  I found the problem. I opened 'File' then saw 'save as template' grayed. Having not worked with models, I didn't know this isn't how it's done.

  What I should have done was file > save as > then clicked the drop-down 'Save as template' menu option. It was a simple mistake. Thanks to you all.

  I'm on Fw CS6 - cannot save as flattened PNG with transparency. I'm on Mac OS X 10.7.4. It allows to work perfectly with CS5.

  Another thing I noticed: the dialog box preview image and the optimization Panel normally communicate with each other. Changes to a file format (e.g. of PNG8 to PNG32) made in the Image Preview dialog box will result in the same settings that appear in the Panel optimize. This does NOT happen when the image settings are made in the Save as command dialog box (although it seems to have access to the same dialog box Preview Image).

  This is perhaps where the system is broken down. In this case, you would have more luck using overview image instead of Save as to create a flattened PNG.

• Recipients of the form cannot save the form with their entry

  I guess I forgot something simple, but when I sent a test of my form (created in version 9) to someone, they could open and select boxes, filler text, etc, but cannot save their results. They received a message that the only way they could save their results was to print the form. Of course, what I'm after is a way for recipients to complete the form, save it, and send it to me with the fields filled in with their entry. What Miss me?

• Cannot save the vCO with vCenter WebClient

  Hi all

  I have a strange situation that I hope you can help me with.

  Basically, I am fighting to save the vCO with vCenter WebClient device, when I try to add in the web interface of vCenter, the test connection fails.

  The vCO device has been configured to use AD authentication and the vCenter plugin seems to be set up correctly. In fact, I can run all workflows from it interact successfully with the vCenter.

  I followed the troubleshooting steps in similar positions, but none of them have worked:

  I can see the extension of vCO through the https://vcenter1.xxxxx.com/mob . I have also not saved and put it back with the same result.

  I also tried with different versions of the device to vCO (5.0, 5.5.1 5.5.2...) but no joy with any of them.

  I want to emphasize that I used a device registered with vCenter, vCO which has been deleted. After checking the mob site, I discovered that the extension pointing to this previous vCO was still in place, so I recorded. But the issue has not been resolved.

  In order to use the vCO within customer web vSphere vCO must use SSO authentication and SSO used must match the one used by web vSphere client.

  What happens is this user log in vSphere client and web based on as user token credentials is generated.

  This token is presented to the vCO and vCO is not able to check (because in LDAP mode or using different SSO server or...) vCO rejects the request.

• Problems Photoshop CS6 with El Capitan

  I just upgraded my iMac and I now use El Capitan. I want to continue to use Adobe CS6, Illustrator seems ok so far, but Photoshop is pretty sticky, and many of the keyboard shortcuts are not working do not, or only work occasionally. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thank you very much.

  The common solution (which works most of the time) after upgrading to El Capitan is to uninstall the CS6 applications and reinstall them.

  There is no way someone can help. Photoshop CS1 is simply too old to run on El Capitan.

  How many photos? If it's a big project with many effects and
  transitions, it may be too complex for your system resources.

  Are the photos all JPEG (.jpg)?

  Convert pictures in Windows Bitmap (.bmp) image may be worth a try.

  And... before trying to save... it may be worth trying to go to...
  Tools / Options / compatibility... tab and uncheck the box 'all' filters / OK.

I made a backup of my computer with windows backup; disc of the Moose is 500 MB Standard; then after resizing (smaller partitions) with minitool partition Wizard (because the standard tools of windows 8 will not do the job) and clonning the original drive to an SSD of 256 GB drive with Acronis true image 2014 (because the restore of Windows 8 feature is not able to restore on a smaller drive); I have change the 500 GB and replace it with the cloned 256Go.

  After that; I try to use the windows system backup; french in configuration\Tous signs of configuration\Historique of the fichiers\sauvegarde of system image control panel; because I'm a french user.

  And now; Unable to save my yoga lenovo with Windows backup. Acronis is the only product that can do the job perfectly.

  I just installed El Capitan on my 2008 MacBook Pro and downloaded/reinstalled my Photoshop CS6.

  Serial number so that it does not work, then it is running in trial mode.

  I got my serial number for my purchased products page is a good...

  You get this message because you have an upgrade to Photoshop CS6

  You must choose Photoshop CS4 in this menu drop down and enter the CS4 serial key, and click on continue...

  who would you brings to the next page to enter your series CS6 key and activate it.

• Cannot open the CS6 with Lightroom 4.1

  I've updated my Lightroom to 4.1.  I also have Photoshop cs6 (extended) installed.  When I try to send the photo of 4.1 to Phoshop, I get a message offering me photshop cs4 as the path.  He says edit in c:\program files\Adobe\ Adobe PhotoshopCS4 is not a valid path.  I don't have CS4 on my computer.  He was kidnapped when I upgraded to CS5.  When I was with CS5, I had no problem photo passing from Lightroom.  I also uninstalled CS5 after upgrade to CS6.  What can I do to get Lightroom 4.1 and Bridge6 to transfer the photos to Photoshop CS6?  I am stuck and don't know what to do.

  Thank you for your response and help offered.  I was able to contact technical support.  They advised me to download the CS "Cleaner" tool and follow the instructions that were all to first uninstall programs Adobe (cs6 and lightroom), restart and then run the CS cleanup tool download.  I did as advised, and everything works perfectly now.  Lightroom and Bridge6 work fine now.

• cannot scroll through calendar with el capitan

  I very often use calendar application.  I was not able to scroll down in the calendar (month or year view, who have both worked in Yosemite) since the update to El Capitan.  I tried all the options in the calendar preferences under "scroll weekly view by:  No option solves the problem.

  Another note: I've had a few cases where I had a hard time activating a window already on the screen after working in another window.  By clicking on the window (tried everywhere from the window) sometimes does not activate the window as before (all since I've owned a Mac).  The problem seams are rare, but has occurred a number of times now.  I've only been able to activate the problem window by clicking on the application icon in the dock.

  IdHello - I read the Board of Directors and all the information is very useful - but I came to a difficult situation with a reinstall of Windows XP on a HP6230 I. I have my product key and got up to have MS confirm it is a legitimate product key but I can't activate on my machine :-(

  They told me on the phone that its something that's easy to fix, but I would have to pay the $59.99 to open a ticket to do fix - OR - go to the knowledge base for more information. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

  Have you installed using media supplied by HP? If so, then no product key is needed and the operating system is preactivated by HP. If no, then you use a manufacturer OEM generic system disk for the version of XP provided with the system. You use the product key on the COA sticker on the computer and would need to activate it yourself. Otherwise, you would need to use a commercial full version of XP and use the product key on the sticker of the orange of the CD case.

  What kind of CD did you install? MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
