  The 7 5 d Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw version 8.7 (the plugin used by Photoshop Elements to open Raw files)

  Devices supported by Camera Raw

  Camera Raw 8.7 is only compatible with 13 elements and later versions.

  Elements 9 is compatible only with versions of Camera Raw 6.1 to 6.5 included so you will never be able to open the Raw of Mark II 7 d files in Elements 9.

  You have two choices:

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of items (currently 14 but is there a new version due every day now), or
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all 7 d Mark II Raw files to DNG format and then edit DNG files in Elements 9. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  Camera Raw does not open files multilayer.  Period.

  Vk2mh looks that the download was not complete or corrupt.  When you download the update from?  Have you tried to download it again?

  I have loaded 11 items on my old dell XP and it works perfectly.

  But on my Mac Apple I, nothing. I uninstalled, did all the updates, it shows the name of the plugin and the version (7.4).   Photos does not allow files camera raw to open in another application as raw, JPEG only files.

  You must use file > export > unmodified original Photos in order to get your camera raw files

  You could have chosen 16 bit by bit depth when importing file in the ACR dialog box editor. After you open the file, select it click on Image-> Mode and click on 8-bit. Now hit-> file save as and you should see JPEG from the drop file formats.

  I send multiple images in camera raw to the bridge as part of my work. I make my changes and then select them all and click on the button "open the Images. When I did earlier using Photoshop CS6, all these images open in Photoshop CS6 and be aligned at the top of the window.   If please check, is your Photoshop and Bridge are updated to the latest version.

  In addition, reset the Photoshop preferences default back so if there is no change in the settings of this problem.

  As JohnTSmith says you must have a version of CC of Photoshop installed on your computer.

  The Parent to Camera Raw/bridge software is Photoshop because the camera raw plugin is installed on your system with Adobe Photoshop.

  Please open Photoshop and edit an image in camera raw by going into the filters and then open the bridge of file > Browse in Bridge and check if the option to edit your images in camera raw directly.

  Also make sure that your camera raw plugin is the latest version see: Installer of plug in Camera Raw

  I would like to create a culture of a portion of an image in Adobe Camera Raw AND include some areas outside this image. Is it possible to do so.

  You can do that in ACR, but you can if you open in Photoshop and use the crop tool here.

  Other features such as text, or shape layer, that do not exist in PrPro, or effects can be translated when you export your AE project as PrPro project. Similar things happen when you replace a clip (or a group of clips) by PrPro chronology by dynamically linked composition AE: titles, quite a few effects and transitions are not translated (at least correctly).

  However, dynamically linked composition AE is considered a composite PrPro. Therefore, there should be no problem seeing the result of applying any effect within a dynamically linked composition in the chronology of PrPro. If you have some difficulties with it, please provide a detailed explanation of what you want to achieve and what you are doing exactly.
