• Cannot save a bookmark to NEW folder - FF wants me to rename the EXISTING parent folder

  I can't save a bookmark in a new folder. This is the way that I take from the main menu:
  Bookmarks | Bookmark this Page
  Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the folder
  Select Choose
  Navigate to the folder parent in which I would like a new subfolder
  Click new folder
  Then, rather than create a new folder, as it has always done in the past, it will highlight the folder parent for editing. If I type a new folder name, the parent folder is replaced by the new name. A new subfolder is created with the name of the new folder.

  Things, I already tried that does * not * solve the problem:
  -Remove and then restore bookmarks from a file backup saved favorites.
  -Execution of the add-on "housekeeping."
  -Rebuild the database of "places".

  I have not yet reset Firefox or created a new profile but may try it if you gurus think it would help.

  I use FF 32.0.2 on Win XP SP3.
  I have hundreds and hundreds of bookmarks, but what I've read, there is no maximum size limit.

  I thought about it! I kept scratching my head... whenever I tried to update, move or save a new bookmark, it moved very, very slowly. Sometimes, if I waited long enough, he would perform the action I wanted. But if I tried to push it along, it would have hard work (as described in my first post above). While it does take so long to manipulate and save the bookmarks file? It dawned on me... I recently set up sync with my mobile phone. So whenever I was saving a bookmark, Favorites file was also updated in Google sync account. Work with bookmarks has slowed down for an analysis! And it has destroyed my bookmarks file. No thanks, I can do without it. I disconnected Sync and immediately, my bookmarks and bookmark behavior are back to normal! Yay!

  Of course, I don't have my synchronized Favorites in Firefox on my cell phone, no more, but I can live without this until the process is improved.

• Cannot save CS3 on the new laptop computer

  I have my cell die. Ld office expired last year and I called Adobe to deliver anything that prevents me to install again and they said they did. I never had time to installation on the new tower because I used the portable more. Now, the laptop is dead. So I buy a new laptop brilliant and install CS3 on it and that's... CS3 will not fit. Made a post that I have an answer telling me to use a cleaner program. I installed a new installation on a new laptop. I had no problem installing office, but CS3 not so much. I just decided that adobe doesn't care once they have your money. If I install later and more I bet I could get help, but I don't need. I am retired and just a few things. My wife is always using PageMaker and he does what she wants, so it is not updated. I don't ' want or need State of the art, I want just that CS3 to work on my new laptop windows 7. Yes, you can always buy a laptop with a decent OS if you shop at Costco. You can not just get your CS3 to work on it. I guess that the answer will be that I have to pay for the support for using my software. I'm frustrated, will you?

  You shouldn't save CS3 if you have already registered it in the past.  If you mean that you are not able to activate it, then maybe it's something you can help with.  You will need to contact the Adobe Support for help with activation using cat.

  I got this yesterday after the 3.6.4 problem upgrade. I'm not sure if I saw all the things you did, but I have def lost all bookmarks and the back button. I fixed it by:
  1. go to the Firefox profile directory, which for me is here but 1st bit will be different for you as mine work specific:

  C:\Documents and Settings\U049177\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\soez0lvk.default
  2 delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite - journal

  3. start Firefox (you should have the back button now works but not Favorites, he recreated to these 2 files)

  4. in the menu, bookmarks and then organize bookmarks, then button import and backup, then restore, then select a day to restore from. You should now have your backups Firefoxes bookmarks.

• Cannot save edited image. Error message: "the file is already in use or left open.

  I tried to save JPEG images after making a few changes to Photoshop CS4. For each file, I get the message "cannot save (file name) because the file is already in use or left open." I checked my apps and nothing is running would be to use the image. Can someone look over my EtreCheck and tell me if there is something current funny? I'm working on hundreds of images, so just change the name is slow and heavy work around. The problem seems to have started after update 10.11.

  This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

  Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

  Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

  The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

• HPDM 4.6 SP4 cannot save the files deploy subtask

  Recently, when you create a new task to deploy a file and try saving it I get:

  "Cannot save the subtask to deploy files.

  If I create another type of task it saves without problem. The only time where there is a problem, is if I am trying to add files to my task. If I try to add a file to an existing template, I get the unable to merge the error of the model.

  I have checked the permissions in the main repository, run the test, all come back fine. I even tried manually adding files to the repository and that's ok too. I can't find something as interesting in the newspaper. I should mention that we did a database migration recently, but I test all features and managed to save a task of deployment without problem.

  Try to get out of the individual tasks that contains files (in this case the msi Hotkey filter) I get the following:

  10.7.1.29 refers to a repository of the child, I have about 30 repositories of the child.

  I have not changed any configuration, I don't really understand how this happened, I can't even create my first Contact rules, scheduled tasks or create new tasks/templates. We are in the midst of a large-scale deployment so that any help ASAP that would be most appreciated!

  This has been resolved with the help of Chen_HPDM by e-mail.

  We changed the console.conf to:

  The Console could not delete a temporary file created previously called HPDM_Temp. I renamed the file and was able to create the task.

• CS6 flash cannot save the document

  We did a lot of troubleshooting for this issue, and WITHOUT help from Adobe, which support so that never. They just repeat what they don't support networks and advise to do not open or modify files on a network because he may / will cause corrupted files and not allow you to save.
