    Hey all,.

Im having a very strange problem with Microsoft Access 2003, we work with the old databases and when we open them by Access 2003 we get the message "you cannot make changes to objects in database" error, which is expected. However, the laptop began to repeat this message repeatedly about 8 times after the first time that you click on it. Its very annoying to have to keep clicking to get rid of the error message. Its a very strange problem, any ideas on how to solve this problem, or even explain what could of happened will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

PS Ce is not an option for updating the database, we work with a program that uses a database of 97 old and if you update the database the program will stop working.

If you have forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to recover or reset:

    • If your PC is on a domain, your system administrator must reset your password.

    • If you use a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. For more information, see the Web to reset your password page.

    • If you use a local account, use your index of password as a reminder.

If you've tried these suggestions and still unable to connect:

  • Cannot make changes to the parents control settings (Windows 7)

I've seen several comments regarding this same problem, but so far no solution.

I am the administrator, but I get an error when I try to access the parent on standard accounts control settings.  Now, what's even weirder, is that I am able to access ONE of the standard accounts, and there is nothing different between this account and others.

I have tried all the solutions already posted:

    -running 'services.msc' and the implementation of parent controls (which is said by the way, says "this service is a stub for of Windows Parental control feature that existed in Vista", which is strange, it's as if there's no 'Parental control' in Windows 7?);

-create a new administrator account via the control panel (in the case where my administrator account is corrupt), by restarting and trying to put Parental controls

    -create a new administrator account using the command prompt "net user administrator / Active: Yes";

-in the course of running "sfc/scannow".

    ANY OTHER IDEAS?

Did you you run regedit as an administrator? It is a common problem in trying just new values. This is done by right-clicking on the program and selecting "Run as Administrator". This allows you to write new values.

If you would like more information on this subject by me, read the last post on page 3 here:
If you have recently encountered this problem, I would recommend a system restore, and I explain the reasons in the tread above.
    I hope this helps!

After logging in to my admin account, I created two user accounts for my children, set up parental controls for both that I created, when I tried to set up the third account that he would allow me to activate parental control. It seems that he is trying to load the screen to give me the parental control options then the window disappers and another small window appears saying "cannot make changes to parental controls settings. If the problem persists, see your system administrator. I close the window, and then open the parental controls for other accounts, and they work very well, allows me the chance to change. I deleted the third account several times, making sure to create on behalf of others, just like I did the first two. Still no luck. Can I have only 3 total accounts? • Lately everytime I open firefox I get the window «do you want this program to make changes to your computer...» »

    Hello

I would be so grateful to know how to fix t his, because it's really getting on my nerves.

I have windows 7 pro 64 bit. I mostly always use firefox. Whenever i opened a new browser, I never got hit with the windows badge and "Do you want this program to make changes to your computer...." or something to that effect. YOu who have windows 7 know what I mean. Of course I click yes, but I NEVER had to do this before. I don't know what changed, what might have happened. I had to have help with some software unrelated to firefox and someone had remote work on my notebook, but he should not have changed browser settings. It is really irritating me to now end to always open the browser now and have to hear that annoying thing and the badge.

My other browsers IE and chrome do not do this.

How can I fix this? It was never the case before for years.

Thank you thank you very much in advance. I can't use this browser if that's going to happen, he finds himself on my nerves.

A possible cause of this message, it is that Firefox is configured to run as administrator.

Make sure that Firefox is not set to run as administrator.
Right click on the desktop Firefox shortcut and choose "Properties".
Make sure that all items are disabled in the tab "Compatibility" in the Properties window.

    • Privilege level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
    • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" must not be selected

Also check the firefox.exe program properties in the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) folder.
If you cannot make changes, and then start Windows Explorer as an administrator.

I already know how this hide them

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description of the problem, you cannot make changes in the registry, that you were able to do before. The question might be if there is a file system corruption or corruption of the registry settings. Then, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps.

    Method 1

There could be a chance that there is a file system corruption. So, I suggest you run SFC scan and see if it makes a difference.

The file system check is a utility built into the operating system that will check for the corruption of system files. The sfc/scannow command. (System File Check) analyzes the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect versions, damaged, altered, or damaged with correct versions where possible.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7.

    • Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    • Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    • In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

For more information, refer to this link:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

    Method 2

If the problem persists, then there might be a corruption of the registry settings so, I suggest you to check the steps in the below mentioned thread and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

Access denied - owner and/or setting permissions on the registry key

Registry warning : This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. • Computer locked out, says incorrect password, has not changed the password.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

Ideas: computer locked out, says incorrect password, haven't changed the password.

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

These things don't happen by themselves. Once you're in the system, do a thorough analysis of the malware.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

You can change your password to something that you remember another administrative user account. If you had only an administrative user account and you have forgotten the password, all is not lost. You can then follow the general recommendations for implementing user accounts in Vista that I will give you at the end of this post.

All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.

If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]
NET user [insert here the name of your user account] [insert the new password of user as 1234 here] [press Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will be able to connect to your user account by using the password that you set; for example, 1234.

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair Vista (not a system recovery!) system in the diagnostic menu. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. Get to this menu by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. If you do not have this option, you can make a bootable Vista file repair DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need to use third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com ) to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data.

Once you have fixed things, log on to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  • I changed my password and before I finished I was locked out of my iPod Gen 5

Today I realized that I had not changed my password for a while so I went to change. I had to enter my current password to change then I tried and got it wrong. The screen displays the numbers for let me try again, but he also said something like a failed attempt. I realized that I didn't know my access code numbers but rather the way in which numbers are connected to each other. I turned off the iPod and it went back in if I could enter my password and now my password I was using before does ' t work and I'm locked out. Please help me! I backed up last week, but I went on vacation and I wish that all my photos.

If you don't remember the password, then you must restore the device to remove it. You can then restore the device to your last backup. If the device has been disabled as you say, then turning off and on again will not disable the old password, it will remain the same unless you changed it. Once the device is disabled, you will not be able to save. If you have synchronized the device to this computer in the past, linking can cause your power backup, depending on how many times you incorrectly tried to get into the device. If you have disabled it, you will lose your content.

  • Directory issues active with SBS 2008. Cannot use NTDSUTIL or management tools or make changes to the DNS.

In July 2010, I've migrated a SBS2003 system to a system of SBS2008. There were a few hiccups along the way, but eventually everything worked very well and the original server was demoted and closes.

Fast forward to today, June 2013, and now that I see errors in the event log that read:

«This server is the owner of the following FSMO role, but considers that it not invalid.»

"This directory server has not recently received replication of a number of directory servers."

And when you run NTDSUTIL I can't join the domain controller by name or the domain name. I always get the following error message:
"Error DsBindWithSpnExW 0x6ba (the RPC server is unavailable".

I have read and tried all the imaginable solutions I could find. However, the difference between my situation and all the other scenarios that I have met is that there is usually another available domain controller. This isn't my case.

    Here is my configuration:

    1 - SBS 2008 Server.

    7 - workstations running Windows 7 Professional

I can't run Active Directory users and computers, Active Directory and approvals, or make changes in the DNS. However, DNS is working and my domain controller points to itself as a single domain controller and resolves the name to the IP address.

That I could track down, it's the original domain controller does not correctly downshift and there is always a ton of references to it in Active Directory, but I can't run any tools to remove the reference and seize the roles.

Is there someone out there who can help you?
