Cannot send emails: to prevent spammers, we sometimes allows you to enter characters before sending your message.

By connecting to Hotmail Windows live, I'm invited to check myself by entering the characters that are displayed. I do successfully, but I can't send emails. When I want to do, a message appears to ask me to enter characters until I can send the message. I enter the characters he says it's ok. I need to click close and press send again. But when I do so it repeatedly asks me to enter characters to check myself.

I've tried probably 10 times now.

  • Metro App for Messenger "we cannot send a message now.

I try to use the Metro Messenger for Facebook chat app, and I linked accounts. Whenever I start it, it says 'get info' at the top, but my status down in the background is always "not connected". I'm unable to change the active status or Invisible, because these options are grayed out. When I type a message in the text box, red text appears above it that reads "we cannot send a message now.
After you initially install Windows 8, the Messenger app worked well. Later in the night after a few updates it stop working and I rebooted my system several times since then, nothing helps.

I had the same problem as well. I have uninstalled/installed and the issue has not yet returned. I think that the problem is with Skype, as JoakimMagnusson noted.

Reinstall the application Messenger solved the problem for me, even with Skype being still there, I can send and receive messages.

  • Send Adobe allows you to choose how many days your files can be downloaded - as with Adobe send now? Also, why don't I see the antivirus message more with 'Send' versus 'Send now'?

Send Adobe allows you to choose how many days your files can be downloaded - as with Adobe send now? Also, why don't I see the antivirus message more with 'Send' versus 'Send now'?

There is no automatic expiry of sent files coming. If you want to prevent to be downloaded, you can cancel them at any time.

All files uploaded to our servers * are * virus research. I don't know why we are is no longer displayed the message while scanning is in progress. I can ask the team if you want me to.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Thanks nene!

I have studied the problem and the solution.
    The results are displayed below.

IF YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER IS

    ATT OR SBC GLOBAL
    AND YOUR EMAIL CLIENT IS
       WINDOWS LIVE MAIL
    AND YOUR OPERATING SYSTEM IS

    WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM
AND IF YOU CAN RECEIVE MAIL
    CAN NOT SEND to MAIL
BE SURE TO CHECK THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS:

Outgoing (SMTP) server port should be 587
and CHECK the box that says "my server requires authentication".
Do NOT check the SSL box.

Click APPLY at the bottom, and then close the Windows Live Mail program
and then reopen it.  This should send messages in your Outbox (as appropriate).
To speed up this process, you can click on the SYNC button on the MenuBar at the top of WML.

If there are no messages to send, compose a new message and send it to yourself.
You can click on SYNCHRONIZE to watch status box open and show you if it sends.
Check also sent box and Inbox for sending TEST msg.

    * also, if you have been told by AT & T or SBC GLOBAL who to check your email on the internet you must go through Yahoo.com and enter your full e-mail (att.net OR sbcglobal.net) and enter your log in password, then your email POP3 and SMTP settings must also include the following:

    INCOMING (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com
    OUTBOUND (SMTP): mail.yahoo.com

    Thanks & sincerely,.

  • After upgrade to 38.3 cannot send outgoing messages

I made a mistake and accidentally updated to Thunderbird 38.3 on my MacBook El Captain running. Now, when I try to send emails from Thunderbird, I get a could not connect to the server leaving a message of unknown reason. All the outgoing server settings are correct, evidenced by our it staff of the University. Is exactly the same thing on my PC before and no help from anyone was never able to remedy. I can open, connect and download messages very well. I just ache to send messages and the connection to the outgoing server. It started with TB worm. 38.2 on my PC and now 38.3 on my Mac. Very irritating. Had to switch to Outlook as my email on my PC client and now will have to find a new client for my Mac. Older versions of Thunderbird always worked fine. I do not know what so new and improved who have them do that with our company Exchange system, but we all must abandon Thunderbird now. Does anyone else have this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix? I posted this problem before, but none of the suggestions have been on this problem or helped.

  • Cannot send a message via a European Site

    Good evening

I want to send a message through a European Site. The Customer Service Center give an e-mail address that get to send them the message, which I did. But the message does not pass. Can you tell me why and how I can solve this problem. Thank you.
It is the NDR message I received:

"The connection to the server failed. "Submitted 'bunk bed - couch combo - $175 (Coral Gables)', account: 'aol.com', server: 'aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E.

Is - your AOL email service provider?  If so, it really has nothing to do with the address of the recipient.  0x800CCC0E error is a failure to connect to your outgoing server and usually from AOL, "aol.com" is not the correct server name.  AOL uses "smtp.aol.com" for outgoing mail.  SO, what the error means is that you have your values of SMTP server incorrectly specified in the account information of any client of e-mail that you use.

See if this helps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883081.  It describes the Outlook Express settings, but any e-mail client is configured in the same way with the same values.

  • Cannot send video messages from Skype

All of a sudden I can't send video messages in Skype.

I think it's a fault of the router, because I am able to send video messages when I am connected to the network 3g and not my wifi router modem.

I changed the NAT, filtering for 'open' and it still does not work.

Someone at - it a solution to the problem please?

I am running windows 10, with everything updated.

Thanks for your reply Darren. The only problem I have with Skype's video messaging. I have no idea on the ports. I think I solved the problem by going into the QOS and preferably change Skype to high. Since I did it I tried to send video messages 2 and it worked. Could you tell me why that would make a difference?
