  Hello world!

  I've been unsing the PC version of CS6 x 64 with windows 7 x 64 for a while now, no problems at all.

  I have recently upgraded to windows 10(fresh install) and re-installed CS6. Even if Photoshop says that I have the updates, my raw, taken with the Nikon D800, files are not open.

  Someone else encountered this? Is there a work around?

  You would have to buy PSE13 to do the same thing. PSE8 cannot be updated.

  If it's showing the raw camera 7.4 version, this means it is not updated.

  You need to download Camera Raw 9.1.1 from the link I shared and run the installation file and make sure it is updated.

• Cannot open RAW files in CS6 after update

  Hi all

  I have Photoshop CS6 and have been able to open my Raw D4 files without any problems using the plugin Camera Raw version 7.1.

  Yesterday, I upgraded my Mac OS Snow Leopard in Yosemite (a big jump I agree) and updated to the latest version Photoshop but also install Adobe DNG Converter 8.8.

  I apparently still uses the same version 7.1 plugin as I always have but I am now is no longer able to open RAW files in Photoshop because it displays a message saying "unrecognized file" when I try to open them.

  I jumped too many updates? Updates of Photoshop CS6 leave me unable to open RAW files? Am I pushed down the road CC?

  Anyone would offer no help at all because I have a wedding to change, but can't open any files! Stress!

  I backed up my system through Time Machine before I did the update, but I'm not sure if I restore that I will still have a Yosemite OS running.

  Any help or advice is really appreciated.

  I can't see or open raw files.  Mine are a D7000 NEF files.  I could open in PS5 but my trial just missed and can not buy until next week and I'm in a bit of a lack of time.  I have vista 64 bit and I know there have been problems, but I thought that it was corrected with this latest version.  I downloaded the latest updates to the adobe raw.  Thank you

  I understand you correctly that you can import your files NAVE in LR directly from your memory card, but not the RAW files that are already on your hard drive?

  If this is the case then something must have succeeded in these files. In what format are they? You mentioned that you already edited in PS - did you use Photoshop itself or did you use the RAW which is accessible in the bridge plug-in?

  If you have changed the PS you could not save their NEF format. PS can not save in true RAW format. There is a RAW file format what called in PS, but it's not true RAW format that comes out of your camera and LR cannot read this PS - RAW format. What format did you use? LR can only read and open some formats of files - outside the camera RAW (as the NAVE), he reads TIFF, JPG, PSD.

  As a beginner in LR, you would benefit from looking at some of the excellent Adobe tutorials that are available on the Adobe Web site.

• Error message - Windows cannot open this file after downloading program

  After several days in offline mode, I went online to update Microsoft Security Essentials and click on analysis complete.  It took an hour.  After that, I found that all my programs were virgins, almost of all of the standard microsoft Microsoft Security Essentials is.  I tried to download it again, plus others such as adobe acrobat, but all said "windows cannot open this file".  I asked help from Microsoft but received access denied.  I feel like an illegal immigrant, as all the doors were closed.  What does that mean?  My OS would be illegal?  It is Windows XP and was purchased new in the retail price in 2004 and has only once been out of my hands when I sent it repairs and have 2 GB ram added.  Any ideas?

  Yes, the 1DX Mark II is taken in charge, but only in Camera Raw 9.5 and later versions.

  CS6 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 9.1.1.

  Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

  So you will never be able to open 1DX Raw Mark II files CS6.

  You will need to open in Lightroom 6.5 +, convert to DNG and then open DNG files in CS6.

  To open Raw files in Photoshop, you must join the Cloud.

  The DSC-RX100 was first supported in camera Raw 7.2 which is only compatible with CS6 and Cloud versions.

  You will never be able to open the RX100 in CS5 Raw files, even when you install Camera Raw 6.7 update successfully.

  You have two options:

  1. Join the cloud, or
  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert batch all RX100 Raw files to DNG format, and then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

  BACKGROUND:

  We run Adobe CS3 in my Mac Lab school (new iMacs OS10.5 and a few rounds of G5). Students are assigned seats and connect to their repertoire on the xServe server. All their preferences, files, etc. are stored in their directory, NOT on the individual computer station. Files are synchronized on their individual station while they work so recorded to their directory at the end of their time at work... Students use card readers and use Adobe Photo Downloader to download images in their image, which will be visible in Bridge file.

  Today, a student put on his card with his Canon digital SLR RAW files. He worked on the G5 tower. Generic icons for all his RAW files appeared in the Photo Downloader dialog box and we couldn't see the images. ACR has already been updated as much as it goes into CS3.

  I have children classes, most with their own cameras. I'm encouraging their use of camera RAW. What should I do to ensure that all students can open their pictures of any camera they had? I wish we could upgrade to CS4 (or 5 when coming out), but there is no funding for that, so please give me another option.

  RAW files from a camera which is too recent to be directly supported with version CS3 of ACR can be first converted to DNG using the latest free software available from Adobe DNG Converter and then can be viewed in Bridge and ACR even if the RAW original cannot.

  The RAW files of your students must be convertible in the latest version of Canon Digital Photo Professional, who should have on a CD with the camera but also downloadable from the Canon website.
