  • Cannot see all the specifications of customizaton... why?

We have two vCenters in bound mode. If I create a virtual computer on a site and you choose to use a specification of previous customization that I see about 1/2 of the plug. If I do the same thing to the other site I get about the other 1/2 (give or take). I built a new virtual machine in my second site, thinking that if I taped the first site would see it. Well, I don't see it at all in my technical customization Manager.

    Any ideas on that?

HI, oops I meant to edit and say that I figured this out. Even if two vCenters are in bound mode, it seems that the models cannot see card customization of their respective vCenters. I created a similar technique on my other vCenter and was able to see it!

  • Firefox does not start when I click on its icon. As far as I can see, all the program files are present.

Firefox functioned perfectly earlier today. Tonight, when I tried to start Firefox as I usually do by clicking its icon in the quick start of Windows 7 bar there is no frequency. The same thing happens when I click on the application icon in Windows Firefox program folder. Is some way this can be fixed easily?

I downloaded the Firefox installation files and ran a custom implemented, by clicking on upgrade. Firefox now works well with all the Add-ons, bookmarks, history, cookies and saved passwords intact.

  • Most of the games will not load and cannot see all the options.

Original title: installation of Command and Conquer 'the first decade.

    Hello

I recently installed first decade on my laptop running windows 7 64 bit. I can load the screen perfectly, but most of the games, I can not load except red alert 2 and even in this case I don't see any options. The only way I can see them is by pressing alt + Tab to go to my office then flow back into the game, but I think it's to do with the size of the screen, but I'm not sure. Other games work not at all except the storm and Tiberian Sun. These don't work if I click them restart the entire computer and load the game up and go straight to him.

Whenever I click on other games, red alert bar 2, it asks me to insert the correct disc which is of course already in the machine

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

From the start > all the Programs window miss me all the Microsoft Office programs that are installed on my computer.  Some other installed programs are missing in this menu.  In which case I have shortcuts on my desktop, programs are always accessible and functional.  Also my administrator account is missing, although my account has administrator privileges.  When this happened there was a wink to my office and some icons have disappeared while that others moved around.  I have loaded the disc of MS Office and ran repair without result.

    Hello swuser, welcome.

What it sounds like, is that Windows creates a new user with admin access account and then migrate parts of your data on. This is probably due to corruption on the part of your "old" user account

My suggestion, rather that to re - install all your programs, would be to simply make a copy of your desktop shortcuts and drag them into the START > all programs >... destinations.

If you need find the shortcuts for some programs, we can tell you where programs actually exist in Windows. Let us know exactly what it is you are missing and we can see if we can help you.

Regarding Microsoft Office, you can find the actual programs by visiting here:

    1. click on START
    2. click on 'my computer '.
    3. double-click on "disk Local (c)"
    4. double click on "Program Files".
5 double click on "Microsoft Office".
    6 double-click on "Office12".
    7. find "WinWord12.exe", right click and go to send to > desktop (create shortcut)
    8. find "Excel.exe", right click and go to send to > desktop (create shortcut)
9 find "PowerPnt.exe", right click and go to send to > desktop (create shortcut)
    10. find "Outlook.exe", right click and go to send to > desktop (create shortcut)
11 go ahead and find the rest of the Office applications in this folder. Follow the same instructions as above. Most of the Office applications have some identifiable names (such as Microsoft Access = Access.exe)

All I can understand what is is past is that I got a page long list of automatic updates of W7 and some XP updates and as far as I know, the current page of readers has disappeared since then.  I need this feature if I can transfer files between W7 and XP because some of my programs are in one program of windows. I have nothing special when I installed XP to achieve this functionality, so I really don't understand what it controls.  How can I get that back?

I have solved my problem by trying everything that moves. Here are my steps:

That's what Yahoo have to say - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?y=PROD_ACCT&page=content&id=SLN408&actp=lorax&locale=en_US

If the control panel is set to display the categories - programs - programs and features

If the control panel is set to display the icon - programs and features.

Yahoo Messenger should be in this list.

If you say programs and features isn't in the Panel or Yahoo Messenger is installed, but not in the list, then something else is wrong.

Try in "search programs and files" type "programs and features" (without the quotes). In the results list, you should see "programs and features" near or at the top of the list, click it.

If Yahoo messenger is installed and will not uninstall, see the above link to the bottom of his page.

    Hello

1 have had modifications made to your computer before the problem occurred?

    2. did you install or uninstall all the programs on your computer until the problem occurred?

    3. do you get an error message or error code when you access or file sharing on the network?

    4. what security (Antivirus & Firewall) program is installed on your computer?

    5. were you able to access shared files and folders on your laptop from your desktop earlier?

I suggest you to follow a few troubleshooting steps and check if that help in the issue of the attachment on your computer.

    Method:

Sharing files in Windows 7 and XP

Sharing folders between two Windows 7 machines with the new homegroup feature is an easy process, but the homegroup feature is not compatible with Vista or XP.

First of all, make sure that both computers are members of the same workgroup which by default is named Workgroup.

    a. on the Windows 7 machine go into control panel-all items in the control panel-network and sharing Center then click on change sharing settings, advanced.

    b. you want to check the following settings under Advanced for home or work and Public profile sharing settings.

    ·         Turn on network discovery.

    ·         Printer sharing and file.

    ·         Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read write files in public folders.

    c. If you want any user to access public actions disable password protection.  It is located in the sharing settings advanced to the bottom of the list (protected by password sharing).

    ·         Turn off password protected sharing.

    d. If you want to keep it enabled, make sure that there is a newspaper account that the other XP machine and they have a password.

    e. over on your XP machine open my network places to search for the shared folder of Windows 7.

    f. double-click the shared folder to find a list of shared folders in the folder Public of Windows 7.  If you have password protection enabled you will have to type the user name and password of the user account on the windows 7 machine first.

  • All the program icons have the same appearance and open Windows Media Center

Original title: cannot start a program
When I click on an any program icon on the Windows 7 Desktop, a window appears with its contents: suggested program to open Windows Media Center. All the programs on the desktop icons have the same appearance.

Using Word 2007 to get an example:

I've seen this happen when opening a program via a shortcut on the desktop (for example. LNK file), you are asked what type of program to open it with. After you select theWord (or another program) via the Select a program from a list of programs installedand checkalways use the selected program to open this type of file, the referenced by the shortcut of origin Word document opens in Word as it should.

The problem is that now all shortcuts (for example. LNK files) on the desktop or in the Explorer will want to be opened by Word and use Word icon to display the shortcut. This is known as a file association and the default icon. The same condition can occur if you have performed these actions on one. JPG or even a. EXE, but the. LNK explanation is much more likely.

This has happened enough that a small utility was written to cancel the. LNK file association was created. There is a registry hack to do this, but I recommend the utility unLNK for its ease of use.

A utility to Unassociate Types of files in Windows 7 and Vista
    http://www.Winhelponline.com/articles/231/1/an-utility-to-unassociate-file-types-in-Windows-7-and-Vista.html
