  Have you fully installed on both computers (after upgrading the operating system if necessary)?

  The following is a general list of things, try when the question is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  The file is unwilling to accept any Photoshop.

  If Photoshop says that the file is opened - then some external process left the file open. It has nothing to do with it being open in Photoshop, or even in the bridge. This sometimes happens when Spotlight had bugs (who came more than once and been corrected in versions of dot operating system).

  The external process could be another application or service to OS like Spotlight.

  1. When was the last time you were able to successfully perform the backup on the computer?

  2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  3. When you save the backup too?

  I use Windows 8.  I installed Wordperfect Suite 8 so I can us Wordperfect 8 for my processor.  Windows 8, I cannot save Wordperfect 8 files.  What is the solution?

  I got my beloved WordPerfect to run this method:

  Start the tiles subway screwy, which is (I assume) the only way to access most of the programs that are installed, or even the properties of those who have been pinned to the taskbar to desktop.

  The tile of WordPerfect 8 right-click.

  Select 'Open file location' in the choices that appear below.

  Which takes me to a non-metropolitan files, Desktop, WordPerfect 8 listing Explorer view.  (Alternately, it is C:\Program Data-Microsoft-Windows-Start Menu-CorelWordPerfectSuite8)

  Right-click on WordPerfect 8

  Select Properties > Security tab > EDIT and check the full control box.  (Maybe the writing box would have been enough, I don't know.  I went with a full control).

  Finally, finally I can put my default WP file folder where I want, and I can open an existing file of WP, modify, "save under...". ', a new file name and keep the original file, rather than overwrite the original.

  Funny, BTW, that he was still able to _overwrite_ with "Write" disabled my original files.  Caused me severe pain with the Committee minutes.

  Description: I'm trying to save a very large collection of music on an external hard drive so that if something happens to my computer, I have a back up from which to restore. I am using a free program called FreeFileSync, to start to do incremental backups of my music collection on the external drive as it grows.   No, in fact after looking around the answers in the other fourms, I found is that the external drive I was support until the problem in shape. I was doing backups on a disk that has been formatted in FAT32. My problem has been resolved on the reformat in NTFS.

• Cannot save as .bmp after self-aligning images

  Hello Photoshop community!

  I'm pulling my hair out over this: there is no option to save my pictures .bmp after them self-aligning. I can only put in .tiff, .psb or .raw.

  The steps to combine my images:

  1. open images

  2 change all modes of the image of "indexed color" to "RGB color" to allow me to edit more freely

  3. drag all the images in a window (the new window has now multiple layers)

  4. Select all layers

  5 Edition > automatic alignment of layers > reposition

  6. everything aligns well

  7. either leave as-is (RBG color) mode OR go back to indexed color

  8 try saving in .bmp and my options look like this

  

  It's so weird because it's worked for me in the past, and at times, I'll be able to save intermediate phases of my combined as a .bmp image but never the whole thing. Is this a problem with the size of the image potentially? I would like suggestions.

  Your document has more than 30,000 pixels in any dimension? Or is it more than 2 GB? Which would trigger Photoshop to present the record as options that you see. Try downsampling a copy of the image to<30k pixels="" on="" the="" largest="" side,="" or="" get="" the="" file="" size="" below="" 2gb,="" and="" see="" if="" that="">

  Thanks for the help.  I was on the phone with a form of Adobe technology for at least 45 minutes after, wait at least one hour support to get to him.  After 45 minutes and him having to take control of my computer, it says that it cannot be done.   I'm sorry that you waited for a long time during the call.

  Although Theo, what is happening here that when you take the image from Lightroom to Photoshop which is actually a .tiff format.

  As you said have you flatten layers, you can save in Jpeg format, but surely, that reflect back Lr.

  As when we press the Save as command in photoshop, it's one more copy of that image and it ask you for the location where to put it.

  If this copy automatically imported to Lightroom return.

  The best way you can do here is that you can save as JPEG in the same folder where is your original and then you can go to lightroom-> right click (ctrl + click (MAC)) on this folder and then click on synchronize.

  This will open the dialog box and gives you the ability to import to Lr without opening the import window.

  Of this a way you can put this JPEG file in the same catalog.
