you don't get a proxy image. But the exact same inserted HTML can create a proxy image when the connection is faster or Google's servers are more sensitive.

  I'm sure you have "googled" for her as much as anyone, but believe me: Google doesn't want that to happen.

  Same as alternative Outlook isn't really great: it is read-only. So you can see what is on your Google calendar from within Outlook, but you cannot make changes or add new appointments.

  Google suggestion is to use the website to their calendar, but my personal suggestion would be to use any other calendar provider.  You can make your choice, just about all of them are more open and more universal than Google.
