  Blocks of gray, full browser width, have suddenly appeared on my site. I'm unable to select these blocks and therefore cannot remove them. They are repeated at intervals to the bottom of a page Web site.   I have a 64 bit Windows 7 laptop. A year ago I started a return upwards to put on a disc. The backup failed at the time because I ran out of records to put on (had no idea that it would take as much!).

  I'm clearly missing something and would be grateful for the help.  I'm trying to run an event handler when a full picture of loading, then remove the Manager so that it does not once again the image needs to be reloaded later.

  (4) a click on the button should display only 'change picture' in the debug console

  What I get instead is that Manager loadComplete is not removed, and whenever I click on the button, loadComplete runs when the image is re-load (i.e., each button click results in the showing in the debug console 'change picture' AND 'loadComplete' ).

  You can only remove event listeners you added with the addEventListener() method in an ActionScript block. You cannot remove an event listener that has been defined in the MXML tag, even if it has been registered by using a call to the addEventListener () method that was made within an attribute of the tag.

  I have malware on my MacBookAir (which is running El Capitan).

  Whenever I open the Chrome, it goes to search.oliver.to as the default home page (see screenshot)

  

  Now, I have read other threads on the same exact topic and followed the instructions, but they did not work for me.

  In my preferences of Chrome, search.oliver.to is not set as the home page.

  In my library > folder Agents run, there are No files associated with search.oliver.to

  The only other suggestion I could find was to download Malwarebytes, but I hesitate to do that, because I have read conflicting advice, saying to avoid all the so-called anti-malware software.
